I am so disappointed in the customer service of Green RX. It is almost impossible to get anyone on the phone and they NEVER return your call. The work is sub-par and they hit my credit card with charges without explanations. Have left two calls with them today and still have not received a return call.

I’ve been a Green RX customer for several years, but the last two have been extremely disappointing. When I moved into my new home 2 ½ years ago, I transferred my service, and everything went smoothly at first. Last year, my entire backyard was under construction. I told Green RX they only needed to service the side yard and front yard, yet I was still charged full price for treating less than a quarter of my property. I also had to call multiple times to get service completed. The final straw came when the tech came to my door, left a note saying he had sprayed for multiple types of weeds, but I watched from my window and saw him hand-spray only two weeds before leaving. When I called Jonathan, he assured me this was unusual and sent the tech back to re-spray. At the end of the season, I told Jonathan I would be canceling due to repeated issues, but he convinced me to give them one more chance this year. Unfortunately, the service only declined further. Every visit, the tech rode his machine across the yard, and I questioned whether the right chemicals were being used. In July, he sprayed, and within a week my lawn developed widespread yellow patches. At first, I thought it was fungus, but six of my neighbors (who use the same mowing service) had no such problem. Two other companies reviewed my lawn, watched my video, and confirmed the damage was chemical burn, not fungus. When I reached out to Jonathan with photos, he sent the same tech, who claimed my grass was burning from underneath because of “boulders” in the soil. This made no sense, as my lawn was re-graded and resodded with topsoil last fall. The burn was concentrated in the back where the hill causes his machine to tilt, just as seen in the video. I told them their service was terminated immediately. I’ve since emailed and called Jonathan multiple times requesting a refund, as I had to re-sod my lawn, but I’ve received no response. I would not recommend this company.

I originally posted a negative review of this company...the owner himself contacted me and came to our house and reseeded the backyard...he also mulched 2 trees...no charge. Our front yard looks fabulous...and the back is improving. I commend Green RX for their concern.

While in the past they were reliable, now they are charging me for lawn services that are NOT delivered. This company is going down-hill fast!

Hired RX to do annual lawn service. Did one spring application then never came back. Zero effect on weeds. Company does not answer phone or return messages. Told them they were fired via their web site and email. Obvious con according many reviews. Watching my CC bill to make sure they do not charge me. Worst service and care possible.

My family hired this company to mow our elderly relatives lawn as she is too old to keep up with it on her own. We paid the company 6 months worth of service in advance. They NEVER showed up, NEVER completed one service for our relative, and NEVER responded or would answer any of our attempts to contact them. We are just completely out of our money and now our elderly relative is left again with no one to maintain their yard and maintenance needs. I believe it takes a special kind of person to do something like this knowing the service was for an elderly person. Hopefully, they don't scam anyone else like this, please spread the word and help our elderly community from scammers like GreenRX.

My father who is in his 70's has heart failure and is unable to mow the lawn himself. They quoted us a price and said if we prepaid for the entire year we would get a better price. We prepaid for the year and they NEVER showed up to cut his lawn. They refuse to answer are calls and emails. This is criminal. I wish I had read some of the reviews on here before using them. Please do not do business with these people!

Green RX cut the grass next to a homeowner's fence. They drove the riding mower into the fence post leaving 1.5 foot black marks and cuts into the vinyl but they refuse to pay for the damage.

We were trying to take care of our lawn ourselves. We were not having any luck with the weeds and grass. I called a supplier that we use and they recommended this company. I called and talked to the man who answered, I don't remember his name, but I talk to him about the issues that we are having and what the cost would be for the services that I was looking for. After talking about it, I decided that I would have them take of only the front yard. He spoke of the different visits (rounds) and what they do at each. I was told that each visit (round) would be $40. I was also told that since I had an irrigation system that they would do my seeding and aeration early, so I can water. Early to me would of been in Mid Sept to early Oct. Not the case. My sprinkler system was winterized a week before they came out and did the over seeding and aeration. After the appointment, I got a bill for $190. This was not told to me on phone when discussing prices. Also, when looking at my yard after they overseeded and aerated, the tech completely missed the area around my mailbox. There was no seed in that area, but was needed. It is all dirt in the area that needs grass. Also on another visit. I saw the tech arrive and get out the materials that he needed. He sprayed my front yard and then dopped little black seed like stuff in the yard. He completely missed my left side of my front yard and again the area around my mail box. I have since canceled my services and now still owe $190. I wish who I had talked to when scheduling services would of told me this is what they charge for over seeding and aeration, I would of passed.

They have been my lawn treatment service for a year or two, today they came out to do a spring cleanup. They did an AWESOME JOB! They came out with a crew and in no time they cleaned up all the leaves, cut back my shrubs, and cleaned everything up! Highly recommended!!!!

I’ve been using green RX for six years now. They are very fair with their prices and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend green RX if you want the best yard in the neighborhood.

I would never use any other company to work in my yard. They are so professional. They went above an beyond to get my yard together. The whole crew is amazing. I would recommend them to anyone in need.

This company services my neighbor. After leaving her house, I witnessed their truck make a u-turn in front of my house and drive up in my yard! They were in too much of a hurry to drive down the street to use the circle. This is a lawn company driving up in someone’s lawn!! I have it all on my security cameras. I’ve called them several times. A supervisor will not take my calls. I’ve emailed and sent pictures like the young lady requested and I have still had no response!! My husband and son finally went out and repaired our lawn and moved the large rocks back into place. We will not know until Spring if the sprinkler heads that they drove over will work. The fact that they will not take cared this says a lot about this company. Poor customer service. Don’t seem to care what their employees are doing. A lawn company ripping up someone’s lawn!!

After posting my review, I was contacted by Jonathan and my issue was resolved. Pat came out and covered the damaged area with sod. He was very polite and professional. I am satisfied with the outcome. HOPE YOU NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM!! While the crews are polite and hard working, the office management is non-existant! Have to wonder if the owner understands that his manager will not return phone calls or address issues. When they bought the lawn service I used to use, I tried staying with Green RX..but confused salespeople in the office, and failing to deliver what was promised is why I left. My neighbor kept them, and no problems until this (ref. picture) One of the crew on a riding mower, took it into my lawn on a steep hill while the grass was wet. He slid off into my mulch, scraping away grass in a very hard to grow part of the lawn. Josh was terrific in explaining who to contact, and trying to fix the situation. Unfortunately, he referred me to the manager, who refused to take my calls, and has not called me back...as he said he would through the receptionist. I have gone from a customer, to an ex-customer, to now telling everyone I know not to use this company!

Awful. Bought out previous lawn care provider with no notification. They don't know how to edge, blow grass clippings all over my patio furniture, blow my lava rock out of my landscaping into the yard, ran their mower through my fence, and the last 2 times, it was 12 and 14 days in between mowing. I fired them last week. There are too many options for lawn care to waste your time with these guys.

Full disclosure, I’m not thrilled yet. Lawn is not where I dreamed it would be. But I missed the pre-emergent applications in late winter/early spring and I’m paying the price. I’m confident they’ll get things looking great this fall and into next spring. What I do love is the professionalism. Great people and they want you to be happy. If you’re not, call them. They’ll do everything they can to make you and your lawn happy. Because of that, I’m sticking with my services Note: Don’t do what I did. Get them started early in the year, not in May.

The pre-emergent weed control and fertilizer treatments killed my zoysia sod. They do not return phone calls asking for an explanation and a proposal for compensation or repair. This issue is not resolved. Promised corrective actions not performed as of 7/6/21. Reneged on installing replacement sod. Promised financial compensation two weeks ago. As of 7/22/21 no action by Green Rx of any kind. Promised to "hand deliver" a check twice. No check, no explanation, no integrity. See photos below of my Green Rx lawn. My experience was the same as that reported by Lynn Hennessy. I reported Greenrx to the Better Business Bureau and Greenrx told the BBB that they would refund my two payments but they never did.

Company didn't follow through with the lawn service/agreement and was impossible to get to talk with the manager. The front office person was very helpful and kind. When finally offered a refund (via BBB), it never came. I had very high hopes for this company after my neighbors recommendation and talking with the original sales guy, but everything else has been disappointing, especially the dishonesty.

Josh came out and did a phenomenal job on our yard! He was on time and helped answer any questions I had. Because of employees like him i would recommend using green rx as a lawn care service seeing how their employees are knowledgeable and care about doing the job well! Thank you josh!

Josh and Scott are always positive, and always go the extra mile for me while at my lawn. The yard always looks great after they leave! Highly recommend this company!
