Our family have had a rodent and insect plan for nearly a year, as well as a someone who came out to seal entry points for rats we reported hearing in our roof. All the months and upwards of thousands of dollars worth of spraying did nothing to deter the ants, but 2 $6 packs of Terro bait cleared them within about a month.
