First insect elimination I’ve had Only 2 visits

Fenix has been handling pest control for several years at my home. I’m happy that they have prevented infestations of bugs and rodents. Scheduling is flexible and done in advance. Despite a recent snafu with technology, treatment was still able to be done, thanks to the Tech’s (Bart H’s) willingness to communicate and be flexible. All Techs have been very polite and professional despite rain, shine, storms, snow, or freezing temperatures.

When we first started using Fenix they were great but the service has gone downhill. The technician showed up and didn’t come to the door after making arrangements for someone to be home. He quickly sprayed the exterior and never asked about inside the house. For the amount of money I pay for the quarterly service, it should take more than 5 minutes.

Their door to door salesman can’t even follow basic instructions of a “No Soliciting” sign. Why would I want to hire them if they couldn’t follow basic instructions.

Fenix Pest Control does a great job controlling pest around our house at a reasonable price. The service provided today by Nathan was quick and effective. He was courteous and explained effectively.

Technician Nate Hansen was very organized hitting every trouble spot and leaving everything as he found it. Second application- with first being A okay.

Met Colton this morning. He introduced himself with a smile and handshake, was impressed. Told me what he was doing and when to water. Showed him a bush that had spiders and cobwebs, he was happy to take care of it. Very impressive young man! Again his name is Colton Sorenson.

I would strongly recommend avoiding Fenix Pest Control. We signed up with Fenix Pest Control on May 27 after one of their door-to-door sales representatives came through our neighborhood. We decided to switch from our longtime pest control provider and scheduled our initial service for May 28. That decision turned out to be a huge mistake. The technician who came to our home, Ahmed, sprayed our curtains, our zebra window coverings, and a comforter in one of our downstairs bedrooms. These are household furnishings that should never have been sprayed during a routine pest control treatment. Immediately after the appointment, we contacted Fenix and were referred to a customer support manager, Brittany. She even called us from her personal phone because she was off that day but wanted to help. After we sent photos of the damage, she acknowledged that the technician was new and inexperienced and indicated that this was likely why our furnishings had been sprayed. She told us a more experienced technician would come to our home on Friday, May 29, to inspect everything and make things right. No one ever showed up. After the weekend, we called back and were told they had simply forgotten to tell the technician to come out. At that point, there had already been too many red flags: an inexperienced technician, damage to our home, a missed follow-up appointment, and no accountability. We declined another visit and requested to cancel our contract. During that conversation, Brittany told us to submit our cancellation request in writing via email and assured us our contract would be canceled and that we would be refunded for the botched service. Fast forward to July 31, while reviewing our bank statements, we realized we had never received the refund. We called customer service only to be told that there was no record of any promise to refund us. We were also informed that Brittany was “no longer employed” by the company and that they only had documentation of one phone call from us, despite the fact that we contacted them multiple times. We asked to speak with management. After reviewing the photos we originally submitted, the manager acknowledged she could see what appeared to be pesticide on our zebra blinds and comforter but claimed she could not confirm it came from Fenix. She said she would escalate everything to the COO. Five minutes later, she called back and said the COO “couldn’t see anything” in the photos and that because a service had technically been performed, they would not issue any refund. No apology. No accountability. No ownership. No attempt to make the situation right. Instead, we are now replacing our zebra blinds, curtains, and comforter entirely at our own expense because Fenix Pest Control refuses to stand behind the work of their employees. The most disappointing part wasn’t even the damage itself. Mistakes happen. It was how this company handled the situation afterward. From customer service to management to the COO, every opportunity to do the right thing was ignored. Our advice? Save yourself the headache and choose a company that values its customers and stands behind its work. We learned an expensive lesson: don’t let an aggressive door-to-door sales pitch convince you to leave a company that has already earned your trust. Fenix Pest Control certainly did not earn ours.

Mason did an awesome job today like always went above in beyond on the detail. Inspected each and every posible entry point making sure the area was treated properly. Truly a great company to work with excelent work from day one.

Nate came by today to fix another tech's lack of addressing our bug growth in and around our home. He was very knowledgable about what needed to be done, took care of all areas of the house inside and out as well as covering the yard and shed. He explained what he was doing and where he was doing it. I appreciate his help in trying to get things under control!
