Christian was great and clearly explained the possible solutions to our clover mite problem. He promptly sprayed our interior and was quick to ensure that he’d return as soon as we needed him to if the bugs came back. Stomp’s been great to work with!

Cole came out to do our quarterly service and was very kind to listen to our concerns. He went above and beyond to heavily treat the outside of our home and knocked down several wasp nests around our home and garage. He reassured us to feel free to reach out if we see any further bug or wasp activities.
Blake did an excellent job handling the rice moth infestation in my pantry. He was thorough, professional, and made sure the problem was fully resolved, not just temporarily treated. I highly recommend him to anyone dealing with pantry pests.

I wasn't home when they came for one,than I have no idea what they did. I think a courtesy call should of occurred. No notation on what was done at all! One hundred and thirty something dollars removed from my account and for what? Definitely a conversation is deserved.
I signed up for a two treatment package. First one I had to have them come back because I kept seeing the same bugs. I don't feel like the tech that came out was very detailed with their treatment. Second time they did not call ahead of scheduled visits and showed up 3 hours after the time I had scheduled. I was in the middle of a meeting so he Treated the outside of my house only. Told me I would need to reschedule for the interior. Then they charged my card. I called up to find out what I was charged for and to inform them the full service was not done. The representative on the phone turned very rude and condescending towards me. I asked to speak to a manager he said someone would reach out. I also emailed and they said the same. Never heard anything back. For those reasons I would not encourage anyone to work with a company like this.
Called the second time for starting the service and they started quoting higher price. Kinan was more transparent and not the Second Gentlemen I spoke too. Lost trust, taking my business elsewhere..
They are very inflexible, with their service times, and want you to be available (M-F) 8-5 pm. And if they don't want to sign you up, they will show this inflexibility with service time set up. This particular representative simply refused to sign me up to the program. The representative was not interested in bringing more business for the owners.
Stomp Pest Control just terminated my account with them after being a client for 5+ years without any sort of conversation or discussion. We have always paid on time and been an excellent client. Their reasoning for the termination is due to their lack of ability to control the pests on my property. So please keep in mind that they are terminating clients due to the lack of ability to do their primary service which is the worst business practice I have ever dealt with.
I have been with these guys for over a year. Recently we went overseas for ~6 weeks and they do not have an option to move our quarterly appointment to when we are back so was suggested to put the account on hold/inactive and was told we could start it when we are back as we are in "good standing". Called today and now they want $30 more for the same quarterly service we were signed up for which is ridiculous. Good way lose a customer, firstly no option to reschedule the appointment a few weeks out, and you promise something and not stick to the words…
We've been with stomp pest control for over a year trying to battle Brown German cockroaches. Birmingham cockroaches. Initially the technicians were very attentive and seemed to care about the quality of their work. The 2nd technician that came after seemed to be a training with no real sense of urgency or quality. Is the white powder that was used to treat the roachis treat erocious, instead of being is being precisely distributed was thrown about as if we were trying to make a snowdrift.. We have dealt with this for months. At 1 point my wife and I noticed that the roaches were coming back and when we were asking each other who had seen Stomp pest control last, we realized neither had.. After 3 months hyattis , that they continue the charges for, we made sure they returned to address our on going bug problem. Today is a fine example of how they just don't care about my home or pets. Stomp pest control, you're fired.
So here’s the thing...... Travis and his family (owners) are wonderful. I was with Stomp Pest Control for over 8 years after meeting Travis in person when he was starting his business going door to door in a high end residential community in West Cary. Travis displace Orkin and I never looked back. Boy..... how time will change things and growing pains I guess..... This review is for Alexis Hamm their office administrator and she should thank herself and only herself for the remainder of this review and the reflection it has on where the company is today. Just to be clear, when I moved from Orkin to Stomp it wasn’t because of products, organic materials, or whatever; it was ALWAYS about customer service, communication, respect, and supporting local business. Alexis did an excellent job of ruining that culture all by herself with text message communication (yes you read that correct.... text - clearly showing her age. NOTE: Travis used to call if there was a any problem at all). We had a scheduling conflict 2 times on a particular week where a home was going through a remodel and we had to reschedule. Now, just to clarify, I am a builder here in the area and a business owner so I fully understand running a business and managing people and customer’s expectations. So we went through the process of rescheduling as it has been nearly 2 months since they had last came to the property. We moved everything so they could have a clear path to do there spray. We put an entire day of construction aside for the pest control company. Remember, this was a light remodel inside, not a construction zone and we had that area sealed off. My wife who is 6 months pregnant went around the 6,000 square foot property and picked up everything off of the floor and took our toddler and 2 small dogs for a walk so the technician could do his job. This is where both the technician and Alexis get the 1 star review. If I could leave a 0 star for those two I would. Reading directly off the text, Alexis says, “We can no longer waste our time around your schedule”. In a text! Words cannot describe the level of unprofessionalism this type of office administration exudes. To text that to a home owner who has been a loyal customer for over 8 years and has thrown more business their way than I care to keep count of is absurd, rude, inappropriate, and lacks common business logic that anyone who calls themselves an administrator or coordinator should have!! I immediately communicated this back to her in and informed that because of this type of behavior that I would be dropping their service. The technician also just left the job site with no communication to my wife and this was before the text from Alexis came through. He too was rude and unprofessional with zero phone manners whatsoever. That doesn’t surprise me because the turnover rate with their technicians is at an unprecedented high. They turnover almost every service, so essentially monthly or every two months. But back to Alexis..... After communicating my disappointment with her communication and that I would be dropping service, she replied one word, “Confirmed”. What more is there to say? A mentor of mine told me to never through stones from a glass house so I won’t go where I want to go with this review. Let’s just say you can go on her website and read her bio. Maybe the Canes making the playoffs is a bigger concern to her than Travis and his family’s customers. I’m not sure and at this point I don’t really care. It is very disappointing that she and the technician are in a customer service industry and lack the very thing that makes that industry flourish which is.... customer service and manners! Especially in the South. 0 stars if I could leave it, so pat yourself on the back Alexis for google giving you 1 star because you did nothing to earn it. As for the technician, I’m sure he will be on LinkedIn soon enough looking for another job. I am long time friends with prominent business owners in the area. This will sting. Pun intended.
I have had a HORRIBLE experience with STOMP and I would not recommend them at all. They "con" you into their 1 year contract that they do not tell you upfront (take the time time to read this contract is not the same that the kid tells you on your doorstep). Christian just told us that we can cancel anytime. Of course you can if you buy it out. They call you once to schedule a treatment and if you are not home, they come anyway. They do not spray above the waist so any concerns you have on your porch or high areas will not be addressed (which is why we needed pest services), although Christian said that he could treat them no problem as we showed him everything we needed addressed. We didn't have bug/ant problems but there are lot of snakes in the area so I wanted to have treatment for them and some of all the wasp nests that are constantly being built. They were supposed to spray for snakes but the last time they sprayed, it attached snakes and we sighted 3 snakes (one almost on the porch) and killed one copperhead on our property. The guys that spray are there a record of 5 minutes and will block your driveway or park where ever they like. Every time they spray, I have seen more bugs that I ever have because they only spray the outside. Only once have I been able to call them and get to come inside. And the last time, the worker, Kristian, came out, I passed him coming in on my way to pick my daughter at the new High School which is 5 minutes away, by the time I got back (roughly 12 minutes) he was gone, like really gone. I didn't pass him in the neighborhood or anything. However, he put that he was here for 30 minutes on the invoice. He knocked down 2 huge wasp nests and left them on the porch for children or pets to pick up and before he got to his next job, the wasps were right back making new nests (see attached pictures). I contacted the manager with my concerns about the poor services back in November 2016 and I was told to read my contract and if I wanted to end early I would have to pay. I also asked them to take my credit card off file and they continued to bill my card on file. DO NOT SIGN with this company. Their services are horrible. Their customer service is horrible. Their workers do not care about the work that they do and whatever you do, DO NOT give them your credit card number. This is the "professional" note that was on my invoice that was left after my last service. "**WANTED TO CANCEL IN NOV 2016, BUT CUSTOMER STILL HAS FEB AND MAY 2017 SERVICES TO DO TO FULFILL CONTRACT. WHEN CALLING IN FEB 2017, MAKE SURE CUSTOMER KNOWS THAT THEY ARE UNDER CONTRACT STILL UNTIL AFTER THE MAY 2017 SERVICE. CANCEL ACCOUNT AFTER MAY 2017 SERVICE IS PERFORMED." Really? Would you add a note like that for a customer to see? I would not recommend this company at all. If a zero rating was available, this is what I rate this company but nothing is what you get for $225. It was a complete waste of money. Never again will I take up any service contracts from a kid on my porch.

The first year is under agreement, and we really try to make this clear, ensuring that everyone knows what they are getting themselves into. The reason for a one-year agreement is because we want to get the property to "Stomp Standard."<br><br>All of our customers are guaranteed free re-services in-between their regular services. This ensures that any problem out of the ordinary gets taken care of in a timely manner. We focus most of our time and energy on the outside, because that is where the pests are coming from. The inside is only needed when special issues arise that need extra attention.
They have missed their inside treatments TWICE! The first time, they failed to put me on the schedule of their technician. The second time, they claimed they came here and no one was at home! But I was waiting at home for the whole morning! I even canceled my work for them! It's totally not acceptable! If they rally came and no one answer the door, they could at least call me to check! Also I've asked them come to treat ants sooooo many times! But there are still many ants in my house. Their treatment does not work at all!

Thanks for your feedback! We appreciate your candid honesty. As you know, our regular services are an outside treatment only. The outside focus is because that is where the bugs are coming from, obviously.<br><br>The techs are trained to always ring the doorbell when they come to the home, unless the customer prefers something different. If the customer doesn't come to the door, then we treat the full outside. The outside treatment includes knocking down all the webs around the home, spraying a barrier around the entire base of the home, and treating the whole lawn area with granules. This treatment is usually enough to keep the pests at bay.<br><br>There are times, however, when some properties need a bit more attention, and we need to treat inside the home as well. Because we cannot possibly schedule an inside service for every single customer of every day, we leave it up to the customer to call if they need the inside treated. This is why we offer unlimited, free re-services. Between scheduled services and free re-services we are confident that we can get rid of most every pest problem we cover.
