Zero stars. They go through so fast and they don’t care if they miss huge areas of grass. The area is uneven and looks terrible. Then they blow the grass clippings into my garden area and cover the flowers etc. Edging is messy and uneven. I tried to talk to them about it but they never responded. I had to email them to fire them because they wouldn’t return my calls.
We have been working with Aspen Lawn Care for the past 6 months. So far we are extremely pleased with their services! We had our sprinkler system winterized about a month ago, and they were able to get us scheduled with extremely short notice. Dylan Degroot assisted us with the shutdown, and he was fantastic to work with. During the process, he noticed a pipe on the side of our house was cracked (water backflow area), and there was quite a bit of standing water. Without his attention, this could have led to a major issue with the temps dropping quick! He helped explain the situation and put detailed notes on our file about action for next Spring when we are ready to get our system back up and running. 5 stars all around!

I have used Aspen for a number of years to start up, maintain and shut down my sprinkler system. Dylan let me know in advance of his arrival time, which gave me the time I needed to leave my work and let him in to access the control panel. He discussed the issues I am having with a few zones in my sprinkler system and let me know that the issues will be noted and addressed in the spring when my system is turned on. He was very prompt, efficient and professional. Highly recommend!

I have used Aspen for the past 17 years and have been pleased with their service, but have never written a review. However, I would like to especially acknowlege the young man who recently winterized by irrigation system, Dylan. He was punctual, very personable, and did an excellent job. If possible, I would like to request him in the future.

Dylan with Aspen was great. We had a water line freeze and break. Aspen and Dylan had it fixed very quickly and with a great, helpful attitude.

They never showed up for an appointment last year, 2024, then rescheduled and didn’t show up. I have asked them to remove me from their list and I just received a second notification that they are coming for a irrigation appointment and scheduled a time on their own and said I would be charged if I wasn’t available.

We have been very happy with Aspen Lawn Care! Our lawn became so lush and green in just a few months after hiring them. They over seeded our lawn this season and the results have been awesome. They come once a week to mow and trim and are thorough and fast! They even removed a ton fall leaves for us that accumulated on our landscaping and deck. We have also switched to using Aspen for our irrigation system. They repaired an issue for us in a very timely fashion and at a more affordable price than the company we had previously been using. Dylan D came out yesterday to winterize our irrigation system for us and did a great job! We are very happy to be working with Aspen. They are professional, affordable and the quality of their work is always top notch. We highly recommend them!

7:30 AM on Saturday and there crews are waking everyone up in the neighborhood with their lawn mowers. That's is beyond disrepectful. Aspen reponded but their excuse was they were playing "catch up" and "beat the rain"? Not acceptable. This points to their direspect for the neighbors of their customers. It's all about them. They could care less at the noise polution.

We have used this company for two seasons. The first season, last year, Aspen did a very good job. No complaints at all. Very positive experience. This second season, Aspen has been completely unreliable. Our mow schedule has been nonexistent, and we haven't been provided with any notice of delays or reschedules. Aspen just doesn't show up and then randomly shows up at a later date. Cannot know when to set sprinklers. Cannot properly water new sod. Had to do a call-back for weeds as the first application was not performed throughout the whole lawn and then surprisingly got fully charged for this call-back service. This is on top of paying a good bit more this season for mows compared with last season. We have called Aspen about these issues at least a half dozen times, and each time we are assured that Aspen will show up as scheduled and that the problem will be corrected. Has not happened. Latest example is this one. Aspen was supposed to perform its mow yesterday. Did not arrive and did not send any notice of non-arrival. Sprinkler tech shows up this morning and can't do his work because we informed him that the lawn would be mowed later today and we cannot have the grass soaked otherwise it will be damaged by the mowers. He understood and very politely agreed to come at 8 am tomorrow morning. Here we are now on Friday night and Aspen has not showed up. Which means the sprinkler tech will arrive early tomorrow morning, per our rescheduling, and soak the lawn, making it unable to be mowed without being damaged. Checked in with a manager about this issue before posting this review (after being invited to contact him earlier today if we continue to experience issues) and only by our outreach did we learn that Aspen will not be coming this evening. After being informed about the timing of the sprinkler work at 8 am tomorrow morning, the solution offered by Aspen was to come "first thing tomorrow morning" to mow, which of course does not work given when the lawn will be soaked. We are thoroughly disappointed.
I have used Aspen for a couple year with good results (trees, irrigation, etc...), but they have changed. This year they showed up and said I ordered a Fungicide treatment for my trees/bushes. I did not order the service and the person that showed up at my house with no heads up was here 2 minutes and charged me $107. He sprayed for less than 1 minute. I have Ring cameras around the entire house, and no one even walk around it. The person parked at my house at 8:46am, got out of their truck at 8:48am and left at 8:50am. Part of that 2 minutes was putting an Aspen sign in my yard. When I spoke to their office, they said they would refund the charges. I final got a refund after my 3rd attempt. This is after I had them work on my irrigation system last Fall and they charged me over $500 to replace 7 sprinkler heads. They really feel like they can take advantage of repeat/partner customers. I will no longer use Aspen for anything at my house because they cannot be trusted.

the company is awful in every thing they do for avignon..WE were told twice sprinkler turn on would start on Wednesday and were given a map of who would be first.. Started Monday afternoon I told man I wanted all the times for my zones to stay the same and he changed everyone of them Only area that is worse is snow removal

We hope that you are now satisfied with our clarification on irrigation start times, as it was all based on your communities specified changes to the start schedule. We have also notified our snow subcontractor and they will be more aware for the next event.
Unprofessional. Our appointment was rescheduled 3 different times without our knowledge. The first appointment they gave us a 4 hour window, which we stayed home for. After calling they told us they changed it to a week later. We get here and they reschedule us another week out. None of this information was emailed to us. They didn't call us or anything. Don't waste your time or money on this company.
Terrible customer experience. My appointment was rescheduled three separate times without sending a notification of any type. This wasted hours of my time, and I could never recommend this company to anyone.
This company feels that it is reasonable to mow lawns in a residential area at 0700 on a Saturday. I don’t get many opportunities to sleep in, so imagine my surprise when two lawnmowers come rumbling by at 7 in the morning on a Saturday. I would never think of mowing my yard in the morning any day of the week because I have neighbors that I care not to offend. I asked one of the workers why they are out so early in a residential area… he said “we are just mowing here, what do you want. So I called the office to talk to them. The office is closed for the weekend. I bet the office staff likes to sleep in on the weekends?!?
Please note: This is not for the actual service of lawn but customer care. Trying to find a new lawn place after using Heritage for 7 years and heard they were great. Called Friday morning no call back. Called Tuesday morning and still no call back. If you cannot even get a call back how good could the service be?
