Have had Owyhee for years now, and have always had good service, especially when unexpected events came up. One of my kids has extreme reactions to spider bites, and consistent treatment of our house has kept the bites down to almost nothing these last few years! Great customer service and responsiveness!

Ethan serviced my home for bugs and spiders and mice and lawn invasion. Old school high quality service with tremendous integrity. Ethan was very mindful of my garden and belongings. I really appreciated his character and his diligent and the pride he took in thoroughly completing the task at hand. I highly recommend!

Great to work with. I’m having a problem with wasps. They spent extra time spraying the fence where we think their nest is. I had bought some wasp traps from D&B and they hung them up for me! Great company!

Javin of Owyhee Environmental did a thorough job today with the Pest Control spider & bug spraying. We walked my property where he pointed out any concerns. He also placed a couple Rat traps, explaining to me how they work and that the traps are Kid & Pet friendly. He said he will come back in a week or two and check the traps, and if any Rats are present, he will dispose of them. I was impressed and have the feeling that I am in good hands with Javin, and with Owyhee Envionmental in general.

Just adding another 5 star review. Steve came to service our yard today. He was so courteous and thorough. We are so grateful for the great work they do. I highly recommend them. Service has always been exemplary. They are professional and considerate. We have expanded our service when mouse droppings were discovered by our garage. We have never had an issue. They are a small local business and we like supporting them. Our tech today was Jacob and he is awesome.

Good service at the home. Ethan is very attentive and remembers quirks about the property (and property owner). His attention to detail is 5 star. I cannot give a 5 star for full company, as I have had past issues with their accounting processes. The past couple times, has been better - but just cannot put the 5th star in quite yet. If you can trust "auto" payments - then you probably won't have any "issues". And again, Ethan is a good technician.

Used these guys for years but something changed. My house has been infested with spiders all year even though they've been coming to spray. The last visit they left our gate open and our new puppy could have run off and been lost. My wife called to express how upset we were and they transferred her to a "retention specialist". Instead of apologizing and dealing with the issue, they just kept offering us free stuff. It actually turned canceling our service into a major chore and pretty much guaranteed we'll never use them again. Not sure what's going on at Owyhee Environmental but they aren't what they used to be. I can't recommend them anymore.

JJ was great! Very thorough and informative. He talked me through the plan and made me good about bringing Owyhee Environmental on board to deal with our mouse problem.

11/ 2024 Thank you for another great service again today. JJ and his partner spent good and thorough job as usual! However the conducive conditions I will disagree with: I have no dumpster I have no trash, it's in proper bins and away from the house. I have no food storage outside. Other than that it's all good! Update: Was able to talk to Kevin about overages in billing. Very professional and kind but also made it seem like he was doing us a favor by not billing again until May, although should be June, for what we paid for.. It is $150 for the original first visit then it will be the normal amount each month. Just would have been nice to know the original amount would be for the first visit before we signed up and doing the math as it would be June for the next payment due but he is saying May. Not asking for any favors, just would have liked to get the services for the months we paid for. But it's OK. They did do a good pest service for the time. We just decided we won't be using their services any longer with the confusion and incorrect math. I wish them the best. 149 initial visit June 546.32÷11= 49.66 month for months July thru May so then June would be the actual next payment due just future reference. Update: They overcharged us several times and have said it was the $150 start up fee and then charged more. I'm shocked. We have been receiving pest control services from Owyhee for the past year. Their services have been very thorough. Mario is very professional but definitely didn't like the handling of the charges.

Still worthless

Rarely do I ever leave such bad reviews but this company clearly wasn’t clear with our payment plan! We had a gal sell us a great deal at the door then got it ever lowered some more by the owner which was great. We thought the payment plan was some we could financially keep up with but 2 months later when coming back they charged us wayyyy more then what we had agreed on. When calling to talk to the owner he wouldn’t agree to our payment plan and only wanted his money! They were charging us 100+ when no one was home to even let them in the back door to spray the main porch that we wanted. So upset with this company and the poor customer service that they have!!! Never again

Our doorbell was rang at 8:23PM by a salesman from Owyhee attempting to sell pest control. Our two babies were asleep, and when my wife answered the door with our now awake 1 month old in her arms, the salesman pressed forward in an attempt to sell. She kindly asked him to return at another time, and he said he would return later in the evening, which was obviously even more unacceptable. I would highly suggest to Owyhee that you not be making house calls after 6pm at night. It just isn't good form, and we may have been open to purchasing your services had it not been approached in this manner. That said, the Owner's last name is Killpack, so I can guarantee you he knows a thing or two about killing pests! Aloha.

Really did not appreciate the knocking on my door at 9:15pm trying to sell us pest control. If you're going to go door to door, maybe don't do it after people have kids in bed. If you're knocking on doors this late, I can't trust your judgement.

Jordan came to our house to sell his services, and was very pushy and rude to my wife. He also services "Tony" and "Jessica" in our neighborhood. I don't know anybody in my neighborhood by those names and neither does my wife. I'm leaving 1 star just because of his sales approach and rudeness towards my wife.
