Well, they charged 3000.00 to remove a groundhog humanely. I told them he resides under the shed over and over and over again now. I could not afford to get the shed done as well. No no we will put up temporary fencing. We will make sure we catch him well. Low and behold for the 6th year in a row.... Right after they left my house today he was out and about. If you want a place that just charges you to throw metal onto your house because they know you're scared but not actually remove the problem with putting up temporary fencing. You can see my answer was to put windshield washer fluid in front of where he was coming out of. They guarantee me they would remove the groundhog guaranteed. Told me he was not getting out from under there, not with the rocks that they had piled up there. Ok. Going to the better Business bureau. If I don't hear from them by tomorrow, I'm not playing this game. They also kept wanting to pull their traps after putting them up February 1st. I think it was. Anybody knows that a groundhog hibernates which they told me they don't a simple Google search. You know, not that I know but Google does. Also, I'm sure that I'm going to smack me with the some people can't afford our services. I couldn't and chose not to do the shed. I chose to do what was economical and do under my patio, which will probably fall down before the defense does the dig defense, but I really wish I would have read, especially some of these. More recent reviews show that this company once had really excellent service and no longer does. Prove me wrong. Once you pay they truly don't care. I think again prove me wrong. $3,000 is a lot of money to me. Most people are on here complaining about much smaller amounts. I didn't try to haggle with you. I didn't try anything. I just said okay then we'll do this part. But you promised me that you would catch that groundhog I said I've lived here for 6 years and he lives under the shed. Told you that time and time and time and time again. I had to call you repeatedly to tell you that I'm sick of hearing myself saying I'm sure you are. I do not recommend this level of service. Please don't do it.

Edit: We originally left a 5 star review after the inspection because Mike was thorough and explained things clearly. Normally, we would have waited until service was complete, but they requested one after the inspection and all seemed well. However, our experience after that didn’t meet expectations. We called on March 4th for a raccoon in our attic and expected relatively quick action given we have a baby and a small dog at home. The inspection didn’t happen until 3/10, and we were quoted ~$2,000 total, $500 to remove an old bird nest that had been there for years and $1,500 for raccoon removal, sealing the roof entry point, and a 30-day warranty. We didn’t receive a quote for simply removing the raccoon. We agreed to move forward the next day (3/11) assuming someone would be out shortly thereafter to set a trap. But the trap wasn’t scheduled to be set until 3/23 due to their backlog. In the meantime, on 3/18, the raccoon became very active during the day (which was concerning since they are nocturnal and it sounded as if he was attempting to enter our living room), so we called for help. They came out that afternoon but only set the trap on the roof (which took ~5 minutes) and would not come inside to assess what was happening. Shortly after, the raccoon died somewhere in our attic. They came out again on the original appointment date to seal the entry point and remove the old bird nest but were unable to locate the dead raccoon. We were told that if the smell worsens, they can return to open walls to find it but for an additional fee, and without repairing the damage. So ultimately, we paid around $2,000, but the main service we wanted (raccoon removal) was not actually completed. We essentially only received the roof repair portion and removal of an old nest. We’re now dealing with a strong odor in the house from a raccoon that can’t be located (they’ve looked and we’ve looked). It was roughly 3 weeks from the day that we first called to the original date they scheduled to set the trap. Had the trap been set within a week or so, none of this would have happened. Unfortunate timing with the raccoon dying but certainly preventable at the same time. All of the employees we interacted with were polite and professional. The issue seems to be more with scheduling, process, and how situations like this are handled. If you’re considering this company, just be aware of the timelines and costs, especially if your situation is urgent. —— Original review: Mike was very thorough and explained everything clearly. We were pleasantly surprised to learn they do repair as well to help prevent this problem from happening again. We thought we were going to have to hire another company once this was done. But they can do it all which makes it easy on us. Really appreciate him coming out and helping us with our raccoon issue!

I called them on 2/3 when we discovered we had a bat in our house. They put us down for "emergency service" and charged us the $299 emergnecy fee (which I immediately paid). About an hour later two guys show up to remove the bat. Quick, simple removal-- took less than a minute to grab the little guy. The guy who caught the bat was in the house briefly, but while he was in their he told me he recommended that we get started on the rabies vaccine "just in case" in the meantime. But I'm no dummy-- I'm not taking a risk with my/my husband's/my kids' health, so of course I took his recommendation and called our doctors post bat removal. The second guy says I owe another $99 for the bat removal ($99/ animal removed), okay cool, I go ahead and pay that fee too. While he's standing there in my living room taking the payment we're talking about the bat and how it may have gotten into our house etc., I ask the guy how long it takes to get the bat tested. He responds saying we should hear something by Friday probably. Wonderful, I can deal with that. So I take my whole family that day to various ERs to get everyone started on the vaccine just in case the bat comes back positive for rabies. (If the bat is negative then we get to stop the treatment and we don't have to complete all four shots spread out over two weeks). Now it's Friday 2/6. Haven't heard anything back by late morning so I go ahead and give them a call because we're all due for our second shot on this day unless we get the negative test result back. I talked to Kim that morning (who was very nice btw), and she said she'd pass my message along to the guys. Soon afterwards I get a callback from a guy saying that the Health Department will contact us directly with the results. Understood. So I call the Health Department around 1pm (they close at 4pm and don't open again until Monday morning and I REALLY don't want to get the next set of shots). The Health Department says they don't have any record of a bat coming in from our address. That's weird. So I call Animal Remover back (Kim answers again, very polite lady), and she says that there's a chance they took the bat to a different health department and that she's going to reach out to the guys and see where they took it. Fast forward two hours later and they call my husband and tell him that "Your wife said she didn't want the bat tested. So we euthanized the bat and disposed of it." WHATTTTT. Now it's too late to test the bat. It's gone. The guy continues on saying that we didn't pay the "transportation fee" to have the bat tested (which was absolutely never mentioned to me). At this point I'm $400 into this ordeal and their saying I didn't pay an additional $249 fee for the testing. I'm already $400 into this thing, of course I want to finalize this weird chapter of our lives and confidently know that my family members are not going to die of rabies. Their argument is that I declined the $249 charge and instead chose to 1. Take my family to the ER four times over the next two weeks for our rabies shots and 2. Spend thousands in medical bills for the vaccines. After talking to the guy on the phone, he calls us back soon afterwards and says that the second guy (the one who actually removed the bat) confirmed the first guys story even though he wasn't in the house during our payment and conversations. I think they either didn't charge me up front for the testing, or the guy who took my second payment messed up and didn't relize they hadn't charged us for the "transportation fee." But it was VERY CLEAR that we needed that bat tested. Why would I have put Friday in my head as the day we would get the test results back? And why call me back Friday morning saying I'd hear directly from the Health Department? Somebody messed up on their end and they're gaslighting us into thinking we are the ones who are incorrect. Text messages between me/my mom/ sister explaining that we had to wait until Friday for the test results. If I had "declined" the testing, why would I be anxiously waiting for it to be Friday?
Provider response
We appreciate you sharing your experience. Emergency wildlife situations are understandably stressful, but the statements here do not reflect the full scope of the conversation that took place regarding testing procedures and fees. We follow established protocols and communicate options clearly at the time of service. We stand behind our team and our process.

I believe the reviews left are not authentic and do not represent our experience at all. While they were initially responsive once they received payment service was not effective, calls were left unanswered and technicians were unpredictable. They literally put traps in the middle of our roof no where near the entrances where the squirrels were gaining access. It was a total waste of money as they didn't follow through on the service contract. Not only did the traps look horrific they were not effective. No one called when we left messages and people would show up completely unannounced. Ultimately, we needed to hire another service to get results and have the squirrels removed. They were way over priced and ineffective. I DO NOT recommend this service at all.
Provider response
Hi Steffanie, this certainly does not reflect the level of service we aim to provide or the experience our customers typically receive. We take feedback like this very seriously and would truly appreciate the opportunity to understand exactly what happened, where we may have fallen short, and how we can make this right for you as quickly as possible. Please contact us directly at 513-324-9453 so we can review your service, address your concerns, and work toward a proper resolution.

John C. was on time for the diagnostic appointment and was able to locate the issue quickly. Provided me with multiple options for the animal removal and repair. He answered all my questions in a timely manner. Updates: in the beginning company was responsive. However after downpayment was paid. Did not show up or schedule when stated. Animal traps were incorrect. Multiple contact made on my part and it has been over a month with the issue unresolved. Frustrated with lack of communication and follow through. Would not recommend
Provider response
Thank you, Lauren, for your wonderful feedback! We're glad to hear that John C. was able to assist you effectively and provide you with the options you needed. Your satisfaction is our priority!

Tyler (mgr) took 22 hours to call me back.. after I left 4 messages with Debbie! Scheduled appointment with Brad..but Brad is on vacation? Who schedules appointment with you and then sends someone not familiar with your house! Service with Brad years ago was great but things have gone down hill with this other manager Tyler!
Provider response
Hi Lisbeth,

We’re sorry to hear about your recent experience and truly regret the frustration it caused. We understand how important consistent communication is and apologize for any confusion around scheduling. If there’s anything else you need, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at 513-324-9453

Contacted them for a hornet nest removal. I was quoted 249+tax. That is absolutely ridiculous for such a quick job. The only reason I reached out to a company is because it’s higher than I can reach so a ladder would be needed. I almost laughed out loud with that quote! I’ve removed countless nests in my lifetime, so that’ll just continue! The hospital bill would be cheaper if I fell off the ladder! Absolutely ridiculous. I hope a bunch of people aren’t getting scammed by this company. Edit: the company’s comment below just solidifies my review. Stating that I can’t “afford” their services. Very professional and I’m sure with that attitude you’ll go far! I can easily afford your services, but I also know when something is a rip off. And that’s you.
Provider response
We apologize. Not everyone can afford our services. Our pricing reflects the professionalism that we offer.

Do not use- Did not remove animal or set trap when they came out. We called Animal Removal because of a squirrel nest in our chimney. They wanted to sell us a new chimney cap (which is fine) but just took information an left. I expected traps to be set as advertised on their site. Apparently the logic is that it doesn't make sense to remove a pest if they can get back in. Well when a squirrel comes in your house, you want it gone immediately. Needless to say another company came out today, set up traps, told me he will check daily, relocate the squirrel, AND will keep another trap until the chimney cap is repaired! Don't waste your time like I did…
Provider response
Hi Stephanie,

Thank you for your feedback. Our goal is always to provide effective and long-term solutions to wildlife issues, which sometimes involve recommendations like chimney caps to prevent future problems.
We regret that our approach didn’t meet your expectations and appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

Sincerely,
Animal Remover Team
I had this company come out and remove a female Racoon and her babies from my garage they did a good job. They also stole my valuable baseball card collection. So I highly don't recommend them.
Provider response
This claim is absolutely ridiculous. We have no record of this name in our system.

Absolutely horrible. I signed up for their service for $808 for 2 weeks of putting 3- raccoon traps on my property. I thought the $808 was very expensive but I did not have time to get quotes from other companies. The two people who came out were not professional. They assured me that they would put out 3 traps. After I signed up, they stated that their "normal" truck was in service and they only had one trap, which was the wrong kind. They assured me that they would come back the next morning and put 3 proper traps in place. No one showed up, so i called the office 5 days later as I still didn't have the correct traps. I called to speak with a manager and after a 1 day wait I received a call from one of the technicians who came to my house, and stated he would bring out the 3 traps the next day. Please keep in mind that this $808 was for a "2 weeks service," which we have now lost 6 days out of the 14. They finally came out and brought 2 traps (not 3). After several days we caught 1 raccoon, then right at 14 days (they were very punctual about this), they picked up their 2 traps. I was very disappointed with their service. Again, I called for a manager and have still not received a call back. This company is a total ripoff and I strongly suggest that you don't use them at all.
Provider response
We are puzzled by your feedback and do not feel this review is an accurate representation of our service. We apologize for not meeting your expectations, although we are not sure what they were. We don’t commit to set a certain number of traps on the property. We did capture and promptly removed the raccoon as requested and value your satisfaction. We aim to provide professional service and invite you to contact us with any concerns. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Had originally scheduled an appointment last week, I received a confirmation email with the time and date of the appointment. Something came up and had to reschedule for this week. I added it to my calendar, but never received a confirmation email. When the time came for the appointment today, no one showed up. When I called the office, they had someone named Tyler call me back. When I explained the situation to him, he was defensive and offered me a refund (which is fine) but refused service all together moving forward. The biggest issue was when I asked about why we never got an appointment confirmation email, he said he didn't send one and that it isn't company policy to send one. Good luck if you're a working professional trying to coordinate time to be home for their 4-hour window.
Provider response
Hi Michael, thank you for taking time to leave feedback about your experience. We would like the opportunity to address your concerns. Please reach out to us directly at 513 324 9453 when you have a chance. Thank you, and we look forward to hearing from you.
