For over three years, I paid for pest control services and never saw any real results. The pest problem remained the same, and only now I was told that this type of pest was not covered under the contract. I feel like I wasted my money and that there was a lack of transparency from the start. I would not recommend this service unless they clearly explain what is and isn’t included before you sign up.

My husband and I were recommended to reach out to this company for a general inspection for our home. The guy arrived and he stated he was going to text me the quote. A week passed by and never heard from the guy so I called the customer service line to see what’s the hold up. The nice lady stated he would call us back soon since he was in the field. Another week passed by and He hadn’t called us back. So I was irritated and called the customer service line again to complain about this inspector/technician. Another lady said she would pass along my message. He finally called hours later making an excuse saying he thought he texted the quote (he didn’t) and he would send it shortly. A few hours later, finally sent a quote and I texted back stating let me discuss this with my husband and I will get back with him. After discussing it with my husband, we agreed to proceed with the quote. I texted the inspector/technician back letting him know we were ready and please let us know when they could come by. This dude just liked my message. TIL this day, I haven’t heard from the guy and they lost our business for being so unprofessional!! We are taking our business elsewhere because I’m not going to constantly call and never receive a response from them.

He is thorough, listens to problems we’ve had since the last visit, & adjusts the treatment based on those issues (inside & outside). ALLEN is also good w/ dealing with our dogs. I purchased the termite and pest service over a month ago after I had termites and flying ants swarming inside my window. The technician told me that after 2 weeks I wouldn't see anymore. Well today they were swarming again. I tried calling the office numerous times but the phone would just hang up. I finally drove up to the off on Outland and showed them the picture. I immediately explained how I had this issue when I first go the service and what the technician told me. The lady in the office looked shocked at the photo. She explained that the phones were off. She said she would get Mr. James. She took my phone with her and showed him. Mr. James clearly didn't listen to my issue as I repeatedly had to say the same things. Twice he told me I should've I called when he clearly knows that their phones are off as I was told they sent everyone home as a result. Mr. James said that termites only swarm once and if they were to swarm again it would be unlikely and extremely rare. I said well you see the picture so clearly they have swarmed twice. He went on to say it was extremely unlikely that his technician would tell me that I wouldn't see termites again and he found it hard to believe and he was trying to be nice to me. I explained how he had contradicted himself and as a new customer I was very displeased with his responses especially when he said he was trying to be nice to me and he repeatedly said IF they swarmed as he was calling me a liar. He asked "What do you want me to do about this" and I replied send someone back out and he immediately said "I'm not doing that." The office lady was nice and so were the termite and pest technicians. Mr James was extremely rude, unprofessional and possibly racist. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Honestly, very disappointed in the professionalism here. Im purchasing a home and had them come out to do a termite inspection. I get there and the guy had already done the inspection and left, so we finish the actual home inspection and realize that we hadn't seen or heard from the termite guy. Our home inspector said that he left just before we showed up. No problem. So I call and ask for the report and was told that the guy had left early and didn't submit the report and that I would get a call on the following Monday to collect payment and for them to submit the report. Here it is an entire MONTH later and my realtor calls me looking for the report. So I call and speak to Lanier James who instead of actually seeking to solve the issue immediately becomes confrontational and offered no solution or help. I would NEVER recommend them. Regardless of the service they provide, if you don't look to make your mistakes right,you don't deserve referrals. Use Orrin or someone else to do your stuff at least you might get treated like an actual customer.

I have been their customer for 6 years. The previous 5 went by smoothly. But last year (2020) when I saw some roaches, their guys refused to come, saying I had to wait for the scheduled next service, which was months away. Then I wanted to cancel rest of their service, but they rudely tried to strongarm me into paying for more visits, saying I haven't had enough number of services in 2020. Give me a break. Their service is useful until you actually see bugs at your house. Then you will understand what I mean.

I had gotten bedbug treatment in April and was told that my bedbug problems were gone. After two weeks I still would wake up with bites from the bugs. I contacted James Pest Management and told them of the issue, they told me that they would send someone out and that they would also do a follow up. I never was contacted, I've reached out to the company via telephone and also Mr Rob who is the supervisor. I am still having this issue and I hate that James Pest Management talked me out of not going with Terminix.

Ms. Moore,<br><br>According to our records, your bed bug treatment was made on March 10, 2020 at 9:40 AM. A follow-up treatment was made March 24, 2020 at 1:57 PM. Your warranty was for thirty days, as your residence is an apartment with adjoining units. You did not choose an additional maintenance service program, which, under the circumstances with adjoining residences, would have been prudent.

I do not recommend this company at all especially if you have a deadline to turn in a contract. I cannot believe the lack of urgency and it was thoroughly explained we have to turn in repair request for a property my client plans to purchase. I was lied to and told I would be called so that could know the results and that did not happen I called back the next and was told well we passed the message. You incompetent MFS I have a deadline and your customer service is pathetic. I do not recommend ANY AGENTS in Memphis ever use this company.

I would give James Pest a 5 on every service except the mosquito service. I have been very disappointed this summer. I have tried my best to resolve the issue by speaking with management but when I call Marge is on the phone. She did call me back once and did a re-spray but then never sent anyone back out the next month. I have called again and instead of calling me back my service was canceled. I have had Mosquito Joe in the past and their customer service was excellent so I will be returning to them.

1. They don’t remind about upcoming service. They may leave a voicemail for formality but don’t follow up. I consider this as lack of taking the ownership to provide service. 2. I have some bathroom bugs. When I started service, I was told they would take care of these. In 2 months, the bugs came back. Service was due in another 1 month. I called for the worsening problem with bathroom spring bugs. They came and started doing the full service for full charge. I said why should I pay. They said then tell us what your problem is this time. I explained the spiders and bathroom bugs. Now they say, bath bugs are normal. They don’t bother. Why would someone not be bothered by bugs in their bathroom. They didn’t do anything abt it. Regarding spiders, they were asking me questions as if I was a criminal. How many, where, when etc. I am not going to continue service with James Pest control and would not recommend anyone either.

HORRIBLE! The owner, Lanier James has the biggest attitude problem. For one of our sister properties being one of his customers he sure doesn't understand customer service very well. He spoke to my Front Desk Agent very rudely even though she was accommodating to his 4 employees staying at our hotel. My Front Desk Agent was doing her job. There is no reason to be rude on the phone and hang up on her or myself. His answer was, "Well we were done talking and you can do that when you're rich." Wow.
