Robert did an excellent job with initial communication making sure we covered any veg produce in gardens before he began his work. As Robert knew we had continued issues and many mosquitoes he did a very thorough and good coverage of our property and gardens. Again making sure we understood remaining off lawn until completely dried. Thank you Robert for job done well.

3 people came by 3 separate times regarding possible mice in the attic. One sprayed the garage and said put steel wool in the hole out there. The other put a couple traps in the garage and one in the attic. Last one came and stomped around in the attic and then came down and quoted us, 9k, 10k, and 12k for insullation and infestation removal. We luckily were not approved for financing and just found a different place. Per Google: Yes, $12,000 is extremely high for standard mice removal and is generally considered overpriced, often associated with high-pressure, national pest control companies. While severe infestations requiring extensive, specialized, and multi-day work can be costly, typical professional rodent removal, including inspection and sealing (exclusion), usually ranges from $250 to $1,200. Average Job: $200 – $600 for inspection, treatment, and basic sealing. Large Infestations: Up to $2,000–$3,500 for severe, widespread issues, including attic cleaning/insulation removal. The $12k+ Scenario: Such quotes often come from national chains (e.g., Orkin, Terminix) that include unnecessary, high-priced, or "guaranteed" services, such as replacing all attic insulation, full-home structural repairs, or special sanitization treatments that can often be done cheaper by a local contractor. **Except this place

They're door to door salesman. Convinced my 78 year old mother she needed more insulation. There was some frost on the existing insulation when temps were -20 degrees and they found some bat droppings. These jack wagons installed 8 inches in the garage which isn't heated. Installed 3 inches in spots in the house putting blown cellulose over blown fiberglass. Cellulose is heavier then fiberglass so basically they reduced the R value in her house. They did nothing about the bats. They take advantage of the elderly. Charged her $6200 and don't put any information on the bill as square footage or what R value they added. They're crooks and dont respond once the jobs done. They deserve less then 1 star

The tech inky performed services outside when I clearly asked for inside services bait checks etc. I even text messaged the tech. He didn’t ring the doorbell like usual. Thus us a lot of money for low level service . No one asked me if I am seeing activity. What was done outside?I feel really bad. I don’t know what service I got. A card was left but no information on the box.

Provider response

Shana, we sincerely apologize for the less-than-five-star experience and we'd like to clarify which services were performed. Please give our office a call when you have a moment so we can address your concerns. We're looking forward to speaking with you.

This company has an entire Facebook group of customers from all over the country that have complaints about them. This is extremely telling of their services and customer service in general. Update 3 (12/2025): We recently had an energy inspection done and turns out Moxie only put SIX INCHES of insulation and broke our baffles, rather than adding the FIFTEEN INCHES and raising the baffles, like they were supposed to do per the contract. Update 2 (9/2025): It has been two months since I originally posted my review and still no contact regarding the repairs despite me reaching out multiple times. Update: I called them again last week (per their comment below) and was finally able to open a damages claim. It's now been over a week and I still haven't heard anything (again) except a default email requesting payment. Terrible customer service and follow up for the price we pay for their services. They crushed our plants outside, hit and dented our gutter with their truck or ladder (and didn’t tell us, we found out when we got home), left a mess, and used our vacuum. I’ve reached out to their customer service line multiple times as well as emailed to discuss these issues with a customer service rep but no one has gotten back to me. We had our attic serviced by Moxie and it cost us over thousands. We were assured care would be taken to protect the surrounding furniture and clothes (attic access is in master closet) and a thorough cleanup would be done by the team. We offered to move furniture and remove clothes before the service was performed, but they assured us tarps and covers would be laid for protection and there was no need for us to do so. It was extremely disappointing to come home and find that all of our clothes and furniture required extensive cleaning since it appears nothing was covered. We weren’t expecting it to be spotless, but there were large chunks of insulation all over the house and a thick coat of dust on everything by the time they left. This was especially concerning considering we wanted to remove the insulation ourselves to save costs, but they stressed the importance of their crew handling it due to chemicals and any possible contaminated materials. Extremely disappointed in the level of care for such an expensive service.

Provider response

Alexa, this is concerning to hear and we sincerely apologize for the lapse in judgement. We want to look into your experience further, so please give our office a call at your earliest convenience. We're looking forward to making things right.

Called for a simple attic inspection. Got transferred around to 4 people before some could tell me they offered free inspections. Then got bounced around to another 3 people to figure out where scheduling was. Bounced a couple more times until I got to someone who I got to listen to argue with another person about which Wed they could come or not come. I ended up just hanging up during the argument. Overall 31 minutes on the phone and still no one could figure out how to schedule a free attic inspection.

Absolute scam! They did not complete services this summer. It did not get rid of the ants that I signed up for. They were supposed to come out and fix it, but they didn’t. They came out for the next set in the season and I was shocked they were there. I said hold on, you guys haven’t even finished last season. It didn’t work I want to cancel. The cancellation fee is 80% of the remaining contract…I said no to that as they didn’t hold up their end the bargain. Plus, if I have to pay for it anyway, you are coming out. After speaking with two “managers” I left it that they would come out until I was satisfied per the warranty. Next thing I see is a cancellation charge hit my card . Unreal.

Provider response

Marie, we sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings or frustrations that have occurred regarding our service agreement. We do see your account has been discontinued, but please give our office a call if we can further assist you.

This is the WORST company ever. They are a bait and switch company. Their sales men say whatever they need to say to get you to buy their services and then they have a termite person come out for free and plant termites in your yard and get you to buy a 3K treatment plan. Then when you go to cancel you are informed there is a cancellation fee after the sales guy told you there was no contract or fee and you could cancel anytime. They do not obtain solicitor's licenses in the cities they sell in and their customer service is horrendous. They illegally sold their services in my city and surrounding cities and charged me a cancellation fee for their poor services. DO NOT sign with this company, they offer poor services, horrible customer service and all they care about is making money off you and will say whatever they need to say to do so.

Provider response

Danielle, we sincerely apologize for any frustrations that have occurred with our service and agreement. We do see your account has been discontinued, but please let us know if we can assist you further.

Been trying to get in contact with them about a wasp situation in our fireplace. Called them at least 10 times between my husband and I. Emailed them. And also submitted an online inquiry. Nothing. No response. Please call us back. Will edit this review once we have a solution. So far not worth the money we put into. If anything, I’ve seen more wasps around. Once fall and winter comes hopefully the bugs will automatically leave.

Provider response

Every time they have serviced my home (both insect and mosquito spray) they have came and left within about 5 mins. I was home to witness the mosquito spray today and he didn't do the whole yard. The part where the mosquitos actually come from, he avoided completely. The last insect service we had, they did within about 5-7 mins too. I was notified they were on their way AFTER they already had came - had to check my cameras. I was promised when I signed up that they would do the yard (I have ant problems in the yard) and that wasn't done. I've had wasp issues recently and the biggest spiders I've ever seen before. For the amount paid, it's not worth it. If their techs came out and did a thorough job, it might be a different story. I have reached out to customer service and the only explanation I got was "well your next service is coming up". I've had them since May. These problems shouldn't be happening if I'm paying for a pest/insect service.

Provider response

Katie, we always want you to be satisfied with your service. Please give us a call so we can address your concerns.

Solicitor Disregarded No Soliciting Signs - I want to express my frustration regarding an incident that occurred at my home last night around 8:00 PM. Despite having two clearly visible No Soliciting signs on my property—put in place specifically to avoid disruptions due to our young children—an employee rang the doorbell and then knocked shortly after. When I answered the door, the individual was looking at his phone and initially ignored me. I asked if he had seen the signs, and he dismissively replied, “The no smoking signs?”—a response that felt both disrespectful and dismissive of the clear intent of the signage. This was an unnecessary and unwelcome disruption on a Monday evening, and I find it completely unacceptable behavior from a representative of your company. I would appreciate it if this matter is addressed internally so other homeowners are not similarly disrespected

Provider response

Bill, we appreciate your quality feedback and we have passed this along to our team to further investigate. We sincerely apologize for the disturbance.
