Rather than doing his job the inspector found about 2" of rot on the bottom of the door frame on an outside door, where it was common for water and mud to collect before I did some landscaping to solve the problem, and said he wasn't certain it was termite damage but he was going to use it as an excuse to recommend treatment so he wouldn't be liable in the future. He found no evidence of termites and ignored the fact that the house had been previously treated. Since this report went to the le
Owner Response
I truly apologize if there was any confusion about the inspection. As I stated that day, "if I see evidence of termites(live termites or old evidence), I have to note that on the inspection report." I understand your frustration, but in my professional opinion, there was evidence of termite activit
Excellent service! What felt like an emergency to me (though it probably wasn’t) was treated with urgency, and they came out the very same day I called. We had an animal trapped in the bottom of an old, out-of-commission wood-burning furnace flue, that had been sealed with Flex Seal, in our basement. Best of all, no ductwork had to be cut - he was able to access the flue from the roof and remove the squirrel in under 45 minutes. Also appreciated that it prevented the possibility of a squirrel go

Thank you so much for your review. We love those challenging service requests. So happy the basement wasn't in shambles. :)
Ryan, our technician, does an awesome job for us every single visit! We’re on the quarterly plan where they come out and spray both interior and exterior. Ryan always reaches out about a week ahead of time to schedule, then messages the day of service about 20–30 minutes before he arrives — like clockwork. It’s incredibly convenient and means I’m never stuck waiting around or taking unnecessary time away from work. Shortly before his last visit, I noticed yellow jackets had built a nest in our
So I just bought my very first home and my sister gave me the information of "the very thorough inspector" they used. They are right! My goodness nothing was missed and a glorious report was given which included pictures that were easy to follow. This report is going to help a lot both immediately and to create a list for future repairs to save up for to knock out one by one. Thank you, Watkins, for making my first home inspection experience pretty dang crystal clear and easy.
So far, so good! We caught 1 mole in the first week to ten days. All the traps were removed shortly after, which at first seemed a bit quick and I questioned it. They came out and assured me that there were no new trails. I was stunned to think ONE mole had devastated my yard! Powerful little sucker! I'm watching now to make sure I have no new activity. They have asked that I let them know if I do, and they will come out to check my yard. Seems fair! Nice office people, too!
Owner Response
Yes, moles can travel 80-100 feet per day. Moles must eat their body weight each day to survive. Female moles are gathering food to have energy to feed themselves as well as their young.

We appreciate your kind words. We strive to offer quality service to all our customers!
We had two raccoons in our basement. They’d gotten in through the chimney. We had tried to catch them ourselves but with no success. Kelly had so much knowledge about raccoons, great advice and a well-reasoned plan. He did a great job of capturing one and then closing off the chimney. I felt very confident about his expertise and he did a great job of following through to our best outcome. I highly recommend Kelly’s.
Owner Response
