Called Twin Home Experts in North Charleston for a rat issue. They showed up the same day and handled it fast. Super professional team!

The owners care so much for their customers. We used them a couple years ago for insulation replacement and just called their other branch for our downtown house. Only company I trust out here

Trust your gut and pick this company. The other company in Charleston I would recommend for rodents, encapsulation, insulation replacement, etc….I was so appreciative of all that they did for me that I am now leaving a review on their second google page.

I can’t say enough good things about the Twin Home Experts team. We had squirrels nesting in our crawl space, and it was driving us crazy. They humanely removed the wildlife, repaired the entry points, and closed up the space to prevent it from happening again. Living downtown means critters are a constant battle, but now I feel confident they won’t be coming back.

After moving into my historic house in Charleston, I discovered signs of rodents in the attic. Twin Home Experts were prompt, professional, and so knowledgeable about how to handle older homes. I’m a homeowner in Mount Pleasant & had a pretty serious rodent issue last fall. We thought we had sealed up all the entry points ourselves, but the scratching kept coming back—mostly at night in the ceiling above our bedroom. After a few sleepless weeks, we called Twin Home Experts. What I appreciated was that they didn’t come in trying to sell us on a million things. They simply did a detailed inspection, explained what was really happening, and got to work. They stopped by today to check in because they were in the area and it’s been months since we’ve had any issues. That just shows how thorough these guys are.

I recently had the pleasure of using Twin Home Experts after discovering them through a Google search, and I must say, they lived up to their great reviews. Despite a busy office, the staff was incredibly kind and efficient in connecting me to their service department. I was pleasantly surprised when they were able to schedule a visit for the very next day to investigate the noise I was hearing in the gutters of my three-level home. With my concerns about something possibly running back and forth in the gutters, despite having gutter guards, I was eager for answers. During the thorough examination of my property, the technician Colton discovered some gaps in the gutter guard that could allow something to get in. He was diligent in his inspection, even going up into the attic to ensure that nothing had made its way inside. I truly appreciated his meticulous approach and professionalism throughout the process. Thankfully, he confirmed that nothing had entered my home, and his recommendation was to repair the gutter guard to prevent everything from entering the gutters. I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of service provided. Overall, my experience with Twin Home Experts was excellent, and I would happily recommend them to my family and friends!

We, too, live in a Charleston downtown home that is subject to periodic rodent visits. We contacted this business based on its prior reviews and we were not disappointed. Colton K., an owner of this business, was professional, punctual, thorough and a pleasure to work with. They cleared debris from my crawlspace, then sealed it, checked for rodent entry paths and implemented traps with video monitoring. So far, so good! Being near the water in Isle of Palms, we’ve had rats try to move into our crawl space every year. Normally we just throw down traps, but this time it got worse. We could hear them at night and started finding insulation in our air vents. I found Twin Home Experts through a Facebook group and decided to call. Justin came out and was super professional. He did a full walkthrough and  told us what he’d recommend. The whole process was smooth and way more thorough than anything we’d had done before. No more scratching, no more droppings. And they cleaned up after themselves too, which I really appreciated.

These guys found the entry point that the rats were using to get in one of my apartment buildings in under an hour. Very professional and fair priced work.

Our crawlspace in Isle of Palms was musty and constantly damp, and it was affecting the entire house. We hired Twin Home Experts for encapsulation, and it made a huge difference. They installed a vapor barrier, dehumidifier, and sealed everything beautifully. The air smells cleaner, and the humidity inside dropped noticeably. Professional crew, great communication, and high-quality work.

We found mold growing behind the drywall in our laundry room after a leak we didn’t catch right away. Twin Home Experts were incredibly professional. They contained the space and built a huge plastic barrier to protect the air quality because they had to open up the wall. They then took care of all the mold and placed big equipment in to take care of any leftover water. Thank you so much for all you have done for us!

I loved how detailed the inspection was. Colton checked the attic, crawlspace, vents, and even climbed onto the roof. He found gaps no other company had pointed out. They didn’t rush, and they gave me a full write-up with photos. It made it super easy to understand what needed fixing. Within two weeks, the noises were gone. I’ve never had a service this thorough and well-documented before. 100% recommend!

I never thought I’d be dealing with rats, but sure enough, we started hearing noises in the attic at night and found droppings in the garage. I called a few pest control companies and wasn’t super impressed until I found Twin Home Experts. Cameron came out and spent way more time than anyone else actually checking everything. He checked the attic, crawl space, roofline…pretty much every place he could look. He found a couple of spots where the rats were getting in that I’d never even thought about. They sealed it all up and set traps, and within a week or two, the noise stopped completely. After their “trapping phase,” we haven’t seen or heard anything.  Really happy with the whole process. The team was polite, explained things clearly, and didn’t try to oversell anything. Highly recommend if you’re dealing with this kind of issue.

We only stay at our Kiawah house a few times a year, so when we came back after a few months and saw signs of rats in the kitchen, we were pretty shocked. They’d gotten into a few cabinets and chewed through some of the pantry items. We called out the twins and had them check everything out. Colton and Jim were awesome. I was hearing noises in the walls at night for weeks. We tried setting some traps on our own, but it just wasn’t getting better. My neighbor had used Twin Home Experts and recommended them, so I gave them a call. Justin showed up and was super friendly and respectful. He did a full inspection and showed me a couple of places where the rats were getting in, including behind our AC unit and under the deck. I had no idea they could squeeze into such small spaces. They came back a few times to check remove the trapped rats and even cleaned up some of the mess in the attic. It’s been a few months now and everything’s been quiet. I’m just grateful we don’t have to deal with it anymore and that they took that stress away.

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but Twin Home Experts really impressed me. Victor and Daniel came out, and they were respectful, showed up on time, and didn’t treat us like just another number. They walked through the whole house, pointed out entry points, and gave us a fair quote for what had to be done. They cleaned the attic, sealed everything up, and got rid of the rats within two weeks. They even followed up a few weeks later just to make sure everything was holding up. This kind of customer service is hard to find these days.
