Boise Tree - SavATree

We have used you guys for years. The quality has gone down hill. You charged by the hour, not by the job. There was tree missed that I told the estimator about. The worker said he would do it if he had enough time. I guess he didn't have enough time in the time allowed. A couple of bleeding hearts were damaged. Ken Smith

We would like to recommend everyone to add them to your bid list. Very knowledgeable and honest. Pricing is better than the others by far. The actual work is excellent! They definitely know what they are doing! Saved a large pine tree, just by taking out the extra-large branch that wasn't needed. It made the tree, top heavy and looked like it was leaning. After the arborist evaluated, took that out, you would never know it was there. Thank you. Looks normal and not leaning.

I am really happy with my service I received from SavaTree. The arborist was very knowledgeable and friendly (Sawyer). Connor who came to do the service was great at communicating and very friendly. Excellent services! Nice ,friendly and professional!! Will recommend them to anyone that wants to Save their trees! On the right is before, and after on the left! Removed damaged and dead branches! I now have a happy, healthy tree! Also did the deep kelp treatment for the roots! I did have one large branch break off after a storm, which is why it got trimmed, but it replaces branches quickly so it'll fill back in and it still shades my AC unit!

Sav a tree was able to get to my trees much quicker than they were originally scheduled. All the work was done while I was at work and the results were fantastic. The backyard tree especially has never looked so good. Will continue to use there services.

The following is my personal experience with this company. We have been receiving multiple promotional letters via USPS in the mail from SavATree Boise. When I called to let them know we are renters (aka 'current resident'), the owner would not see these and to please remove our address from their mailing list I was informed by the representative that she could not as this was a 'summer promotional' and that our address was most likely purchased. I was shocked to hear this as every other company I've dealt with has kindly accommodated my request. It should not matter that our address was purchased. If this company is helping so many of my neighbors already (per their claim) why can't they accept word of mouth references and/ or allow those in need to seek out their services? The irony of these wasteful mailings (hmm, where does paper come from again?) and their business name is not lost on me.

We hired this company to trim one tree and were shocked at the final cost about $1,600 for less than 3 hours of work, plus another $200 for fertilizer for a single tree. In hindsight, we should have gotten more quotes first, but we trusted the company’s recommendations and expertise. Unfortunately, when we later brought up our concerns about the pricing and quality of the work, we felt like we got the runaround instead of real answers. They had us talk to the arborist, which he obviously just mad excuses as to why they were there for a short time. To make matters worse, a large branch fell out of the tree just two days after the trimming was completed, which really made us question the quality of the job. The crew was polite, but overall we feel the service was overpriced and the results did not match what we paid for. I would not recommend this company. They take your money when the average tree job is about $800. I am giving 2 stars because I feel like i have to take some responsibility for not realizing that we were being taken advantage of when it came to pricing and quality of tree trimming. I just want other to know pur experience and how disappointed we are with this company. I would never recommend them to anyone. Also had to add, they broke a light on our garage and never replaced it.

Excellent service, professional, and did a great job. They coordinated all requirements for removing/reconnecting power from my house. They weren't our low bid but we decided to go with them because how they presented their proposal and listed everything they would take care of.

Tyler and team came out to remove a huge cottonwood tree that had died. It was HUGE. They took the tree down in one day and came back the next day and ground the stump. They did an amazing job! Brought lots of machinery and equipment but it didn’t even look like they were after they left except the tree was gone. I will recommend highly to anyone looking a tree removal services.

I took out 7 - 25 foot arborvatae and had them all in a huge pile. They came and chipped it all up and took it all away. Excellent service and wow did they clean up! Fantastic job! I will definitely use Boise SavATree again!

We had an excellent experience with Zack from Save A Tree. We were concerned about a tree that has a wound on it. He came over and looked at the tree and gave us great information. He is very knowledgeable. And he didn't try and upsell us anything. He just gave us the information that we needed. Excellent experience. Thank you, Zack!!!
