Legacy Lawn and Landscape LLC

I had an appointment for a quote last fall and Nathan came out and said he would get something to me soon. I waited a few weeks and contacted him again via e-mail and phone message. Never heard back. I took a chance that he was maybe really busy last fall and contacted him first thing this spring. No contact has been made and I still have no quote and a project I am needing help with. Very unprofessional. Feb 2022 I had to edit my review, as there was no way to respond. This was 5 years ago that I wrote this review. The fact you don't remember me is no concern to me. You dropped the ball 5 years ago. And I wrote an honest review! If you are under new management and would like a chance to redeem your review rating...... Maybe offer to give me an estimate on lawn mowing, fertilization, or tree trimming, as I am in need of all of that. IF you follow through, I will remove my 1 star rating! 3/6/22 No response from my resent post, so I am still rating this business at 1 star or less.

We bought a new home and needed a landscape installed. Legacy gave me the best deal and was early to the jobsite which was great. He was very professional, and the lawn turned out great. They installed a new vinyl fence, graded out the lawn and installed an irrigation system. After a couple of months, we had them come back and install plants from their nursery and sod the lawn areas. They have discounted pricing on nursery stock since they are grown in house. I highly recommend them for any landscaping job you may have.

We had Legacy move our fence, lay sod and install sprinklers. The work went OK, but the communication was bad from the start. They didn't install the drip lines because it was "too hot to add plants". Saying they'd be back when the heat broke. That was the last I saw of them. They quickly respond to texts, promising to "be out in two weeks" or "put you on the schedule", but nothing. Weeds started growing in the sod and the flower beds (they had put in weed barrier and rock). I asked about the right weed killer and was told he'd bring some the next day - nothing. Then, late fall came and I wanted to get the sprinklers blown out (winterized). I got "it's too early", I'll "be out in two weeks" or "put you on the schedule", but nothing, again. I'll admit, I let it slide for a few weeks since my last text - today I got "It's too late for blow outs, turn off the water valve and pack insulation in the valve boxes." The sprinklers work well (assuming they survive the winter), the yard looks OK, and the fence is in good shape. That's why it's 2 stars instead of 1. But, even by Tri-Cities standards of customer service (a low bar), Legacy's customer service is bad.

I contacted Lagacy twice telling them I needed Arborvitaes planted. the first time I called I was given a quote & told he would be out in three weeks, never heard back so I decided to call again, I was told to text my email so he could send me a quote & again never heard back from them so I took my Business to Huesitos Landscaping.

They came out quickly to fix a leak which was very appreciated. Unfortunately, the job was not completed. I made two appointments to have the work completed and they were no call no show both times. When they returned on a day that wasn’t scheduled , the work was again left incomplete. Don’t waste your time.

Legacy Lawn & Landscaping created 4 beautiful block stairs with gorgeous iron railings in our large ~20% grade back yard in Aug. 2019. The crew was hardworking, talented, polite, skilled with block /stone landscaping, design/welding railing. Nate and crew were deferential to our aesthetic concerns with good creative ideas. They protected our gardens, vineyard, irrigation lines and covered hazardous excavations, cleaned site nightly, removing RR ties uphill for offsite disposal and transported 9,000lbs block + 2 yds gravel down 20-30' elevation drop with the Bobcat. Nate bid this project in Western WA 250mi. from his base. His prices were competitive and matched the value added to our backyard orchard, vineyard, and gardens. M.T.

Very unprofessional, Not quality job left it undone with ditches for days! Dogs got out onto a busy road from coves they made for the sprinkler line and left completely undone. If your looking for a company at the moment to do a good quick and honest job so DO NOT hire this company. It’s been 2 days, who knows how long this will last.

Absolutely excellent work by Nathan, Travis, and the rest of the crew. I had a large amount of sod replaced. Nathan worked in my job very quickly, crew showed up on time, completed the job as planned. They used fresh sod, crew was excellent to work with and knew their stuff. I only gave general direction and they did exactly what was needed. They even fixed a sprinkler as a bonus. Although I had them do a bit more than originally expected, Nathan charged me the original estimate. He checked midway to make sure his crew was performing well. These guys are great.

One year ago, we had sod installed by legacy lawn care in summer. At the moment, we complained about the new sod looked so dry and browning that certainly not a good sod. We was told by the guys saying the lawn would look fine after couple of weeks. No, that was not the case. We detected that the sod looked so bad at the time of installation. By now, after one year, the lawn appear to be under expectation. The owner nathan told us before, he purchased the sod just like the one in front yard that builder installed-Blue grass. He was a liar. The sod they installed for us are totally different, they are not premium grade, instead, they are low grade, cheaper grade and lousy sod, they just don't look good no matter how we take care of it. Untrustworthy guys to deal with! We thought it is very good and honest lawn care company, we was wrong. Regret to have them done the sod.

Have to give 1 star ,wish I could give 0,shady guy also has storage ,had my RV parked there got broken in to,he refused to take care of my loss,way to go !!!

Always helpful, timely and honest

I have used Nathan at Legacy Lawn and Landscape for several projects throughout the years. He has provided excellent service and a great finished product. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for lawn care or landscaping at their home!

Scheduled an appointment and waited all day for someone to show. No one showed or called to reschedule. Why trust a business who doesn't even honor appointment times or has the curtesy to call and reschedule with your money. Go somewhere else or use at your own risk. I would give 0 stars if there was an option.

I've known and have had Nate service my yard/s for 13 years; from UGS, sodding, curbing, landscaping and maintenance including weed prevention, fertilizing and mowing. I know no one that handles a strimmer like this guy. I would have no reservations highly recommending Legacy Lawn and Landscape. I've seen his stone and block wall projects as well as fence and patio installation. Add Legacy to bid your next project to see if it's within your budget and allow Nate to give you ideas you hadn't thought about. .

Nathan at Legacy Lawn & Landscape is awesome! Him and his crew took my gross, dirt and rock backyard and turned it into a beautiful back yard. They were quick and professional. I highly recommend Legacy Lawn and Landscape. I will absolutely use them again.

13 years of planting the wrong stuff in the wrong location, followed by a battle with back issues, and illness for the last 2 years, has ended for me today. Overgrown shrubs, Weeds like trees, all gone! out of several bids Nathan from Legacy Lawn and Landscape l was the only bidder who had a vision for what could be after taking most everything out. Within my budget! He & his crew, were prompt, courteous, knew what was going on, & I was updated for the next phases by text, which really worked for me. They worked long, hard, and fast. I look forward to using their services again & again. I didn't get everyone's name, but special thanks to Kevin & Marcus (sp?), who were here the most, of course Nathan, and the rest of the team who rescued me from underneath a pile of weeds, bad trees & junk

We had Legacy put in a new UGS system and lawn in our background. It was a pile of dirt before but now it looks great! They did a wonderful job! They did the job fast and within my budget. I would definitely use them again.
