Ambush was amazing, most of the staff there is still very pleasant however, a larger company took over and things simply aren't the same. Occasionally you will get greeted by a former employee which is nice but the family friendly environment that Ambush created is no longer. Their prices are ridiculous and they do not honor longevity from loyal customers.
Ambush was bought out by Las Vegas Pest Control and so far I have not been impressed.
Used to come into the home and spray. Now only outside which doesn't seem as effective. Also trying to call them is an adventure, not a good one. Canceling my service.
I am not a customer from hell or heaven, however, I am, a picky customer. Ambush Pest Control has and is a very professional, courteous, patient and expressive with their heart's care and with the care of your home and their business. Best Vendor, in fact, only Vendor of quality, the property ownership has provided, in customer service.
Been with Ambush for almost 2 years now. The level of service Mike provides is absolutely top notch. Super responsive to any questions we have and even makes an effort to get to know us. Every technician wishes they could be half as good as Mike is.
I’ve been with this company over 20 years. They sold it. New company is non-professional. Notified of rate change by email and then sent past due notice. I pay by check each visit. Service date/time confirmed but no one came. On hold on phone with no response. I am disappointed and looking for a new company!
Have had their service for just over a year. Excellent work and very thorough. My only complaint is the our service person keeps changing and it has been difficult to get consistent follow through. Now a former customer and have been for close to three years.
I've been a customer for 22 years. They sold the business. Now owned by a corporation. They have a glitch in their new billing system. They insist I am 3 months past due. My Wells Fargo bill pay disagrees. I asked to speak with the billing department and they said they don't know the corporate number. When I initially called the local office told me there was a glitch in the billing system. It now is just like any other pest control nationwide service. I would suggest someone shop around for the best price.

I have used this serviced for many years and now our technician is Jarred who is always prompt, dependable and he has a very peasant personality. When asked, he will always offer suggestions to rid the property of all types of insects and follows up if those suggestions are taken by the owner.

Bill is awesome! He is informative when asked about issues and will take action if there are unexpected pests. He always shows up within the expected time frame and is easy to get along with! This is a great company and is appropriately priced!
They USED to be a great company but have gotten very money oriented. A $50 fee for cancellation after using them for for years off and on. I think I'll find another company for my new house.
The lady at the office she was very rude over the phone also they have very bad customer service!
Nearly got hit by an older guy in this company's truck who was driving extremely aggressive and wrecklessly as he blew through a red light on Lake Mead Pkwy nearly sideswiping me when my light was green, then 20 seconds later he got even closer to sideswiping me again as he was speeding at over 30mph while going the wrong way (perpendicular) across the parking rows in the Lake Mead Walmart parking lot! I have it all on dashcam which will be on the next "Bad Drivers Of Las Vegas Nevada" video on YouTube. The driver was an older caucasian male, 50-60yrs old, 5ft 9in to 6ft tall, balding with gray/white short hair, average/somewhat overweight build. I also took a picture of the truck in front of the business he walked into but couldn't get a pic of him since he already made it inside before I could take the picture as he was driving at over 30mph and I was only going 6-7mph so he obviously got to that side of the parking lot way faster than me!
After paying $100 for them to bomb my apartment, they didn't follow up as they said they were going to. I had them for 5 months (1 month short of a contract, when I moved addresses). On the 6th month the tech left a note stating the property was serviced (weird because no one was home), I didn't receive a call for an more schedulings, and I didn't see any problems at my new home. After about 3 months of fighting with the post office, I got my mail which contained THREE letters stating I owed them $50 early cancellation fee (how come I was never called or contacted about the 1 month I was short? How come I received a notice on my door on the 6th month?). After taking a couple months to settle in my new job. I reached out to Ambush to pay the $50 and restart service. I was denied for "non service and cancellation." They stated they left me ONE voicemail in March, yet I have no record of that and I have all of my voicemails saved on my phone. There are plenty of pest control companies and obviously they didn't appreciate me as a customer. I will never recommend this company to anyone. (My mom recommended me but as of now she gets sprayed every month and is still seeing bugs here and there). I am not asking for anything free and I am willing to pay past amounts (even if the $50 was unjust since they never called me)
One of the drivers from this company was driving erratic and speeding down galleria. If I was the owner of this company I would really try to educate these drivers on how to drive properly!
Ambush Pest Control Can't Be Trusted For more than a year, I used Ambush, and the service was marginal. The problem was scheduling. I would get a call 24 hours before they wanted to spray, never on the same day each month. If I could be home, they would spray inside and out. If I couldn't, they would only spray outside (I think). I called the company to complain and work something more predictable out, only to discover that they charge for spraying outside only. They apparently spray indoors as a "favor." That was news to me! The very next cycle, I got a call from the technician, and I informed him that I wouldn't be home the next day, but might be the day after. He told me he would call to confirm which he never did. Yup, they showed up anyway and sprayed outside only, so I threatened not to pay. The tech had the audacity to call me to tell me I was a liar, and that he never promised to call. I fired them but they billed me for the service anyway. Do you really want a technician in your home who would lie? Seriously?
In the beginning it was fine. However from the very start, we had to have them come 2x a month because the pest were not being controlled. In the 4th month of service, I started seeing scorpions and was actually stung. We had them come out to spray inside and out and the Tech told us we "shouldn't" see them anymore. The started charging us $5 more a month to add the scorpion poison to the other chemicals. It seems like after they sprayed we started seeing more. I called Ambush back to tell them, the lady that answered started off by saying she doesn't know why the tech would tell us we wouldn't see them anymore because you can't get rid of them but she would have the tech call me back. Was rude and condescending the whole conversation, the tech never called me back, and they sent a bill because the previous month they had to come back out, which they claim they don't charge. It was amazing they we so surprised when we wanted to cancel our service. I advised her we had to hire another company to ride us of the scorpions which by the way they did!! She told me we still had a $32 balance and would have to pay $45 for early cancellation. I regret ever using this company, would not recommend them to anyone else, and cannot believe how they stay in business. Bulwark is more expensive but do a way better job and are worth it!
