I hired this company for their expertise on bed bug heat treatment. I waited 2 to 3 weeks for the appointment. They were late for the appointment so I called them. They fessed up that they had to cancel because of a problem with the heaters. I complained a lot and they came. I found out that the heaters was near Olympia and he was up north. I'm guessing he didn't want to drive 1 and half hours down south and come back up. It was really poor planning putting another heat treatment appointment back to back. Not planning the trip in between. An "individual fail" is a company fail. Poor planning everywhere and poor communication by management. To make matters worse, the technician didn't have all the tools for my apartment. They knew I lived in a tall apartment. Not a house. And didn't plan on heat insulators for the fire sprinklers. You are telling me they didn't know that this would come up?? I am the one who pointed out to the technician about the sprinklers. I had told them that I lived on the 6th level of the apartment. You mean to tell me that they didn't know apartment buildings have sprinklers? Poor planning everywhere. They offered to spray my apartment and promised 100% effectiveness in two appointments. After one week, I started getting bites again. They were coming back 3 weeks later. I CANCELLED THE NEXT APPOINTMENT BECAUSE THERE WAS *NO WORD IF THEY BOUGHT THE HEAT INSULATORS*. The office staff kept promising that they will communicate it to management. 9 days have passed since the 1st appointment and still no word. They said it could take 2 weeks for the heat insulators to be received. All they said is if they aren’t able to get them in time, they will spray again and have another appointment. No. Each time they come, I have to prepare my apartment so chemicals aren't sprayed where its not supposed to be. These are toxic. Then I have to clean the floors and some fabrics that the chemicals went to so I don't touch it. These chemicals are neurotoxins. There is no way I am touching them. Then another appointment for heating will need me to remove any flammable or electronics with batteries or they will be damaged by the heat. I canceled the 2nd treatment three weeks later because they couldn't tell me if they had ordered the heat insulators. I knew that if the insulators didn't come in time, then I would have to upend my life again another 3 weeks. After 9 days, there was no word from management. Their unpreparedness and failure in the first appointment and unreliability and poor communication 9 days later tell me that this company is either poorly managed or maliciously managed. Looking at previews reviews. It is a continuing problem for them. Poor communication and unpreparedness. DO NOT HIRE THEM. I am so disappointed. I had to prepare my place for a heat treatment that didn't happen. NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY!

I am sorry we did not meet expectations. Here is some more information about the situation and why it didn't go as we all hoped.
1. The Bed Bug heaters are not stored in the work trucks. When a Heat treatment is scheduled, the technician needs to pick up the heaters from storage (or the previous treatment location) before going to the customer. In this case, the technician didn't check his schedule the day before, so he didn't plan on the extra time to go get the heaters. (individual fail)
2. This particular property is multifamily with a Sprinkler system. Super heating this space would potentially set off the sprinklers for the entire building. (This is nobody's fault. It's actually a good thing the technician noticed this detail and prevented a potential disaster). We were in the process of acquiring additional insulated protection for each sprinkler head when this customer cancelled.
3. I an effort to stop the biting, we offered an immediate chemical treatment. A thorough chemical treatment is effective in killing the adult bed bugs, but chemicals do not penetrate the eggs. Two chemical treatments are needed to fully exterminate bed bugs, with the second treatment being 20-30 days after the first. But this customer cancelled before the second treatment. Therefore, the bed bugs will persist.
4. We warranty the Bed bug treatments. If an additional treatment is needed, it would be a no additional cost.
5. The second Chemical treatment was on the calendar. We were preparing to come ready to do what I call a "combo" treatment. First spray, then turn on the heaters. But this customer decided he couldn't wait to complete the process he arranged.
6. Another potential issue is that the office staff have never worked as a pest control technician. They simply do not have the experience to understand every detail.
I highly recommend omni pest!! I have worked with several pest control companies in the past two years and Matt and his team are by far the best which is why I have switched to them. Matt and Zachary have both been to our home for carpenter ant issues and were professional, friendly, and had great communication. Matt and his team always have responded quickly to my messages, and they truly stand by their work and care about helping. They have scheduled us in same week when needed, and are great at explaining what we can do to prevent further issues with various pests. We will be switching our rodent care to them after seeing how excellently they have assisted us with carpenter ants. Five stars!
I had a mouse come up through the grate in the front room in the evening. I contacted them in the evening and they came out to the house by the next morning. Tyson seemed knowledgeable about mice and did everything expected to take care of the situation. He showed up on time, listened and was respectful of the house. He booked an appointment for the following week to check the traps. He was late and I had to call the office to find out the ETA. This week he was supposed to come back and pick up the remaining traps and finalize the project. There was no contact from the office as to his arrival time. I called the office and it turns out he was sick, but they didn't call. I was waiting at the house!!!Don't hire this company! Their customer service is unreliable!

I apologize the communication did not meet your expectations. However, you reached out to us in the evening, after hours and we still were able to solve your rodent problem the very next day. That seems pretty amazing to me.
You have a point, we should have called. We are scrambling to get to as many customers as possible when we are down a technician, and we were already booked solid.
What matters most is whether or not you are still seeing mice inside your house.
Dispute this review, we will continue to follow up to make sure the mice cannot get inside your home.
Matt is great! We had some woodpeckers damaging our siding, and he came out twice to make sure the problem went away. Great communication and very punctual. Definitely recommend them for any pest issues!!

Thank you.
We have had Matt come out to service our home for the past few years. He has always been kind, accommodating, and done great service. We originally had him come out when we suddenly had an influx of ants in our basement. It only took one treatment and they were all gone. We continued to have him come out to treat for spiders, and honestly I think I would have lost my mind by now without him. I'm terrified of spiders and his prompt service always helps keep them at bay. Any time we see more spiders around the house than usual we text him and he comes out within a few days to make sure things are taken care of. He has hired employees since we first started having him come out, and they have been wonderful as well. I highly recommend them!
I agreed with the bad reviews. Owner has been such a pain to reach. I also started the quarterly service. It is true the phone number is a Google Voice number *red flag* - Have called multiple times, left voicemails and even sent emails. It’s been months and I’m yet to get a response.

Yes. There has been difficulty in communication. My wife passed away and I have not adequately replaced her contrabutions as office manager. I am still excellent at solving pest problems, but I simply cannot keep up with the numerous phone and email messages I receive each day. I hope to have this solved soon.
Started a quarterly service plan. They came out once. After I paid the second invoice they never showed up. No calls or emails returned. Look elsewhere.

Your property was serviced January 4th, and serviced again on April 20th. You are scheduled again the week of June 27th.
You only paid for the April service.
I apologize that your messages were not returned. If there is a pest issue, we'll make time for you next week.
Red flags that in retrospect I should've noted: 1) Their address is inside an apartment complex 2) Thier phone number is a Google VoIP number 3) How far apart time-wise their reviews are What happened: I scheduled a pest control appointment with them over phone for 8 am. No one ever showed up and they simply rejected my calls and never even contacted me. Since they open at 8am, I was sure they are not stuck with another customer before me and was just thinking they overslept! But no, they did not care or honor their appointment or job. This is as uneprofessional as a "business" gets if they are in fact a "business". Do yourself a favor and save yourself a headache and stay as far away from this place as you can. Honestly, there is a big chance they are just a scam. UPDATE: Just read this guy's response! He accepted the job from my property management company, gave me his first availability which was in 24 hours, decided to not show up for whatever illogical reasons he says despite him being fully aware of those, and didn't even have the slightest decency to give a notice that he won't show up, and elected to hide and not answer our calls! I took the day off work to stay home to take care of this and kept waiting for a couple of hours. You should be ashamed of yourself for running such a practice sir, for shame.
Response from OMNI Home and Pest Services
1. The person who contacted us for the job is not the property owner.
2. They wanted a third party to pay for the job. This third party has lots of steps and requirements for detailed business information before authorizing payment.
3. They expected services performed immediately, before being officially set up with third party.
4. They did not leave and messages.
5. This review is anonymous.
Look. Once we are set up with the third party, and are confident we will be paid, we will gladly rid the residence of bugs. Or you can go with another vendor if you cannot wait. We are very effective in pest control. We just don't want to be scammed into doing jobs without compensation.
I was pleased with their service. They responded to me on a Sunday (I had a wasp's nest inside my home, so it was a bit urgent), were out by Monday AM (I could book online), and they dealt with the issue professionally. Their cost was a bit (~$50) higher than some of the other places that got back to me on Monday, but I was happy to pay it to get the issue dealt with.
