Herbi-Systems, a Memphis area lawn care company, was born in 1984 with two trucks, a typewriter, and a tank full of desire. Since those humble beginnings, we’ve added more than 30 up-to-date trucks, tripled our office space, and have become a leader in Mid-South turf management. Our mission remains the same: To be the best lawn care company — large or small — in the Memphis area and the Mid-South.

I have lived at this address for 42 years. Over the years, I had several lawn service companies. The BEST decision I ever made was when I called Herbi-Systems! My lawn has never looked so good! When herbi system Came out to treat my lawn it had a few areas that needed improvement such as bare spots and discoloration. I have been able to see a major difference this year with the treatments and the tech identifying when a re-treat was needed in between. Very great service.

Verry unhappy!!! Tried them once. They came and prayed my lawn one time with water obviously because ther was no difference in the weeds. They stayed the same color and didn't even try to die. I made them aware that I was unhappy and that their chemical mixture must have been mixed wrong because it had no effect on my lawn. I also told them that I would no pay for the one time service that did nothing at all. Well a year later they send it to collections for $256..... For one spray??? To hell with them!

Same weeds that were there when he came are still there two weeks later. I don’t think it was fertilized either. Also my ring camera didn’t even catch him walking in the yard. My parents also use Herbi and their grass doesn’t look good either. I also know someone that used to work there that said they were dishonest and just told them to mix water into something if they were running low on it so he quit. The first time I call to complain in the over ten years I’ve used them I got an attitude about it. She said “We wouldn’t say we did something and didn’t do it” when I mentioned he didn’t fertilize it and didn’t spray the weeds. Like she knows what he did. When the guy they’ve been sending has been arrested for filing false reports before. Haha. Girl bye. My yard has been looking worse and worse every year and I’ve used them over 10 years.

Good to new customers, but not so with their returning ones. Especially when you choose a year round bundle... For this comment, I used a fake internet name, and I am located in Germantown TN. I just wish to tell everyone don't stick too long with them. Because they will always use "rain" as an excuse. If there's no consecutive weeks without a rain, they will not come. So the weed grows drastically from a small bunch to covering almost the entire lawn. And when you call them, every time, EVERY TIME, it's like they are just realizing this as a new problem and trying to find someone to address it... Just don't work with them on the second or third year. I will see how they perform today, if they disappeared and make up excuses, then the rating will be down to one star, and I will try everything I can do cancel it. Second edit... Service without notice... Unlike the people who does a pest control, they would just show up and tell you to do the watering the lawn 24 hours later. We will not be around the next morning. And the person seems like, I don't care at all, I just appear and take the money. Doing everything in five minutes? Are you cheating? TBH, if you can, choose someone else. This year would be the last year we work with them.

Been using this service for decades and they never really did "killed my weeds" I asked Gemini and Grok AI what they are doing wrong. Both AI services gave me an excellent plan to take over the service myself. Herbi-Systems customer service seemed anxious for me to terminate contract because I had the gaul to say there were weeds on my lawn. I do not recommend this company.

Potential Customers BEWARE!!!!! Horrible company to deal with. Reached out to us for quoting services. We told them not interested. They repeatedly called 6 times in one morning and we had to block their number! Then 2 days later while I am at work my cameras pick up a person measuring our yard and helped himself to our backyard. He left the back gate wide open!! Our dogs got loose! When we called to complain the lady says nothing only "I will make a note of it". We told them from the beginning not interested and then you send a person to our house and TRESPASS in our backyard! ZERO permission to be on property! Seriously how in the world can you operate a business like this! Will definitely be filing complaints with BBB and potentially a trespass report with the police! Thank God our dogs did not get far! Absolutely nuts the sheer lack of care from customer service!

Their slogan is “Let me kill your weeds “ …well after a season of using them it is more like “Let me kill your lawn!” because that is what they did!! They would pull up , spend a few and I mean few minutes spraying stuff on my lawn and then leave a bill …and viola now I have a dead lawn ! Not at all happy!

I’ve been a customer for nearly two years at my new residence. October would be two years. To be brutally honest, I’ve probably spent ~$1500 in the two years with nothing to show for it. I kept holding out hope, hoping they would make it right but it honestly got worse as time went on. I called and complained 3-5 times and a technician would come out but it didn’t improve. See pictures for yourself. I have dozens more (and a video) but Google won’t let me upload more than this. Friendly staff though. I'm in the Atoka area by the way.

I'm a new customer and they've come out and sprayed my yard 3 times. This last time the guy did a rush job and did not even cover half of my yard. I literally watched him from my office because i work from home and said to myself that he didnt cover my entire yard. I then looked at all 5 of my cameras and after reviewing them it confirmed my initial thoughts. It's really surprising because nowadays people have cameras everywhere and can capture EVERYTHING.

I have a corner lot. I forgot to unlock my backyard gate so the technician left without doing any service at all. My son was at home and if the technician had rang the door bell or called me I could have had my son open the gate. It would have only taken seconds to do ether. I did not get a phone call from the technician to reschedule. I called the office to verify whether he sprayed my front or side yard and I was told he did not. I was eventually informed through email that the policy is the technician is not supposed to knock on the door or call. You spend the money and time to come to my home and can't take a few seconds to knock on the door or call to let me know you are there. Where is the exceptional customer service instead of hiding behind policies. Not the kind of service I would expect from Kenny Crenshaw's company after seeing him in commercials on TV for years.

Do NOT use this Company! After my initial Treatment, I called once a week for 3 weeks and asked them to respray my yard. I was on a Full Program, the person taking care of my yard was Kris. Each time I was told my yard did not need resprayed. Then my final call, 4th time, I was told it would be 5 weeks since they sprayed and next week they would fertilize. I asked them not to fertilize until they resprayed to kill my weeds. The next day the fertilized my yard. See the pictures after they fertilized! This company's promise is a joke!
