This company is an absolute racket !!!! Mosquito & the general pests are supposed to be grouped as 1 package but if you cancel they will charge you $200 a piece treating them as separate agreements . They have charged me for services twice a month multiple times when it is a single MONTHLY service . The salesmen will lie straight to your face & leave crucial details out to get your signature so they meet quota ! When I called to bring this to cooperates attention I was hung up on , Hawx is truly one of the most dishonest companies I have ever dealt with . DO NOT USE Hawx !!!!! You have been warned

Hawx treated our home for bed bugs. They were supposed to do two treatments. The second time the technician came out, looked, around, and did nothing. We called back a few weeks later because we saw another bug. They said they would not come back because it had been longer than one month since their first visit.

Technician Ben was friendly and offered. additional services were offered which we did not need and he also gave some recommendations on the ant control.

Michael was kind and courteous and very professional and got to the root of the issue with my mice and also found some other damage by another pest. They got me on the schedule right away and are taking very good care of us.

I called to cancel services because my in-laws sold their home in Chapel Hill and my father in-law had just passed away. After being transferred 2x to different departments, I got the account manager. I was told in order to avoid early termination fees, I needed proof that my in-laws moved. I emailed them the settlement sheet, then I was told that wasn’t good enough. So after a week of dealing with my father in-laws passing, a phone call that should’ve only taken 5 minutes took over 45 minutes. They canceled the service but need a death certificate asap. Not what I’d call a good company to deal with.

I gave them a chance back in June, the sales person really convinced me that I would be getting better service than what I currently had. It was way more than what I was paying previously but I gave them a chance because of how promising it looked. I realized with time that it was less quality service than I had received with my previous company while paying more. I had a baby right after signing up so this matter was the last on my mind. Finally had time to call. I spent over 30 mins (the first call got disconnected) trying to cancel. They informed me of the cancellation fee since I was ending services before the year, it still did not change my mind. After repeating myself over and over that I would not change my mind and wanted to pay whatever I needed to pay to cancel, Towards the end, the agent said “I respect your decision however…” And proceeded with another speech on why I needed to stay… For the ones who like their services great! But please know if you ever want to cancel for any reason, they will NOT respect your time OR your decision! I understand wanting to keep a client, but it should not take hearing NO 10 times and 30 mins on the phone, to ACTUALLY respect a customer’s decision!!!

Unauthorized charges on my credit card. This company debited payment from my credit card and I did not authorize any transactions or speak with any representative. Someone else other than me made arrangements with this company. I did not solicit or request service from your company. Therefore the charges to my credit card were illegal and Unauthorized

I can only speak for Sanford NC, but here is my experience thus far: I had signed up for Hawx pest control for over a year. They lock you into that year contract, but then it changes to month to month. Anyways, when I first signed up the salesman said they sprayed inside and outside the home. Then when the first technician showed up they said they did NOT spray inside the home and it would stain the baseboards and carpet if we had them do it.... Alright, that was a change. We had multiple notes in our file to contact us BEFORE they headed our way so we could unlock the fence and close the doggie door so they could spray the back porch and back half of the house... They almost never called, only doing half of the job and leaving without us ever knowing. The only way to cancel is to call them, you can't do it online, and the man on the phone tried everything to get us to stay, including TELLING ME IT WOULD BE A SHAME FOR ME TO COME HOME AND FIND MY DOGS EATEN ALIVE BY FIRE ANTS ALL BECAUSE I CANCEL NOW!!!!!! Now they won't stop calling to try and get me to sign up. So I will NEVER, I repeat, NEVER sign up for Hawx pest control again. The technicians they have covering Sanford are LAZY and will lie to you to get out of work. And their office workers are VILE human beings that aren't above using the love people have for their pets to try and get them to stay on their service plan.

This Company is a Scam!!! I signed up in July for the Mosquito Package. The months of service are: J, A, S, and Oct, then a break thru fall and winter, picking up again in April, then May & June which completes the 1 year plan they lock you into. They made 2 attempts in November to service my property which they can then bill for. Luckily, I was home and stopped them. I called corporate and they assured me they wouldn't come out again until the contract specified time in April 2026. It's now. Christmas Eve and without any prior notice I received a text from them that they serviced my property. Sure hope they don't bill me as I really don't want to spend time off for the holidays having to call corporate again.

Absolutely a scam - please avoid at all costs. They do a terrible job of coming to your house and to cancel, you must pay an outrageous fee or you're on the hook for every month. They just billed me again yesterday to spray my yard for bugs in December. I have the camera footage of what they do, a guy runs in and sprays a about 10 - 15ft down on side of my fence and leaves - what a nightmare. I wish I could give them no stars. I'll update this review after I call them tomorrow to try and cancel my contract again for poor services rendered without a 300 dollar cancelation fee.

I had their services and everything was great. Until I moved out of state. I canceled my services and now they won't stop calling me. I keep telling him that I no longer live in your coverage area and they keep calling me. And they won't stop calling me. It's driving me crazy. Do not! I mean do not seek out their services.! You will regret it!

Bad customer service experience! They don’t show up within the service window or notify you of their delay. They don’t call within 30 minutes of their arrival as stated. Lord forbid you give the technician a rating below 10 and office management is calling like you’re the problem! Definitely will be cancelling my service and finding a pest control service provider who knows how to treat customers.

A company representative came to my home and offered me a $100 pest service. I invited him in and we talked about his services. Mosquito, ant and termite control were all discussed. The deal was $100 pest control treatment service today and $55 per month for 1 year contract. A few days later another salesman shows up and does a termit inspection. He shows me pictures of trees in the woods behind my house with holes in the truck and tells me I have termites under my house. He did not enter my house or my crawl space. When asked, he admitted that he did not inspect my foundation. I was told it would be an additional $55 per month for termit protection. A week later a 3rd salesman arrived to sell me a Mosquito plan for the low price of $55 per month. I signed the contract 6/6/24. I called to cancel the contract on 8/3/25. They call me 3 times a day to get me to pay for August because I was 3 days into the month. Last service call was back in June. Despite repeated requests to stop calling me I continue to get threatening calls from 8am to 9pm daily. Forget about everything I have mentioned. Bottom line is that I paid $760 for 13 months basic pest control and saw no significant improvement of pest sighting inside my home. I still had to use Raid bait traps to keep pests under control. A week after posting this review and I'm still getting harassing phone calls.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Consistently had issues with Hawx Pest Control-Magnolia area. Cancelled our service and were told we already had paid for a service and we should utilize it. So we said fine, one last service and we will be done. Confirmed we would not get charged another month of fees and confirmed our services were cancelled. Technician came out and left without doing the inside and problem area outside and even took it upon himself to purposely spray the chemicals in our dogs water and food bowl that was outside (which we found after reviewing the security footage after trying to find out why she had gotten sick). We called to let them know our technician did not complete service as paid for and received no help. One month later we get charged another monthly fee for service AFTER we had cancelled services. Called and spoke to an account manager to see if it could be rectified as we had cancelled services prior. He said since we took on a last service we were “supposed to call back and cancel again”. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. We only scheduled the service after being told we might as well take advantage of a last service as it was already paid and we would be done. Account manager refused to refund us our money, refused to transfer our call to someone else, and was extremely unprofessional. After speaking to him we called back and tried to talk to someone else. Guest services said they could not help us or transfer us to anyone and wished us luck. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
