Greenix came to perform our pest control service today. It's a quarterly maintenance we have to keep everything under control. He was very thorough and made sure to ask if we had any problems with pests since the last visit. We have seen very little pest (bug) activity since Greenix has been servicing our property. If you need this kind of service I would highly recommend you use Greenix also.

Sebastian, the service technician who came out today did a great job! I asked them to call or text to confirm an approximate arrival window - check. Told him about issues with wasp; took care of it - check. Friendly, courteous and professional - check. Described the new formula used on the exterior, gave me some new insect traps to put in the garage and did it in a timely manner on a very hot day🥵 Thank you Sebastian😉

The pest control service does nothing and locks you in for a year even if it’s not fixing your problem. Service techs are not professional. I do not recommend

Do not sign with this company, they will randomly schedule appointments without caring whether you are home or not, their pest tech do not even spray enough to kill all bugs. I called then to remove a wasp nest and he was not able to fully remove the nest pretending that it would damage my house but then went ahead and charged me, plus I got tricked into entering a contract after explaining to them that I moved to a different state all they care about was my money, and charging me fees, Again there are a lot of of company in ankeny/iowa calling this one was the biggest mistake I have ever made. They will trick you into entering contract and force you to stay even if they dont deliver and threaten to put your account on collection be aware. Some review here on google are fake and their own employees post reviews to appear like a good company this is my personal experience

Unfortunately, I can’t give zero stars. My experience with Greenix was extremely disappointing. I contacted them to treat a roach problem in my home that I just purchased, and they insisted I purchase their “full treatment plan”—four weekly treatments at $100 each. They guaranteed that after completing the service, I would no longer see roaches activities. That promise was completely false. Despite keeping my home spotless—no exposed food, no plumbing issues, and a consistently clean environment—I continued to see roach activity. When I called Greenix to report the issue, instead of honoring their guarantee, they demanded another $100 for each additional treatment. Pest control is about trust and results, and Greenix failed on both fronts. Perhaps other Greenix branches take responsibility for their clients, but the one I dealt with clearly does not. I don’t recommend their services if they don’t garantie the results. I should Save my money and look for a pest control company that values integrity, delivers results, and respects its customers.

I’m no professional, but these guys are the furthest thing from a rodent exterminator! Was quoted $500 and paid $100 upfront for this company to come out for a rat problem, and they did literally nothing. The technician showed up, asked where I saw activity, didn’t inspect a single part of my home, and just tossed a few empty mouse traps on the floor next to my fridge and stove. When I pointed out that I called about rats, not mice, he admitted he didn’t even have rat traps with him! He had to leave and took over an hour to come back. When he finally returned, he still didn’t set up the traps, telling me I’d have to wait until next week for someone else to do that. He also claimed he’d check the exterior for entry points and seal them — that never happened either. In the end, my landlord came out, found the entry point himself, sealed it properly, set traps, and caught a rat the same day. Meanwhile, I paid a professional who couldn’t even manage to bring the right tools. Total waste of money, time, and patience. Save yourself the headache and call literally any other company.

Absolute nightmare! Problems from day 1. The tech that 1st showed up claimed they don't do home inspections or analysis & tried telling me no one would've ever promised that. Which was stated on the front of the contract. He said they just drop boxes and leave. SO they lie about their services & policies to get you to sign up then make it impossible to leave their contract. They refuse to collect bait boxes from a house I no longer live at and expect me to pay to have it serviced for 6 more months. they won't honor the cancellation policy they sold and reassured me twice about over the phone. I was told no one would've promised me that- so AGAIN they just tell you what you want to hear and then screw you over. Now they're saying I'm actually not allowed to cancel. Shady as hell. I have already called your office and nothing was accomplished. I do not want to pay for your company to trespass on someone else's property for 6 months.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Buyer beware. We had to cancel our service due to an unexpected move. We wanted to transfer service to our new home but they don’t service that area. $250 to cancel. Unreal.

We contracted with Greenix Pest Control seven months ago to deal with a spider problem, and unfortunately, the issue has never been resolved. Just three weeks after the initial treatment, we had to call them back because spiders were still everywhere. We voiced our concerns early on and asked to cancel, but were persuaded to "give them another chance." We did—multiple times. Yet, the spider problem continued and we had to keep calling them to come back. Our most recent service was on June 11th. Three weeks later, we were still finding spiders and spider nests, especially in the basement where our out-of-town guests were going to sleep. I asked for emergency service and was told no one could come until the following week but that they wold escalate my request. No one botherd to contact me back. Meanwhile, my granddaughters arrived and found spiders in the basement bathroom and their bedroom. They were scared to go to sleep. While sitting in my upstairs living room, I noticed tiny black dots falling on me—turns out, it was baby spiders from a nest that had hatched under our coffee table. They were literally floating around the room. Desperate, I went to Walmart and spent $16 on a bottle of Home Defense spray. It worked immediately. In the five days since, I haven’t seen a single spider. Our biggest regret was signing a contract with Greenix. They continue to charge us for a service that clearly doesn’t work in our home and refuse to let us cancel. Save yourself the frustration of pleading to deaf ears. We would not recommend Greenix to anyone.

The tech that showed up was super nice and polite. Seemed to do his work in a timely manner. The reason for the 1 star is when the I talked to the tech I asked him to make sure he got the gates closed to the back yard. He assured me he would. I mentioned that they are kinda tricky to close. Again he reassured me that he would. A couple hours laterI let my dogs out back and luckily I walked out front and saw my dogs running down the street. If I wouldn't have walked out front who knows how far they would have gotten. If someone raises a concern and then is reassured that it would be taken care of. Make sure you take care of it. It takes 2 extra seconds to look at the gate and make sure it's latched. Do better.

The individuals I have spoken with or had come out to my house were polite and kind, but I was not impressed with the service provided or the communication. We chose Greenix because they undercut the price quotes we had gotten from other companies. They will go slightly below whatever you were quoted by another company to get your business, but I wish I hadn’t fallen for it. The service is minimal (compared to what our new company provides for the same price). It feels a bit like a scam to get your business and get you into a contract, and then provide subpar pest services and then make money off the $250 cancellation charge when you decide it’s better to take your business elsewhere. They also are very poor about communicating appointments or when a technician will show up. For my first appointment, I was told they would come around 10am. By 1pm nobody had showed up so I contacted them to find out I had been moved to the last appointment of the day (near 5pm). This change was not communicated and I had cleared my morning to be present for the appointment. They repeatedly ask for 5 star reviews after a service, and I was asked for one after the first time somebody came out. I am convinced that people leave 5 star reviews after they are asked with their first service appointment. The technicians are nice, so I think people comply and give the 5 star rating. At this point you have no idea whether the treatment they did has been effective. In my experience, the service was not thorough or effective, definitely not worth the 5 stars, and we have decided to switch companies. We are now with Pestworx and they have been head and shoulders above Greenix in all categories. They provide much more thorough and effective treatments, and their communication is top notch. If I were you, I’d recommend checking them out instead. It’s worth the money to have a better experience elsewhere.
RUNNNN from this company. I was tricked by the good reviews - maybe they pay people to lie for them I don’t know. Called to set up rodent services. Told the guy exactly what the issue was and that I needed them gone from my house. He could have someone come out the next day and I wouldn’t be charged anything until after the service. BUT I had to input my credit card information on their portal before he could schedule the appointment and he waited on the phone while I did it like I was a child. I was charged immediately. Whatever. Technician comes out. He was late but friendly. Says he can’t treat the inside of the house because I only set up an exterior plan. An interior plan would be $150!!!! Whatever I paid it and I thought we scheduled the next weeks service - same day and time. Next week comes and he’s a no call, no show. Sent him a text - nothing. I call the company the next day wanting to cancel. Service has been terrible and I felt deceived. They wanted to make it up by having someone come out as soon as possible. At this point, I’ll just call someone more reputable. OH and of course I get charged a $250 cancellation fee even after 1 week and terrible customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worse enemy.
