We have used Etown Exterminating for more than 10 years. I love our current technician, Willie. He is polite, always answers my questions, and is on time to for appointments. I can tell that he cares about taking care of customers. I'll close by adding that he gets rid of the uninvited pests that occasionally come into my house. He gets the job done!

I scheduled a pest control appointment, and they never showed up. No call, no text, nothing. When I reached out, they apologized and rescheduled for a make-up visit — and then missed that one too, again with zero communication. If you value your time and reliability matters, look elsewhere. Two missed appointments and no courtesy call tell you everything you need to know about their professionalism.

We called Etown exterminating to come out to our house to investigate a yellow jacket infestation on Friday. Originally the exterminator incorrectly identified them as honey bees, and told us he couldn’t do anything about them. We then had to call a beekeeper who confirmed they were yellow jackets. When we called Etown exterminating back to let them know they were incorrect, they were unable to come back and correct their mistake and help until Monday, leaving us in the house with stinging insects all weekend, which caused a huge amount of stress for our entire household, and injuries to our pets. They also did not respond to any texts or calls for assistance. If they had identified them correctly in the first place, we could have solved the issue before needing to call an emergency exterminating service on Sunday. I would not recommend this company.

Company texted me asking for $114 because my account was “behind on payments.” I pulled up my bank statements and saw that we had been paying every month accordingly and we were not behind. I texted back and sent them a screenshot of the payments. They said they did not see the payments on my account and I needed to call my bank. I called my bank and they agreed that they see the payment coming out every month. I tried to call the exterminator, and they did not answer so I left a message, which no call was returned. Magically, they “found” the payments and applied them to my account. I believe it is very unprofessional for information like this to be handled over text to begin with. This month, they came out to my house without sending a reminder first. This months payment did not come out yet so I contacted them, and they said accidentally removed the wrong card from our account. Extremely disappointed in this company’s customer service.

Would not recommend this company to anyone. Extremely poor company management in getting employees to service my home and employees decide homes that they will service and not service.

Guy was nice but never once said I had termites even after all the times they came out..they come out when I am selling my house and they find dead ones and said it needed treated by the buyers Never will use them again

Had a home inspection done for termites for buyers and the guy that came was a little on the hefty side could barely fit in crawl space to see for termites the guy came back out not long after barely any dirt on him which to see the wood you have to crawl to the other side of house to see any wood and when we seen the paper he wrote said there was termite damage but there were no more termites. We had the house termite inspected before we moved in. I've also done work under the house an not once have I seen damage or termites and all of my floor are sturdy no weak spots. This guy couldn't fit an made stuff up and I don't appreciate someone making stuff up will never be calling these guys if I have an issue

Etown installed devices at my home without my approval. I would suggest not doing business with them.

We have wasps in our house. E-Town Exterminating came out and couldn't find the nest and said they couldn't do anything. I was so surprised and disappointed they didn't do anything. They were very nice just not helpful. Another company came out for a free estimate the next week and found 4 nests, various holes in the house and offered a plan of action.

I called this company back in the fall of 2016 and was told that only the supervisor gives out estimates and that I would get a call back from him later. Later came and went with no call. Now in May 2017 I hear a radio advertisement for them and I decide to give them a call again. Sure enough I was told the same line that only the supervisor gives out estimates and that I would get a call back from him later. well four days later still no call. Guess that shows what type of service you can expect from them.
