My husband and I purchased a home with a lot of rock & plant beds. It became overwhelming and out of control. Benson’s cleaned it up beautifully, and helped us decide what to keep and what to remove so it’d be more manageable for us. They arrived as scheduled, did a lot of work in just a couple days, and even took the time to walk us through how to maintain each remaining plant going forward.

My yard has never looked better! We are very happy with the fertilizing and weed control that they do for us. Chuck has been especially great to work with he seems to really care about all my needs and goes above and beyond!

The Fall application of fertilizer and weed control was applied this past Monday, Sept 15th., by Benson's Lawn Service. We appreciated the early AM arrival on that date and were promptly given a very professional explanation of what was being done that day by Chuck, before he started his work. He even provided some information on the Emerald Ash Borer that is affecting this area. We appreciated that. Our thanks to Benson's and their knowledgeable crew for helping our yard look its best this summer.

My 2nd summer with Benson’s and I think I’ve finally got a great lawn service. Chuck Stoner is my guy and he knows how to kill weeds and that makes me happy. My yard has never looked better. I am completely satisfied with Benson’s Lawncare and landscaping!!! For people like me, it’s very enjoyable to mow a nicely cared for lawn. I wouldn’t change a thing about their service!!!!!

We chose Benson's for the fertilizer and weed control program and could not be happier. Chuck did a great job explaining the program regarding the various applications applied throughout the season. We would recommend Bensons if you are looking for a weed free lawn.

Update: They truly know what it takes to enhance your lawn! Started this year out poorly with how little moisture we got over the winter. With their fertilizer we were able to get it green and growing like crazy!! They really know their stuff! Local and knowledgeable. Give them a call! Great company to work with in any project!

We have been very pleased with Benson’s since we started using them for lawn care last summer after switching from a different lawn company. Their online portal is easy to use, and any needed communication is replied to promptly. Pricing is competitive. Chuck stopped today for our regular application. He was very friendly and offered suggestions about improving our lawn quality through changes to our mowing habits. He pays great attention to details as he also noted that my vegetable garden needs some water on this hot day!

Really impressed with how professional the entire crew was with being on time, they kept the area clean, had well maintained equipment, the finished project turned out better than expected and they were very friendly! I would hands down recommend Benson’s and their crew for another project!

Two stars for the kind service of Stephanie and Chuck. Stephanie did her best to make appointments, but some things are beyond her control. However, I will not be working with this company again. Why? Adam didn't show up three times for me now. The first time he was supposed to come by and look at our landscaping and never showed. I called and set up another time for this to happen. Surprise--he didn't show up. It was a rainy day, so I understand things happen. I was told that he would be calling me. Okay, no big deal. But did he call me? No. Their fertilization service is streamlined and nice, and I loved how kind and informative Chuck was. However, that is not what we need right now. Anything to do with this mystery "Adam" I would avoid. I am all about transparency. If you cannot make an appointment, let me know. This is unacceptable. And this business will not do well if he is the one who is responsible for showing up.

A Benson’s Lawn and Landscaping vehicle cut in front of about 8 cars at McDonald’s drive thru. Would recommend a more professional business.

Called and spoke with them about getting a quote on some drainage work. Never got back to me.

Beyond unprofessional. Threatening and Harassing. Absolutely tore up my entire yard!

Not a customer and never will be after witnessing the owner lewdly and quite loudly scold his young male employees on a client's property. Vote this business for "Best in Sioux Falls" for unprofessionalism.

Are you kidding me with this great service and prices. I am a disabled veteran, I told him this at the beginning. I set up a time for them to come every two weeks. When I called because they didn't show up on the date we discussed he had an attitude with me. The very next week he shows up and does the lawn, and bills me. I understand that 45*2 is 90, however, that is all that I can afford. When I called to cancel this order he acted like a child and insulted me. Ok. Now it is November and I have not been able to make the payment because he only uses pay pal. Well the last time I used PayPal I was robbed for over 5k. Here's the deal I will pay the $90 that is owed in a money order. I would not have these people do any work for me because of this ordeal.

UPDATE: After I posted my review I was bullied by Adam of Benson's Lawn Care, He messaged me repeatedly on Google+ and was relentless that I remove my review. I am shocked a company would take sure extreme measures in trying to prevent others from seeing a bad review. Please do not use these individuals and more importantly don't review them poorly unless you are willing to get harassed at a completely unprofessional level.
