My experience with Genuine Pest Control has been wonderful. We had been trying to get several companies to come out and give us a bid to get rid of rodents and they either didn't follow up or didn't show up at all. I spoke with Allison and she set me up with the inspector (Danny) and the tech (Jordan) to come the same week. The arrived on time and were very nice and understood I felt the problem was urgent. They inspected the property and got right to work. Several companies I called did not do commercial property and they all recommended Servepro who doesn't do commercial property either nad they don't recommend anyone else. I feel like I am with the best company to take care of our issues. LaHood Construction Jordan takes care of our monthly service and is always professional and friendly. He takes the time to ask if we have any questions and if we do he is knowledgeable about the subject. We feel genuine pest control is the best company we could have chosen. Woman that answered the phone today 11/12 was very rude, my mother mistakenly called pest control instead of animal control & lady was being very inconsiderate and had an attitude the entire phone call. This also happened last month when she called about lights due to a recommendation, seems like the recommendation wasn’t true at all considering the receptionist didn’t care that she reflects their business. Not only are they lying in their response- lady Answered the phone already angry with an evil tone & never told my mother to call the humane society, the lady said call the county with a horrible tone. I’m also going to assume you heard her cuss under her breath at my mom while on the phone too. And your employee never tried giving my mother the number to the shelter, again, stop lying for your employees, take accountability and move on. An apology would’ve been fine, don’t lie about your employees being kind. If this is what you guys represent and are okay reflecting this business, I’m incredibly disappointed. we’ve been supporting this business for awhile and have gotten two rude responses from the same lady, that’s very inappropriate and disrespectful of you lying for your employee and trying to embarrass a customer. Shame on you.

I have listened to the phone call your mother made, which is the only one we received today about a loose dog and our customer service representative stated that “I’m sorry we do not handled domestic animals for that. You need to call the Humane Society for that” and attempted to give her the number to the Humane Society. <br>as far as lights we have no history of that. I’m sorry, but after listening to our recorded phone calls, I found nothing that would be considered rude or impersonal. We tried to be as helpful as possible and if you would like to contact us directly to discuss this matter, please call us at 402-300-8168.<br>
Very nice people; they caught 2 ground squirrels; I have caught 10 in the 2 weeks since I started working on what they missed.

If you were shopping based on price alone we cannot know what other companies are offering with their services and whether it is an apples to apples comparison. I tried looking into it myself, However I do not show your info as a customer that has ever called into us. Nice people. Unsure of quality of work or service. Due to an upcoming siding replacement project on my house, an estimate and the bat service wouldn't occur until a later date. I'll find someone else to address the bats now.

I literally called and was just wondering if they could trap a raccoon bc it’s in our neighborhood and it’s pretty fat. We have a lot of little children as well as dog owners so I wanted to see if they charged or not. Also my concern was if it was potentially rabid or not. I called and the lady was rude from the beginning I told her when the raccoon was out and about and such and she just rudely cut me off and said well they’re nocturnal. Yea I know that but I was gonna tell her it’s in peoples bushes and going poo on peoples lawns but I ended up being nice casually ending the call hanging up because I don’t want service from someone who is going to be rude and interrupt and treat my problem as no big deal. Do not recommend them at all go to another pest control service instead. Horrible.

I have looked through our call logs and do not show any interaction last week with you. If you think this was us and not another company I would love to discuss what you feel went wrong.
Have a raccoon in the attic. genuine came back for five days. Every time there was a different reason why things did not work. Their last statement was that they decided that we were feeding them and they quit. I found that so incredible that I snapped. The point is genuine went into the attic for two minutes over the entire week. That was it. There was nothing aggressive about their work. They say they will catch as many raccoons as necessary over five days but don’t count on it. We had a problem situation but I feel like they made things worse… at least more stressful. I asked for the owner to call, and am not hearing back. Hmm. Good luck with your raccoons folks. … the owner called me and responded to review. There was at least one notable inaccuracy in his response, about timing. It is not worth fighting over those now. Good luck folks.

I made the call to tell my technician to pull our equipment. We stopped all work and refunded your money in full. Some customers are just not a good fit for us. I hope you can find a company that you will work well with. Have a great day.
I had used this company after getting some great information on what to look for when using a bat exclusion company back in July 2020. I'll admit Becky, the office person was very off putting in her demeanor when especially answering questions I had. Despite that, I decided to utilize this company. They had sent Malachi to basically set up the bat exclusion. Although, he is very nice, at the time, seemed very inexperienced. Although, was extremely helpful with taking several bats out of our basement. Didn't hear anything for a few months other than some sporadic scratching here and there. Fast forward to May 2021. I hear the ever so familiar sound of several bats, considering the year prior to the exclusion, I absolutely know what I'm hearing. So I contact the company, explain that we definitely still have bats. I was told that I would be contacted and the tech would be out in the next couple of weeks. A few weeks go by, no phone call, no update. I call again explain that I'm really irritated that no one has been by or called. Finally on June 10th, Dan comes out and despite a thorough inspection, he finds nothing. He then tells me he'll have an associate from another business to take a look and maybe he'll see something that was missed and when the findings get reported, I'll be called. The associate came later that day, yet never received a call. I had to call them after not hearing after a couple of weeks. To then be told that there was another potential entry point they were going to come back and seal in the next 2 weeks and also seal the soffets completely. Fast forward to Tuesday, July 7th. I called and as you can imagine, extremely irritated because this is now going on over a year now. The gal, Lori apologized and said that I would receive a call the next day as none of the techs were back in yet due to the holiday. Fast forward again to today, I never received a call, so I called them. They FINALLY will be coming back out on the 12th to complete something that should've been done weeks ago. The reason they are getting the low rating is due to extremely poor response and as a customer I have felt completely neglected and tossed to the wayside. I understand things happen, but this has been nothing but consistent since I've retained their services. If you are going to use this company, I'd say keep them accountable to their word and you may have to keep on them in order to get everything accomplished.

Excellent company. Becky was very patient with me, and pleasant and professional. She gets five stars. My overall rating for Genuine is four and a half stars. There was one minor glitch. The agreement the customer has to sign says the customer is required to “visually check any traps on your property once daily,” but you don’t have to do that because Genuine does it for you. But overall the service was excellent. They came out the same day I called, and I didn’t have to be at home when they came to set the traps. When I suggested that the traps be moved from where Genuine placed them to a different location, they did so promptly and we had great results once the traps were moved. If I have more critter problems, I’ll definitely give Genuine a call. On follow-up visit they installed a screen. Very prompt. Installation very affordable.

Requested an estimate and within 30 minutes was contacted and provided some options. Becky was very friendly and efficient! Within 20 minutes after confirming a same day appointment, I received a phone call and text from Clinton that he was 10 minutes away. Super fast response time and solution was provided promptly. Clinton was so friendly and professional. He was quick to install the squirrel trap and explained their process. It was even raining when he was here, such a trooper. I am very pleased so far and look forward to the problem getting solved ASAP.
