I was greatly put at ease for the direction I have no choice but to enter into. Freddy was kind, courteous and fully available to listen and answer any of my questions. Why long-term you ask? I will be utilizing their professional care at our next Apartment Home for a pre-inspection, etc.; to never, ever have to go through this kind-of-a-thing again. Can I get an amen?!

In September 2025, I hired Essential Pest Control to work at my residence at REMOVEDI wanted them to check out my attic and ensure that there were no rodents there. I asked them to make sure the attic was free of droppings or any other indication of rodent activity. I also instructed them to cover all of the bird holes in our eaves that were either missing mesh covers or had damaged mesh covers so that no rodents could enter. My home had been sold, but had not yet closed and this work was necessary before the home sale could be completed. On three occasions, someone came out from Essential and looked in our attic. After the third visit, I was told the attic was completely rodent free. They also came out and put wired mesh on 11 bird holes. Unfortunately, none of the work that Essential did was accceptable and led to problems with my home sale. During the final walk through of our home, the new homeowners discovered mouse droppings and a dead mouse when they looked in the attic. This was just a few days after I had been told the attic was completely rodent free. I also found out that there were between 35-40 bird holes that had not been covered that were either completely missing mesh screens or had damaged screens. I had already moved to Oregon at this time, but my realtor verified this information for me. The new homeowners wanted to back out of the home sale at this point, but my realtor was able to hire someone else to come out and do the work that Essential had been hired to do. Fortunately, my realtor was able to save the sale. Essential wants to charge me $475 even though they never completed the job they had been hired to do. I've called on several occasions to resolve the issue, but still have not talked to an owner as I have requested. Yesterday I finally spoke to a manager, Damian, who offered to cut the bill in half. I do not feel I should have to pay anything as Essential did not do the job for which they were hired.

We have used Essential Pest Control for about 2 years. Our technician Trevor is always on time, communicative and kind. He genuinely seems to care about any problems we are having and addresses them quickly and in a non-invasive way. If we ever have questions, we feel heard by Trevor and the home office of Essential Pest Control. Such a wonderful company and technician. Thank you Trevor!

Joel re-installed one of the bait capsules that had been uprooted during the installation of underground wiring. He was friendly and reported that there was no termite activity.

We have been using Essential pest control (sentracon)outside for termites for the last eight years. I want to complement our technician. His name is Dalen, he is the nicest and most conscientious technician we have had. He was well repaired to inspect every termite trap and he cleaned and inspected each very carefully. I hope he stays with the company.
