I totally forgot to do my review. But in April I ended up finding out I had either squirrels or rats in my attic , I ended up coming across Dail 1. I hired them because we had agreed they were going to catch whatever was in my attic and also they offered a service for fish baits , rats and Roches. When they came to the house they heard the animals up in the attic. After multiple people going up in the attic , one of my family members seen a squirrel. I ended up letting the owner know and so they decided they were going to try to trap the squirrels. They also were suppose to spray my whole house down and the shed outside and they didn’t do that all the way. My mother was home when they did this and she said not once did they spray all the rooms and they never even went to the shed . As for the squirrels they never ended up finding the hole where they where coming in through. It even got to a point where the owner even had the nerve to tell me to sit outside my house all day with a glass wine and find out where the squirrels were coming in through. Which is crazy to me because I’m paying for services , not pay for me to have to do their job. Anyways supposedly they were putting baits to get the squirrels. I later found out they put strings with zip ties in my attic. I still got charged , so I didn’t get a fund refund of my deposit because of a service that wasn’t completed right. At the end I ended up finding another inspector that completed the job. I don’t recommend that anyone having squirrels or animals in your attic to come to these people.

Dear Ms. Pavon,<br><br>I respectfully disagree with your review!!! We entered into a pest control service agreement that originally provided service for rats, mice, roaches and silverfish (initial inspection had roof rat droppings identified in the attic). We always provide a thorough and complete service to all of our customers on every visit as discussed. It is unfair to judge our technician when you weren’t present. We even called to check in with you before leaving the initial service on a Saturday morning. During that visit, we also identified and had visual confirmation of a squirrel in the attic (which would be an additional service). I was also disappointed when I heard that you tried to hire our technician on the side to do the trapping work we discussed, especially if you weren’t happy with his service. The facts remain, we had bent over backwards to help by providing services after hours/weekend, offered discounted trapping services once squirrels were identified and returned for a two-man roof inspection at no additional charge. When we could not identify new access points, we asked for you to help identify the entry. <br><br>As you already know, you didn’t disclose all the facts, and your actions created a much larger problem before we even started (prior to our service you sealed up the opening that was being utilized by the animals thus causing them to chew through the wall and damage wires). It is abundantly clear that in addition to your rodent problem (IT IS CLEAR BY YOUR PICTURES THE RODENT BAIT WAS CONSUMED BY THE RATS PRESENT), we identified a problem with squirrels in the attic (this isn’t uncommon). I understand this can be frustrating and costly, but your attacks are unfounded. <br><br>It is for these reasons I sent you an email the Monday after service was provided stating I would cancel our services with no penalty, and we wouldn’t be able to help with the trapping. Highly recommended, very knowledgeable, especially with regard to termite prevention and mitigation. This is not a national corporate company, nor a national franchise. Franklynn is locally owned and operated that has been doing business here in Metairie for over 55-yrs. Their service is impeccable, from the welcoming voice of Kim in the office to Josh (one of their termite technicians) in the field. In addition Tony, our technician on the pest control side of things, is wonderful and goes out of his way to accommodate our busy schedule. I've been a Customer for over 20-yrs. In fact my entire family use Franklynn & couldn't be happier. Simply put, the BEST!

I always Appreciate the kindness and professionalism miss Kim exudes every time she calls to schedule an appointment for a termite inspection. We’ve been with Dial 1 for years and have been very satisfied with their service.
Our condo was treated for termites by Dial One after we found fras on the carpet in the living room. The technician, Edgor Mejia, was very polite and informative. He was prepared for our 12 ft. ceiling height and patched the hole after treating for the termites. Excellent job!
Updating my review for 2024. Dial One has been my termite company for a decade, and we haven't seen any termites in our structure in that time, even while the house next door got devoured. Kim is always very friendly and professional on the phone. Whether taking payment or scheduling a visit, Kim is terrific. The crews they send out to inspect seem thorough, and sometimes I send pictures of random bugs I find, and they let me know those bugs aren't destructive. Today the inspector was Edgar Mejia, who had a great attitude. Edgar saw no sign of termites but found a leaky outside pipe that I hadn't noticed. Really appreciated that. From Kim at home station to their crews on my property, and the fact that we still haven't seen termite damage, it feels like a good operation.

Edgar Mejia treated my home with Terrmidor as a termite protection system on December 13, 2024. He was very diligent in his work, which included trenching and treating the soil. It is difficult work and time consuming. He seems to be very particular in his application. I found him very pleasant to talk to, and he had a very positive attitude about the process which took at least six hours to perform. If you’re lucky enough to have him assigned to your project, I think you will agree with me.

We’ve been a customer of Dial One for over 4 years after taking over the contract of the previous homeowner. Joshua inspected today and he was the best! Super friendly and told us what we needed to do to improve the house. Overall great experience this year.

Joshua just left and did an amazing job walking thru the house with me and then pointing out problems under the foundation we had no idea about with the AC leaks and how that could cause problems potentially with termites. Can't recommend Joshua and Dial One enough
They talk a good service, but don't deliver. On the first visit, the technician refused to treat one area, with piping into bath tub. Of course, cockroaches continued to infiltrate bathroom and adjoining rooms. Refused to come back and provide proper service. Switched to J&J and am thrilled I did so. They deliver! THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO DIAL ONE: I do not have a termite treatment warranty. and explained that repeatedly to the technician. Next company treated that area, and difference was incredible.

i live in New Orleans. Bugs and pests are usually a daily part of our lives. Working with Franklynn Pest Control over the last couple years has made those issues a thing of the past. The technician checks in regularly and is very flexible for our busy schedule. We get services a few times a year and bug and rodent issues are no longer. They even handled a bee hive situation for a friend! ( I got a jar of honey! ) Seriously, if you live in Metairie, New Orleans, Kenner, or anywhere around here, give them a shout. The owner will personally discuss your situation to make sure the best service and solution is set-up.
We have been a Dial One customer since we moved to New Orleans 4 1/2 years ago. I really appreciate the fact that our technician Chris works with my schedule. He is very professional and our dog is very excited to see him.
Parking is unclear 3 sides and gate behind. One side major tow away zone unclear for what company as there is 3 in the one building. Second side for bigwigs/owners you can get away with parking there if you're car is nice don't do it if you have a hooptie. Gate side in the back will probably be full that's the best option if you can find a spot no guarantees. Other than that I had a wonderful interaction with this company nice people
