We have had the best experience with McCarthy. From fumigating our whole home to our bimonthly treatments. And our tech Shawn is a great and so friendly. We trust him and what he is doing, that says a lot because we have had some companies prior that are not trustworthy or honest but I have found McCarthy to be top notch!

It might seem a little strange to leave a phenomenal review of a pest control company, but the staff and service is so good I felt compelled. Their company reminds me of a time many years ago, when people answered the phone, took the time to get to know your needs, responded with care and compassion and delivered great service at a fair price. McCarthy was able to send out an inspector the next day after I called. I was worried about a couple of termites I had found in my yard and basement windowsills as the house I purchased a few months ago had previous remediated termite damage. As it turns out, those bugs I found were ants, not termites. Jeff Richardson was great about showing me where prior treatments had been made to the house, describing their effectiveness and how much longer they might last (based off his best guesstimates obviously), and giving me a bid for what the McCarthy treatment would cost once I felt I needed to replace the current treatment system. No pressure sales. Just information, peace of mind, and a firm handshake. I cannot recommend McCarthy enough to anyone who is worried about insects possibly damaging their property, especially if you get Jeff. Oh yea, and the inspection? Free.

Bob was just great. We thought we had carpenter ants, but he assured us we did not. I then asked him about treating for brown recluses. We'll be having them back to take care of those! He was a world of knowledge.

Reached out to get info on having them service my house after we suddenly lost our pest person. Spoke with a woman who answered and said she would need to get back to me after talking to the owner. Never received a call back.

Stay far away from these guys if you have a squirrel problem. We had a squirrel chew a hole in the side of our house and get into the soffit, so we needed someone to come and remove that squirrel. They quoted us $250 to come out and put down some traps and catch one squirrel, and then $55 for each additional squirrel. Sounded pretty reasonable since there seemed to be only one, maybe two squirrels in the soffit! So this guy comes out and his solution is to put 4 traps next to some trees in our yard, which are not evenly remotely close to the hole in our house. He refused to put a trap near the entry hole because “it was too dangerous.” We live in an older subdivision with a lot of mature trees and tons of squirrels everywhere, so it was no surprise a squirrel got trapped right away. Oh and big surprise, it wasn’t the one in our soffit! They were going to continue this for two weeks, and we unfortunately don’t have the budget to remove every squirrel in the neighborhood, so we cancelled the service and looked elsewhere.

McCarthy pest control has been a great company to work with. Our technician Liam was so friendly and took time to answer all my questions. Left us a report on door letting us know what he had done and stations he had replaced. Great job Liam! Thank you.

A bit in the pricey side, but the staff is always nice and knowledgeable. They seem to take care of things correctly.

McCarthy did exactly what we needed. Eliminated our bed bug problem. The customer service was top notch and the owner took great care to deliver what we wanted. We had some issues with the service as far as the timeline they originally told us so I'm forced to give them 4 stars instead of 5. I will say that they compensated us for the lost time so if I ever have a problem again I will be going back to them without question.
