Called to have someone come out to give me a quote next day someone calls and says they will be out there that day. Great!!! No one showed gave it another day still no one showed when I called, I was told I was put back in the Que and not sure when someone would be out to even give me a quote, (really not even a time frame) if this is how you treat customers from the start, I will find another company.
Provider response
Wayne,<br><br>I don't know what else to say, other than - sometimes, circumstances arise that are beyond our span of control and we have to reschedule.

We reached out to this company requesting a quote for lawn services. They called this morning to follow up but we have not been able to get back to them. This afternoon, without notice, they showed up at our home. We have a baby and a "Please don't ring the doorbell, we have a sleeping baby" sign on our door, but the technician still rang the doorbell. Luckily our dogs were asleep and didn't notice or they would have barked like crazy and woken up our sleeping child. We were in meetings and unable to come to the door, but the technician started measure our lawn (i'm guessing for the quote) and even opened and went into our gated back yard. If our dogs were out back, this could have been a bad situation for us. I understand this might be needed for a quote, but showing up at someone's home and coming onto our property unannounced and without our consent is NOT okay. We will not proceed with this company since they already showed us they are not good at communicating or respecting our wishes for our home with a young baby and dogs.

Has gone downhill in the last couple of years, canceled my service. I've had Weedman servicing my lawn for 10+ years. Weed control, fertilization, occasional aeration and overseeding. For most of that time it was fine. But lately it has become terrible. In 2024, they started skipping a big chunk of our lawn. There is a pretty obvious boundary but they were stopping well short of it. After a couple of calls and complaints, they rescheduled a service. Then the next time it was skipped again. A manager came out and agreed that this was obvious and no reason for skipping it, took photos and said he'd update notes. The last service of 2025 they broke one of our lawn lights. Then a few months later they skipped chunks of it again for our first service in Feb 2026. So we've canceled.

Would not recommend!!! They will partially perform services and when they do perform the services its not fully completed. The management will always say they performed services even though you saw what they did. Always has an excuse.
Provider response
Jeremy,<br><br>Yes. We failed you. My apologies. That technician is no longer part of our team.
Aurelio
10/10 recommended! my lawn looks beautiful now. They did their best and I am happy with the service.
Provider response
Aurelio,<br><br>We definitely appreciate you and your patience as the transformation took place. I know it seemed rough in July (heat plays havoc on fescue), but it's coming along nicely. Thicker and thicker each year. Thank you for the review.
Hailie
I am new one with Weed and get an amazing service. My yard looks great now. Thanks Weedman
Provider response
Thank you for your review, Hallie. It was great getting to know you and see the progress on your lawn. New things to come.
Kourosh Darvishi
They did a great job. they did grass seeding with very professionally and the pricing was great.
Provider response
Kourosh,<br><br>Thank you or taking the time to post your review. It's great to see one of our long time customers voice their experience with us. Thank you for being the best part of our business (and day) and keeping the communication active.

Poor Service and inconsideration. This company came and put down a service and prior the the application, I spoke with their technician to make sure it would not affect me seeding. I called to have starter fertilizer put down (which they have failed every previous year to do despite my request, and I was informed that I should not seed for another 10-15 days. Most of my neighbors have already reseeded and I have reseeding scheduled for October 1 in 2x days. Everyone I know reseeds in late September and Early October. Why would you put this application down in Raleigh NC knowing the reseeding schedule. We have had multiple issues in the past and have not been satisfied for years. Year after year I have had issues with weeds taking over my lawn despite having their weed control service. This is clearly a lack of knowledge, incompetence, poor business and inconsiderate.
Provider response
Craig,<br><br>I'm sorry for the confusion. The Technician is correct. You are safe to aerate and seed. The person that you spoke with on the phone misunderstood the product being used. We use a product called Defendor on Cool Season (Fescue Lawns) like yours. <br><br>It's the same program that you've been on. The one that you had no problems with in the past. The product is safe on for lawns to be seeded as well as newly seeded lawns. We are aware of when aeration and seeding is done. You're good to seed and we can apply a service call fertilizer as needed. As Ricky explained to you on the phone, that was simply a misunderstanding on her part. <br><br>We're good on the fertilizer too. That's what your round 6 treatment is. Every year. The Round 6 is more than a starter fertilizer. It's an immediate boost to promote growth the of new seeds as well is the slow release over the next several weeks. We got you covered. <br><br>You're safe to Aerate and Seed. Your fertilizer is part of the program, every year. Thanks for being so understanding, to this very minor miscommunication.

Got rid of them after using for 3 years, spending over $2000/year, and getting bad results. Their guarantee says they will come back out if customer sees a problem. They didn’t. Even when paying for fungicide, my fescue got fungus. Cameras on my yard showed their technician did not come when they said he did. Another time a technician drug the hose across my plants, breaking limbs. I had that on camera. Owner told me I had army worms without coming to look. I had looked already and know what army worms are. When I told him it was fungus, his response “I’m just using common sense” (which was telling me I wasn’t). I switched to Super Sod Lawn Coach this year, am applying myself, and getting great results. Glad I got rid of Weed Man.
Provider response
John,<br><br>I'm truly sorry for that experience that you had. It is our policy when a customer has requested a service call or even a "looksee" to comply and do just that. I promise that was not the owner you spoke with and this issue has been addressed to my staff. You and I have had some great exchanges in the past and I hate to see you go. I wish you well with the lawn and everything else.

One of their sales people was unfortunately soliciting in our neighborhood. We ignored him ringing the doorbell, as any sane person does these days. I saw the flyer he left and discovered it was advertising mosquito control services. The guy left a mosquito spray ad, at a house with a very clear sign he walked past in the front yard that said "Spray Free Zone: Mosquito Sprays Kill Pollinators" (provided by Keep Durham Beautiful / Toxic Free NC). That's a classic example of 'not reading the room.' This isn't something I'd usually bother with reviewing, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity with this one since we were very obviously not the target market for their services and it was just a bad sales tactic to target a house who is obviously anti-toxic sprays that harm the pollinators. Updating my post to add (in response to their follow up): No, they do not respect no trespassing signs. We have one before they even make it to the door and they walked right past that sign in order to ring the doorbell. And organic does not always equal safe for pollinators. Any educated gardener knows that. As an organic gardener, there are some organic chemicals that I can only apply at certain times of the day when pollinators aren't out. I seriously doubt a lawn company is going to show up at 6 a.m. or 9 p.m. when pollinators aren't active in order to spray their 'organic' mosquito spray. Catty responses by owners tell you all you need to know about a business.
Provider response
Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry this bothered you. We have been engaged in door knocking campaigns in your area. We are respectful and follow the rules as far as "No Soliciting" laws are concerned. If there' s a "no soliciting" sign on a person's property or home, our team knows to leave them alone.<br><br>We recognize and respect that you promote the protection of pollinators. If you had given our team an opportunity to educate, you would have learned 2 things:<br>1) We offer more services than spraying<br>2) We also have and promote an organic mosquito treatment program that does not harm pollinators.<br><br>Update: again, I'm sorry that you feel the way you do. There is no malice in my response and certainly not "catty." We're simply informing readers of the review of the laws of our state. We also feel that it's responsibly and right to reply to someone that posts a review of our business. <br><br>If our doorknocker missed the "no trespassing sign," I certainly do apologize. If he or she chose to ignore it, then there are certainly disciplinary actions that will take place. It also is not my intent at informing you and readers of this review with misleading or erroneous information. We have treatments that do not harm pollinators, as well as not treating flowering plants. Timing is not the only solution. There are dunks, soaps, larvicides and many NEW alternatives.

Run so fast from this company. They completely killed the lawn in my front and backyard. Called and text company several times. Someone cane out from company and after two weeks, no action, no phone call, no follow up. My yard looks a complete disaster. I will update with photos in a few minutes. Don't walk, run from this company, unless you want to throw away your money
Provider response
Pamela,<br><br>You are not a customer of ours. I'm sorry to hear about the damage to your lawn.
Allison Hendrix
Used this company for many years and last year 2024 we requested aeration and they never scheduled us. Now we request aeration in May 2025 and they schedule us for a day in June, never show up and then schedule another day in June and again don’t show up. No call, no apology, nothing! They scheduled us for a third time but we decided to cancel and change to a more reliable company.
Provider response
Allison, <br><br>We're sorry that this warm season aeration scheduling has left a sour taste. We own the poor communication on this one. My sincerest apologies. I hope that the next company provides you and your lawn with the best. You deserve it. You're awesome and we failed you. I'm sorry. <br><br>Amanda will be reaching out to you to apologize and see what what can do to correct this mistake.
Carolyn Gilbert
0/10 would not recommend. Pictures are of their aeration service. They dragged a giant aeration machine across a wet lawn and created massive mud pits. Had I not gone out and asked what they were doing, they would have drove off and acted like this was normal. Still waiting on the supervisor to call back with any offer of a solution. (video would not upload, so last picture if a screen capture of the two techs stomping the mud pit in an attempt to cover up their work) (UPDATE - Weed Man is very active responding to comments on Yelp & Google with a unique idea of what happened. Regardless, after reviews have been posted they have offered a solution to fix their original work. These pictures are a reflection of their work. Decide for yourself if you would like this quality for your home).
Provider response
Mrs. Gilbert,<br><br>(Update: I must admit, I'm disappointed in the path that you've decided to take, however, we stand by our commitment. We will make sure that your lawn is better off than when we started and then cancel your account. I'm sorry that we couldn't work things out. We wish you well.)<br><br>We apologize for the error on your lawn. We did, however, speak to your husband yesterday immediately after the incident and discussed plans for repairs. Our technician had no intentions of leaving your property without plans for repairs. <br><br>The ground was wet. We run a risk whenever these situations arise: We can reschedule - which will make customers angry (see above) or we can proceed and run the risk of damage.<br><br>He opted to proceed and got his machine stuck. Upon getting stuck he immediately contacted his supervisor and explained that he had caused damage, was stuck and as a result would be causing more and that we would need to replace the sod. (That's why there was a second person there - he's the guy that came out to help the technician.) He did tamp down the ruts - not in an effort to hide anything (there's no hiding that damage - plus he had already contacted the office) - it's to keep puddles from forming and/or hardening in a rutted state. <br><br>After speaking to our technician, the manager of our Service Advisors called and spoke to your husband about plans for repairs. Then we contacted our rep at SuperSod and told them we'd bring them a sample of the lawn to order the replacement sod. The sod will be available to us at the end of the week and the repairs will be in place next week. <br><br>We are still working on what day that will be specifically. We've already worked out compensation on your account as well. Again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I'm confused about the no contact statement or offer of solution, but I hope that this will clear it up. We'll continue to work with you and your husband throughout the year. We always strive to leave things better than when we started and this is no exception. If we make a mistake or error, we correct it and then go the extra mile to make it better.. It will be and your patience is appreciated.

No customer service whatsoever. Read. Fine print future customers, they renew automatically. Verbal communications of not renewing does’nt exist. They don’t budge when it comes to customer satisfaction. You don’t get Call backs When do you have left messages to try to work out a situation, but they will call you when they want their money. Products aren’t that great either
Provider response
Keri,<br><br>Wrong location, Keri. I'm sorry that you have not had a good experience with your provider, but we are not your provider. We are not the franchise associated with your account/service. We encourage you to reach out to them and discuss your concerns. I'm certain that they will help provide an amicable solution.
Ken Matthews
I am a new customer and I am really impressed by the first service I received. They were on time and extremely professional. I had anther service for years and their service did nothing to stop the growth of weeds in my yard. After one trip by Weedman, the weeds are pretty much all gone and my lawn appears to be coming back to life. I understand this was the first service and many reviews report that the service goes down hill after a few years so I will stay on top of it.
Provider response
Mr. Matthews, thank you for the review. We appreciate the kind words. Our staff and technicians are great. We love ‘em. Our products and program work well. I would say that our biggest obstacle is proper education about what to expect.<br><br>Now that you’ve had your first treatment, all of the controllable weeds have died or are dying. Those dying/dead weeds are going to leave space in the soil that we want to be filled in with the root system of your grass. We put out a lot of fertilizer and that is going to help prepare the soil for new growth. UNFORTUNATELY, there are literally thousands of weed seeds that are laying dormant in your soil, just waiting for proper conditions to sprout. Now they will have plenty of nutrients (from the fertilizer) and all they lack is the right temperature (whether they are cool or warm season plants) and water. With the rains we've been having, you're going to see those dormant weed seeds start to sprout throughout the newly vacated soil. <br><br>Please, please, do not hesitate to call us when you see new weed growth popping up. Three weeks after any treatment, if you see new weeds or difficult to control weeds sticking around, let us know. We have free service calls for that very reason. Over time, with the pre-emergents and post-emergent weed treatments, your soil will have less and less weed seeds popping up. If you have a mowing service and they do not properly clean their mower between jobs, you may inherit some new weeds, but we’ll address them as they come. Eventually, we’ll reach a point wherein the grass fills in all of the vacant areas of the lawn. Our objective is to have your soil so full of thick, rich grass that there is no room for weeds to grow. <br><br>What you have experienced is the norm, I promise. We do ask that our customers communicate concerns to us - after all we see your lawn 7 times a year with the basic program - you see the lawn a lot more than that. Let us know of abnormalities and we'll address them.<br>Here are all of the things that can influence the health of your lawn:<br>Weed occupation – we can control 90%+ with basic program<br>Amount of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium – we can control with basic program<br>pH of the soil – we can control with basic program<br><br>Other things we can influence and help you control like: disease, insects, grubs, armyworms, aeration, moles, voles (we can provide those services or direct you to get the right products and teach you the proper application method). Then there’s proper mowing habits, proper water habits, too much shade, and so on. All of these things we can work with you to make adjustments when and where needed. <br><br>Then there are things that we have no influence or control over like: Too much rain, too little rain, not enough sunlight, temperature, hurricanes, and so on. Unfortunately, those are things that none of us can control and we do our best to adjust when necessary to correct damage caused by these events. <br><br>I know this is a lot. Really what I want to say is welcome aboard; thank you for your trust in us and the review. We will always be honest with you. We will own mistakes if and when we make them. We will do our best to keep you informed and treat you and your family with respect. We are a business. We do want to grow and be profitable, but not at the risk of doing anything to take advantage of or harm your lawn or our relationship. Our aim is to relieve you of the burden of creating healthy turf, so that you can enjoy the benefits that come from having a healthy, green & weed-free lawn. We appreciate your communication with us.

I’ve been a Weedman customer in Raleigh for over a year now. Initially, the service started out well. However, over the last 6 months it’s completely turned. After a year of service, my grass completely died. As the only neighbor on my street paying for lawn care, it was very frustrating to see my lawn as the only house without grass. I requested they just come as early to seed after signing up in the winter so I could have longer to get the roots down. It took many calls before they actually agreed and even then it wasn’t but a few days earlier than the year prior. Then, after seeding, there were places that just needed a bit more seed. They had told I could request more seed. When I called and asked, they said I’d have to drive to their warehouse to get it. Pretty awful service. The final straw was when I saw my invoice come through. They said they came and applied an application but I work from home and have cameras showing no one ever came. When I called, he first told me the gate was locked (untrue) and then told me it actually did look like the GPS on the truck never came. So they lied to me AND then they still never came back that day. Just really poor service so if you value customer service at all stay away from this company.
Provider response
Matthew,<br>Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience. I have to admit that I did find it a little interesting that you went right to us "lying" about what happened that day where your service was missed. No one lied about the locked gate. The technician went to what he thought was your house. He noted that the gate was locked. The person that you spoke to looked to see why the lawn wasn't treated and found that the technician had left that note. Upon further investigation we found that the technician had gone to the wrong location. He was not at your house. It was a mistake. We're good, but we are human. <br><br>Now regarding your service. We experienced very unusual weather this year. We had an unusual start to the summer with extreme dry heat followed by 3 tropical storms that drenched struggling lawns. Then the armyworms, the likes of which we haven't experienced in over 25 years - that destroyed the lawns of entire neighborhoods in only a few days. We started our aeration and seeding later than normal this year on purpose (to get rid of as many armyworms as we could and allow time for stability after those storms). We are really good at what we do. <br><br>We did our best to tend to all of these abnormalities; we changed which products got used and the altered timing of those applications. We purchased very expensive products that are normally used for special conditions in touch up areas and used them across the board to provide the best protection for existing (and new) turf, while still being able to address fall and winter weeds. We did our best to inform all of our customers of these conditions and you were included in all of these correspondences. We warned customers of the armyworm problem a full two weeks before they started attacking lawns in the area (because we communicate with an entire network of lawn care professionals from all over the country). Some customers opted to get treatments. Some did not. <br><br>About an hour and a half West of here we had people lose a lot more than their lawns. To think that we wouldn't experience some negative impact of these conditions is, quite frankly, unreasonable. But, regardless, I see that you account is still open, I will go ahead and cancel your account. You'll receive a confirmation email after Christmas.

Have been a customer for a few years at this branch and the Wilmington branch since before 2020. This year has been tough and unfortunately I won't be coming back been having issues with a ton of abnormal weeds showing up in my lawn this year and I believe weedman either didn't lay down their pre emergent this or year or didn't have the dosages set up correctly or something. I have attempted calling 3 times in the past month and haven't had anyone answer. First I want to start this off my saying I have cameras covering every angle of the property, I know what gets treated and what doesn't get treated. I know when someone shows up to treat and when someone doesn't show up to treat. I have video of what I'll mention below. I have video of the technician also not treating beyond my fence even though my property line and my turf goes well beyond the fence line. I've experienced property damage this year. Every property owners worst nightmare, to pay for a service only to have the contractor show total carelessness to the contents of the property. They stained my fence with their urea based liquid fertilizer and then didn't say anything about, I had to call them (it wasn't a little stain either it was stains inside and outside the fence like every three or four feet anywhere between 3 and 4.5 feet up on a 5 foot tall privacy fence) they did come out and clean it with oven cleaner and my garden hose which I wasn't to thrilled about given their history of property damage to my property thus far. Well after numerous trips back and forth to get more oven cleaner to clean my fence they managed to rip my hose spigot off my Hardie plank siding (that I had to find out for myself and then pay another contractor to come and rectify). I know it was them because the hose spigot in question was the one I utilize daily to water my flowering bushes and the one they decided to utilize to spray the fence free of the oven cleaner. If you were going to utilize my hose you should have utilized the one that was 150 feet long and on the opposite side of the house and you know is set up as a heavy duty hose not the 50 foot long fabric hose that is used to reach the front flower bed only. Still don't think you should have utilized my hoses anyways because you all have literal water tanks on the trucks and Im pretty sure I've seen you all carry Stihl SG 20 backpack sprayers as well. I have also been having issues with mushrooms this year, which at first I thought its probably because it's been so wet this year but noticed these are all forming in a ring. Oddly enough it's always where weedman parks their truck. Not sure if they are spilling over treating product their or what. The last time anyone from weedman has been on my property was to clean my fence, I didn't request to cancel my contract until today as to give them benefit of the doubt as the last time I had an issue they were decent to work with. This time I'm chosing to cancel because although they cleaned the fence I can't have someone on my property damaging my property and then I can't be paying for a service that isn't being utilized. I was charged for my monthly treatment last month and no service was conducted. Please consider all your options if considering weedman.
Provider response
Hi Patrick. Thanks for your review. There's a lot to unpack here, so lets get at it:<br><br>Firstly, you acknowledge that you've been a customer for awhile and this "year has been tough." Yes. That's a true statement. Record high temps and dry spells from May to the beginning of July followed by three tropical storm/hurricane rains. The lawns all over NC, SC and VA have suffered from these conditions. Almost all of our customers managed to figure out that this is abnormal, especially since we've been stressing how abnormal these conditions are. <br><br>1) Excess weeds. Claim that the pre-emergent wasn't applied or applied correctly. Patrick, let's talk about the pre-emergents and what they do. You seem to have some incorrect assumptions about this. The Pre-Em that you receive at the beginning of the year is: <br> a) specific to crabgrass<br> b) designed to wear off at the end of July / Beginning of August.<br><br>You didn't have any crabgrass issues prior to Mid-July. The treatment worked. It worked as designed. The excess of weeds that you experienced was due to a hot dry summer (which took a toll on the grass) and a very very wet August (you know.. when the pre-emergent is designed to breakdown) that caused some of the dormant weed seeds in your soil to sprout. <br><br>2) Calls: True, you may not have someone pick up when you call. Leave a message and we'll call back. We've had this discussion before. I still feel like there may still be some misunderstandings about that. I checked our records for the past month (35 days actually) and show no records of calls from your number, definitely no voicemail. We also have a texting service and email service (which you used often). We reply to EVERY voicemail left before 5PM - EVERY day before we go home. And, the following morning, we start with the voicemail left after 5PM the previous day. It's pretty tough for 1 message to slip through the cracks, but 3? No. <br><br>3) Treatment this month vs Billing: Prior to this review, you were on the Basic Treatment Plan which consists of 7 Treatments throughout the year. You were also on equal monthly billing. That means that you were billed a little bit each month, instead of the full treatment amount when the application was applied. <br><br>12 months = 12 bills. 7 treatments in 12 months means that 5 months you would receive a bill, but not get a treatment. You got billed in September and did not receive a treatment because you were on equal monthly billing.<br><br>4) "Stain on Fence." Finally, something that we can take responsibility for. Firstly, the stain on your fence was caused by IRON, not urea. The product Iron Out (which can be purchased anywhere from Walmart to AutoZone) was used to remove the stain. Our technician was instructed to use the water from one of the tanks to remove it and it would seem that the path of least resistance was chosen and your house hose was used. I will apologize for that and despite the termination of our relationship, I will offer to pay for the repairs of any damage caused by our crew. You can email us or call with details for payment / reimbursement. If you call, and no one picks up, please leave a message and we'll get back with you within 24 hours. <br><br>5)Mushrooms. Patrick, it's called a fairy ring. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairy_ring Look it up. It has zero to do with us, our treatments, our chemicals or our trucks. It occurs naturally, and as you will read, has been in nature since before Weed Man.<br><br>In summary, we can take ownership of 1 of the 5 items that you addressed in your review and only partial ownership of another (no voicemail - how do we know to call you?).
Clarence Hartman
Hired weed man to prepare yard for grass seeding in the Fall. Yard looks absolutely terrible after 3 treatment. Obviously no pre-emergent was added to bare areas. Called and no solution was provided to address the service issues, so I cancelled the service.
Provider response
Mr. Hartman,<br><br>The area that you are talking about is a natural area. That was not included in your square footage for treatments nor was it included in your billing - as such, we have not treated it. <br><br>There is no lawn there. *This was explained to you in more than one conversation.* We are a lawn care company. That area is not your lawn. Once there is turf there, we will treat it. If we were to treat that area, you would have a very very healthy stand of difficult to control weeds in healthy fertile soil. Again, this was explained to you. If you wanted to make that a part of your lawn, as we explained, we would have to:<br><br>Wait until late August, <br>Perform a kill-out in that area to take out all of the vegetation and root systems there. <br>Then Probably touch up the Kill out one to three more times. <br>Then after the kill-out was confirmed, we would aerate and seed it. <br>Then we would add that area to your treatment plan.<br>There is no positive result to treat that area with our program before there is turf in the soil. Our treatments would only make it more difficult to correct the area when you wanted to add turf to it.<br><br>We also explained how our Pre-Emergent works and it's timing. We purposely design our application of pre-emergents for fescue lawns to breakdown at the end of July. We want that! We do not want to have any residual product preventing the new grass seed from coming up during seeding.<br><br>We're good at what we do. Our program works and we do our best to try to educate our customers. Some people choose not to accept what we tell them. Compare this review to others. When we have a failure, we own it and do everything we can to fix it. We cannot and will not own this review. We wish you well and empathize with the next service that you choose.

Was told by a manager John on the phone today that you’ve got a 8% chance of getting someone to answer the phone there in the fall… nice. They agreed to one price on the phone for aeration / seeding and charged another… finally cancelled after almost 3 years.. whatever they spray doesn’t work long term. Totally unprofessional, my whole front yard was killed from ant hills and I was told it was on me to reach out to get that resolved. I would expect a service im paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars towards would at least attempt to be proactive and assist with this kind of stuff. Don’t use this company.
Provider response
Tanner,<br><br>Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience. I'm sorry that you felt that your experience with us was unprofessional. I can agree that John's comment to you was not professional, though I do understand that it was an attempt at humor on his part. I can see that it landed poorly with you. <br><br>As for the pricing on the phone, Richard quoted to you $395.00. You've said that we gave a different price. I believe that there may be some confusion on this topic. As he went over the pricing and the conditions of your lawn, there was some hesitation on your part. You asked why the price was higher this year and Richard went over the additional expenses with which we have been encumbered. You did agree to the price. I'd be glad to forward that recording to you. <br><br>Additionally, as for the army ants, they are a problem for customers and the mounds are unsightly, but they will not destroy a lawn. These can be identified by our technicians. When they are identified, our technicians let service advisors know, and they reach out to the customers to advise them. With that said, with the Basic Service, we see your lawn 7 times out of the year. You will see the lawn much more than that. This is why we explain (up front) that this is a partnership. We require your input. We ask that of all of our customers. It's unfortunate that we are not the right fit for you and wish you well moving forward. We'd be glad to help answer any questions you may have.<br><br>Follow-up Email to customer: 10/16/2023<br>"Mr. Johnson,<br><br>As I understand it, there has been some confusion as it relates to treatments on your lawn and more specifically the billing related to those treatments. As it has been relayed to me,, you feel that you were quoted a price for aeration and seeding and that price was not honored, and was overcharged by about $70.00.<br><br>We take these matters seriously and I will begin with letting you know that we will not be pursuing the $71.00 charge that you believe to be an oversight on our part. I hope that this information receives you well and helps to calm the matter at hand. <br><br>With that out of the way, I do feel, given the communications delivered to our staff and others (through social media and no doubt word of mouth) that we have been placed in a position wherein it is necessary to explain, if not defend what occurred. <br><br>I have attached the phone recording wherein the pricing for your aeration and seeding was agreed upon. I don't believe that there were any discrepancies there, though it was the concern of the staff that this was the point of miscommunication. <br><br>The $71.00 that you believe to be and overchanrge was actually for the Round 6 treatment of fertilizer and weed control. We use a very expensive product called Defender that does not harm fescue seeds, seedlings or grass. Your Round 6 treatment was applied in the same period as your aeration and seeding. So you would have had two bills:<br>1) Aeration and Seeding = $395.00<br>2) Round 6 Treatment = $71.00<br><br>I have attached a screenshot of your account, wherein you can see Round 6 and Aeration Seeding applications were performed and the amounts billed for said applications. <br><br>We have no intentions of cheating anyone or taking advantage of anyone or any situation. It is not how we do business or live our lives outside of work. Again, for the sake of peacekeeping, I've removed the $71.00 payment due for the completion of Round 6 and our staff closed your account. I hope that you find a company that is a good fit for you. We wish you well. <br><br>Best,<br>Your Weed Man Team"

They only reason I gave 1 star is because I can't give lower. I had used "Weed Man" for 7 years. 2 years ago my lawn started getting patchy every spring. Weeds were more and more, oh, they come and re-spray, but every spring, weeds everywhere. I called and asked for a rep to visit my lawn, and tell me, after 7 years of service, that this is a poster picture of what a lawn should look like. Not one visit, I was even told by a rep, that I can pull the weeds out by hand. They actually have the balls to bill me for the last treatment, and threatened to put me in collection for 60 dollars. They absolutely suck, I rereferred them to 2 neighbors, who also cancelled . See photos, Nice right

I’ve used Weedman for several years but have noticed over the past year a decline in quality. I know to wait after treatment for weeds to die however it has been over a year and there are patches of weeds that are still present from a year ago. Your company is advertising your work and actually placed your sign on a stretch of my lawn that has tons of weed growth. I’ll leave your sign up for all neighbors to see.

Pam,<br><br>We're sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction and we do appreciate your feedback. I've looked into your property and account. I see that you have been with us for awhile as you stated and we're saddened to see that you're having an issue with our service. Thanks for continuing services with us. <br><br>I have set you up with a service call to address the new weed growth. It is that time of the year. The pre-emergents are breaking down (we want them to break down around this time of year to encourage growth of the healthy turf). There has been a good amount of rain and the years of treatments have created healthy turf. Those things combined are create great growing conditions. If there is an area in the turf where there isn't a grass root, something else will grow up in that spot.<br><br>We'll be out to inspect the lawn and treat that new weed growth. You're always welcome and encouraged to call and talk to us about concerns with the lawn. If we do not pick up, leave a brief message and we'll be back to promptly. Please, Please, Please take advantage of the free service calls. We have them for this very reason. I see that in all the time that you've been with us that there's only one service call. This is unusual and I'd love to talk to you more about it. We expect and plan to hear from our customers about lawn conditions. You see the lawn 365 days a year, we're out 7-10 times year. So your feedback is appreciate. Again, we encourage communication and would love to talk to you more about this.<br><br>Weed Man<br><br>P.S. Glad that you're still a customer and working with us. 4/25
