We loved Urbanex, until they were bought out by Massey. The techs were usually really friendly and efficient. The one time I was unhappy with a tech's behavior, I called management and asked that he not return and never saw him again. They treated the yard and the house and we saw far fewer flies and mosquitos than we did with Terminex. Icalled for an emergency spray, due to seeing scorpions when I have twin babies and they came right out. They were cheaper than bigger names and we've overall been more impressed. After Massey took over, they were far less effective and the price went up.
Due to the malpractice of this business we now have to spend over $1600 for termite treatment. We asked on multiple occasions for Urbanex to assess our home for termites when they came to do the typical pest control treatments. They claim they did, but we continually saw termite infants (currently due as well) and now have a major issue. Completely irresponsible and very frustrating. They did not do what they claim they do for servicing. If you plan to use them, expect nothing to change and will then have to pay more to correct their errors. DO NOT USE!
Bree came out within an hour of us signing up, and did a very thorough job. She was kind and knowledgeable, and made sure we understood the process and the company's commitment to quality and service.
The sales guy (Hunter) pushed for a ONE time service that would clean the spider webs, hornets nest, and spray preventative medicine for additional insects around my home (3ft up-3ft out). I advised I didn't have a any issues with insects but he advised me then it would be a preventative maintenance since everyone else on my block has done the service. The service in total took less then 10 minutes, which was initially suspicious but I didn't argue about it too much since the sales man stated he charged multiple neighbors around me $250 but sold me the service for $50 today only. He asked me to sign for a receipt and I called it a day. After a week or two I received a phone call about reoccurring service for $110 every other month. I was surprised because this was NEVER CLEARLY COMMUNICATED. I told them not to come out because the initial service has caused me to have multiple issues with ants and spiders in places I did not have before. When I called the office they advised I would only be able to cancel this 1 year service for a $270 fee. When I advised them those terms were not discussed in the initial service. They responded that they were not there upon the initial sale and would have the sales representative, Hunter who was a manger call me back. Hunter never called me. Now I am jumping through endless loops with condescending and repetitive customer service worker by the name of JW. JW advised he was the business owner even though online it's shows the Dallas location is owned by another person. JW eventually passed me on to another manager by the name of V that had nothing to do with my current problem. POINT IS DO NOT AGREE TO ANYTHING THESE CON-ARTIST HAVE TO SAY ESPECIALLY WHEN THE SERVICE IS NOT EFFECTIVE AND THEY BASICALLY WITH HOLD IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR A SALE!!
Man came door to door and had on shirt with emblem..Gave good spill and decided to try. Within 2 weeks had unusual insects inside house. Rare for me!! Especially since I already have exterminator. Next my bank account had unusual charges. Good bye urbanex
I had them scheduled to come inspect and not only did they NOT show up. When I called, I was told it was the Moore office and she was going to have them call me and they never once called me. I am in desperate need of a spray for bugs and this company disappointed me big time.
First off, they came to my door as a door to door salesman. I'm usually not open to conversation in this setting but I had just caught a mouse the week before and I know they don't travel alone but they were avoiding my traps. So Urbanex timing was on point. I'm glad I did talk to the salesman (who's name I can't remember now), he was very courteous and surprisingly knowledgeable, especially given that he was fairly new to the company but he answered all my questions without lingering, yet not rushed or with any pressure at all. Their prices were very reasonable and they had a technician in the area so I jumped in. The technician (Justin) was at my house w/in a half hour and was VERY thorough. He asked the right questions, went through my house inside and out and even caught a mouse in my basement before he left! Justin was fantastic, just the right mix of thorough, personable and surprisingly non-intrusive (for a job that requires your whole house being gone through). I felt he really knew what he was doing. And now I don't have to burn my house down. (Sorry mice it was either you or the house. House won).
Justin was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and professional. Covered all the concerning areas and found all the nests and then some. Great work.
Last year we used mosquito squad and the price was outrageous for the 3 minutes a month they were there. We decided not to repeat treatment this year until Tommy came to our front door and gave a very reasonable price. Upon him leaving Justin showed up about 10 minutes later and was very polite and professional. They took there time explaining and did not try to upswell anything. Great job done! Will recommend!
It's always a relief to know that Urbanex does my by monthly bug and spider prevention. When we first moved here we had a baby spider infestation,a year later a we have seen not one. I'm happy Thanks Rhonda and Jarrod

Justin and Caleb performed the pest control service that was scheduled. These young men are a pleasure to work with. Very courteous and professional.
Justin serviced our home today and he did a great job taking care to ask if we needed anything extra and even came in to spray the kitchen. He was concerned enough to tell us how to protect our dogs from the pesticide too. Great service!

I scheduled to do 1 treatment and they did a good job. But some how some way, the office thought I wanted to do the treatment agreement (they come out every 3 months) which I never even signed and I made it very clear I didn’t wanna do that. So three months later they decided to come out to my house again and trespass without my permission and still charged me 129$ and said if I didn’t pay it, it’s go to collections and hurt my credit. Whenever it was all 100% their fault. I do not recommend this company. AT ALL

Very unprofessional. The two guys that came to my house just kin of made their self at home and just hung out on my front porch for two hours. Even after going to other people’s house came back and sat on my porch. I think it was Jared and Octavian. After the “treated” my house and left I found out that they had sent all my information from signing up to someone else. I called them and they blamed me and said that I put my email in wrong. And instead of stopping and fixing it they just drove by and left the neighborhood.
I do not recommend this company. Called them out originally for ants and we were charged $130 on 4/14. Then we set up quarterly visits just for maintenance. We had been informed they would be out for a courtesy visit a few weeks later and after getting the email of the visit no one came and no one wrote to us besides the automated email. Then randomly another withdrawl happens for $129 this time on 6/1 but again…. There shouldn’t have been a charge based on original communication and the guy who came out the second time also randomly barely did anything and just said he needed to rush out because someone was coming to HIS house to fix the AC. Then I wake up this morning after my spouse called to get a refund for the $129 where nothing was done and now we are being charged AGAIN. We had ants back in the house in less than a week anyway so all in all I’ve been charged $388 worth of nothing. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m not rich and to just be taking our money shamelessly with no work done is garbage, dishonest, and shady. I want my $388 BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT. Use someone else because no one seems to care and money keeps being stolen out of my bank account.
The guy who came to the door was EXTREMELY pushy. He would not take no for an answer. I already told him 4 times, I have a company that I'm happy with. To finally get him to go away I said if you'd like to leave a card and if I end up being unhappy with who I'm currently using I'll call you. He informs me that he's out of cards, then proceeds to tell me that he wants to save himself time driving back out here. So continues to try and persuade me. I tell him 3 more times I'm not interested. I eventually just had to close the door in his face to get him to go away. I will make sure everyone I know does not use this company. I work from home and don't have time for people to come to my door and be pushy about selling their product. There is a difference between being a good salesman and being as annoying as the insect Invaders you're claiming to try to protect my house from.
The first time I used this company was a very good experience with Jordan. Even though I requested him, the 2nd treatment was done by someone else, and the ants were back in 2 days. Then they came and treated my property without my permission and have been calling trying to collect payment ever since. I would NOT use this company.,
The same thig happen to me, like Melissa- They did not tell me I had a one year contract they just said I would get a receipt thru my e-mail. We have so many spiders and bugs- I called to have them stopped - They told me I had to pay a $150 cancellation fee. One I was not aware of. The guy that came to the house to do the 2nd irrigation told me that the guy that had sold us this had been fired because of that - he was dishonest when he sold us the pest control for the house. This guy try to help us because he felt bad for us that we had been lied and ask me to call the next day and see what he could do for us, but when I called the next day" Bee" stated I had signed a contract ( one we where told WAS A RECEIPT) because they don't let you read just sign - after arguing with her she stated she would have the general manager call me, its been over a month - the general manager has not called, I just rcvd a text message stating they are coming to my place for another treatment, I called Bee again to ask WHY if I had asked why and why I never rcvd a call from the general manager, she told me he has been too busy to call etc- A MONTH TOO BUSY TO CALL!!!! 1- They lie about the contract, they DONT EVER MENTION THERE IS A CONTRACT! 2. They manager don't return calls like he should. 3. I have people that where with me that day that know what the sales person said that day and no where did he mention CONTRACT. 4. We have more insects than before. We also have pictures - took pictures have send pictures to them but never got a reply.
When I was initially approached and sold the service, I was not provided correct information about the contract. To get my business he gave me a discount to prevent him from coming back the next day, and then I come to find out that he will be back in the neighborhood the next day and will need to complete my service at that time. They "threw in "a flea and tick service for my yard and he basically guaranteed that with the service my dog would not have any challenges or even near flea collar, those were his words. Not only did I continue to have spiders in my home after the initial service, but my dog was still getting bit by fleas. They came out and did the service again, with a very nice gentleman and I expressed my frustration to him and he indicated that he would have the manager call me. The manager did call me, and we had a nice discussion my niche of service was refunded after I told him of the slew of events and the dishonesty that I experienced with the sales person, because there is more than this. And here I am approximately one month later still experiencing more spiders then I did with my previous service. What is written here is based off my personal opinion and my personal experience as to what I have witnessed as well as my family members.
