The quality of the workers are questionable and the service does not meet the standard of good lawn and snow removable care. The workers don't speak English and seem not to care. Any destruction to property is never their fault.

When your HOA board member toured your property with our account manager to review the area impacted, it was determined by your HOA that the damage was due to wood rot in the fence, not MW machinery. While we aim to provide the best experience we can for all parties we interact with, unfortunately we cannot honor every request that is made. Please not we took your request seriously, offering to meet with you and a member of the HOA on-site to review and receive feedback before ultimately coming to a mutually agreed upon decision. <br><br>I apologize again that your experience was not what you had hoped and wish you the happiest of holidays.

Have been super happy using MW after having them fix what my old mowing company had done to my lawn putting big ruts in it and leaving bare patches constantly. Irrigation, maintenance, mowing, all have been great. Jay Huke in particular and Blaine York (irrigation) have both been fabulous. Highly recommend.

Do NOT use this company. As a first time lawn owner, I was not informed about post aeration/seeding lawn care from the company so the end result did not meet our expectations. When we informed the company that things did not seem right, the MANAGER was dismissive, rude, finger-pointing, and completely unwilling to make it right. Do not trust this company; they just want your money. The communication is completely unprofessional.

I’m new to the area and recently reached out to this company for a quote on lawn fertilization and over-seeding. The pricing I received was absolutely outrageous. They quoted me $1,500 for just 50 lbs of grass seed — and to be clear, that was only to drop the seed on the lawn, with no labor. Aeration, which is typically part of any standard over-seeding service, was quoted separately at another $500. That’s $2,000 total for a job that’s commonly done for far less. Being unfamiliar with local pricing, I also got quotes from three other seemingly established and reputable landscaping companies, and all of them came in at two to three times less expensive — and that included complete packages with aeration, seed, and fertilization. I contacted the company’s office to ask for clarification, hoping there was some misunderstanding, but was met with complete apathy. No response, no explanation — just silence. That kind of indifference says a lot, especially to someone new to the area who’s trying to find honest, professional service providers. After speaking with my neighbor, he mentioned that most of the homeowner associations that used MW Lawn have since dropped them due to sloppy work and poor service. That confirmed everything I had already started to suspect — overpriced, unresponsive, and a reputation that’s clearly deteriorating. Bottom line: This company is either deliberately overcharging or completely out of touch with industry standards — or both. I won’t be hiring them, and I strongly urge anyone considering them to get multiple quotes and ask around. There are far better, more reputable, and reasonably priced options in the area.

MW is currently in it’s first year of working the account for my neighborhood. From my personal experience and statements from fellow residents in the neighborhood, the performance of MW has been a disappointment. Evidently they underbid everyone else and were awarded the contract with hopes they (MW) could secure a longer contract, etc. However, before the “services” even started there was an effort by MW to increase the cost. Unfortunately for some of the residents that have already had bad experiences with them, this low price contract seems to give MW the right to damage property and quite frankly do a poor quality job. Atleast that is what the account manager seems to believe. He was given the opportunity to correct mistakes that would have taken little time and cost to correct. However, it seems the main objective is not customer service or quality of work but rather....... 1. Make excuses and create senseless justifications to avoid making things right. 2. If there is any (not likely) willingness to actually make things right, it must be on his terms (cheaper than what was there before, different than what was there before, and whenever he feels like getting around to it). This is the modus operandi of MW’s account manager for my neighborhood. Maybe MW as a whole is not this bad, but the experience over the last several months I can only say the MW must stand for “Mostly Worthless”. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for lawn care.

I had my mulch delivered today. I set a tarp out. But the delivery driver missed half of it. Instead of a pile. It stretched down my driveway to the street. Blocking the sidewalk. I sent a note to the company (Brittney) and asked if they might make it right. They blamed it on my driveway but said that they would have a talk with their delivery driver and ask him to do better next time. They said that they had already gone above and beyond by moving my delivery date to a day that it wasn't supposed to rain. And that the situation was only temporary because the mulch would only be there as long as it took me to install it. They wished me good luck with the next company that I might choose to use. Sticking with Suburban or Mulch Mart. Some lessons to be learned there about customer service. Trying to get some of it in place tonight, but it's pretty buggy.
If you are looking for patio construction look elsewhere. From the beginning of our project the workmanship was poor and important steps were either not done or partially done. The owner offered to make repairs as long as he could break even on the repairs....

Update (7/9/19): After a talk with the owner (who initially asked me to remove my negative review before he would take further action to fix the issue but later agreed to handle the work to my satisfaction), their crew came out to rectify the issue. So far, the drain seems to be working and I do give credit to the company for trying to remedy the situation. Original post on 4/25/19: I made the mistake of hiring MW Lawn for grading work and french drain installation in 2017. The drain stopped working after a little over a year. I contacted them early this year for repairs. They did the work this past Monday. The work was sloppy and would not fix the problem of standing water in the yard since there were still low spots that they barely filled. The account manager/sales rep they sent to work with me is rude and belligerent. Seemed nice initially but had a terrible attitude when he came back yesterday to meet with me to go over the issues. I am unable to post my full review here due to the length, but you can find details in my Yelp review. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I plan to contact the owner and get resolution. I will post an update of the outcome.

My wife and I recently moved into a house that, we believe, had used MW Lawn and Landscape before. The previous owners left their card, so we hired them to come turn on the sprinkler system and run a few tests on the system. I took off a day of work to make our appointment work, but the people who were supposed to come never showed up. After about an hour I called the company to get an update, but the person who answered the phone said, and I quote, "Oh, I'm not going to be any help to you." Apparently, anyone who had any idea what was going on was "in a meeting" and was not willing to update me on why no one showed up to my house. After a couple of hours, I received a call saying that, apparently, the person who was supposed to come out had just gone AWOL over the last week and he was the ONLY person who knew how to do the job. I asked why I was never contacted, and I was told it was because they didn't have any of my information on file. I pointed out that they called me to have THIS conversation, to which the person I was talking to had no answer. Honestly, if it was possible to give 0 stars, I would. What a disaster.
