Well I'm dissatisfied with the service.They let you know what day they will be there but not the time. Showed up without notice did the outside which is not what I hired them for , I wanted the inside done. Sent me a bill and it was a total surprise that I wanted the inside done.Then I was scheduled for two weeks out on a warranty service. Ohhh, he left the gate wide open and my dog escaped because of this. Why would you not close a gate that was closed to begin with? Total disregard for the customer!

Gregory was nice and professional even with my dog yapping at him. He let me know about the pest control insulation they offer as well but wasn’t trying to overly push it. Definitely something I’ll be keeping in mind and going for when I have the opportunity so I appreciated it.

This service is terrible. They lock you into a payment plan, and it never works. I never delete anything. I deeply regret hiring this service. Please don't use it.

This company was extremely unprofessional and allowed emotions to interfere with proper business practices. I was quoted one price during the in-person visit, but received a completely different quote over the phone later on. The lack of consistency and transparency was very concerning. On top of that, the services I needed were not even within their area of expertise, which should have been disclosed upfront. Overall, this was a complete waste of both time and money, and I would not recommend their services!!!

If I can rate less than one star, I would do so. This company tell didn’t do what they promised and charge very expensive. When the agent came to our home to sell the service, we let him check the spider webs location on the top glass window above the regular window. He said there is no problem to reach it and if needed, they can use a ladder or a longer tool to reach them. However, they never did. They just use a non professional manual swiffer even weaker than what we have at home and just sweep gently around spider web location so 90% of the spider webs are still staying there after 3 services bimonthly. They charge over $170 each service for their 10 minutes walking around outside of my home occasionally swinging their weak manual swiffer on the outside windows. We were told that we can cancel the one year service at any time however they told us the cancellation fee will be several hundred dollars. My advise is please don’t use this company!!! I feel like they are kidnapping me until I pay the money they want. It’s so scary!!!

A young man came to my door, soliciting to use their service and I made it clear to him that I was not looking for a new Pest Control company. He was persistent and I decided to give him a chance. He also made it very clear that if I was not satisfied for any reason that I could cancel anytime. As I should’ve known the service was a scam. The first time they came they left the gate open when they knew we had dogs. The second time they came they didn’t remove any of the spiderwebs. We never saw any difference. I decided to cancel the service and when I did, they automatically charge my car $300 as a cancellation fee.

Kevin was supposed to service my home today however the estimated time for his arrival came and went with no sign of him or that anything was done. I never received a call, text or even a knock on the door that he was there but when I checked the service tracker it said the work was complete even though the inside of my house was never treated and there was no evidence the outside was treated.

Editing my review: I thought this was a great pest control company but following the first visit, each subsequent visit has gone down hill. Have seen several roaches and spiders inside our house. Our latest service was done in the rain and I’m not even sure anyone actually did anything around our house since nobody was home. Tried calling to dispute the charge and didn’t get a call back. I am canceling my account on Monday. Our first time having Pest Control at our house. David was great! He was quick and efficient making sure every part of the house was completed, inside and out. He was also very friendly which is always a plus!

I wish I could give no star. 1 is too much! This place is very unprofessional! When the rep came to my home uninvited. I took the time to listen. He asked if I was having issues with spiders because there was a huge problem in the neighborhood. I said omg yes we are, because we’re seeing a lot of spiders. I informed the rep I will be moving next month. So I don’t any no agreement. He informed me that you can start the services to take care the issues while your here. And when you moved you have the open to take it with you or cancel. I said ok. Today October 20, 2025. I call them up because I got my closing date today which is Nov 21st. I called to tell them that I want to cancel because I’m moving next month. Now they are telling me me I have to continue to pay or pay an early termination fee of $399. Do not trust this place. The reps tell you anything to get the goals for that day. DONT TRUST THEM. They forces the technicians. To ask you to leave a review. Because they have so many bad review about how they do business. My former review below still stands. Cause David was a very parent super nice and helpful. He just works for a terrible company!!! They don’t care about humanity it’s all about the $$ David was super patient with me. Came on time, educated me and knock my service out. He was very professional and helpful!

It doesn’t give me the option to give zero stars, I had a sale rep come to my house on a Sunday and was so pushy and insistent. I told him I had family over I didn’t have time not wanting to be rude but he kept insisting, I told him I wanted a 1 time service he said it would be $179. He also sold me on spraying 6feet from ground of my foundation all around the house and on my lawn. He never mention I would be stuck to a contract of biomonthly for $179 each time. I never signed any contract and I have proof the contract they showed me is not my signature. After reading all their reviews I would not doubt the sales rep sign that contract. I have cameras in my home, when ow of the techs came out he only removed a couple spider webs and did not spray anything at all. I called left a complaint they sent another tech a few days later just for him to tell us that the sales rep didn’t sell us what they offer that they only did 3feet around perimeter.. so I told them I was not satisfied and they sold me something and didn’t provide what the rep sold. After a month goes by I get an email of an upcoming visit that I had no idea of. I called told them I did not sign up for that service and that I was also not satisfied. Spoke to someone from headquarters and he refused to cancel my contract that it I would cancel I needed to pay over $800 dollars for something I did t sign up for???!!! Ridiculous. He said the only thing he would do was lower it to $149. A tech came out today and told me he had read the notes and didn’t agree with what they where doing that I should be able to cancel something I did not want nor something they sold but didn’t do it. Also mention that their sales reps are scams. Be careful and don’t buy services with them. They are ridiculous and if they don’t cancel I will have to get my attorney for them signing something I didn’t agree to. They already wasted so much time from me and patience

Moxie Pest Control will not stop harassing our neighborhood. Their rep, John Whalen, has come to my door multiple times, even after I told him clearly that soliciting is not allowed and that we feel harassed. His response? “Oh you have a nice neighborhood, that’s why I keep coming back” — and he openly admitted he isn’t going to stop. That is beyond rude and unprofessional. He rang my doorbell twice in one week, then disregarded everything I said, hopped on his scooter, and rode off. Now he’s back again after promising it was only “twice a year.” This is completely disrespectful to homeowners’ wishes and boundaries. If this is how Moxie runs their business, I would never trust them to service my home.

Salesperson will knock on your door, telling all the benefits and services they will provide, don't believe them. I had service with them for more than 4 months and I have a new wasp nest right below my roof (not mentioning roaches, centipedes, and other insects in my house). When I called to cancel the service for the lack of result, they charged me with $299 for early termination fee which I wasn't even aware of. I made a mistake by being naive and not being careful to review the terms, but the way salesperson approaches you, saying "we are coming out to your area soon for the job and if you sign up today we will give you x% of discount", is the way they get you signed up and get you locked in to their contract. When you see salesperson at your door rushing you to sign up for the service, just be careful and make sure you read all the terms and send them home before paying them right away.
