Rise Pest & Wildlife Management

Can not safe enough in praise of Rise Pest & Wildlife Management. They removed, recently, a Honeybee Hive from the soffit of my home in Raleigh. Their explanation of the process by which the work would be done was clear. Their estimation of the cost of the work was competitive and free of any attempt at up-selling. Justin arrived on time, and talked me through the work being done. He even had an extra Beekeeper's suit he allowed me to wear so that I could both follow the work closely, and take photos. There is nothing better than a personable contractor who does their job well and treats their client as a friend. After the removal of the hive, the space was prepared so they would have little success of reestablishing a hive in the location. The bees were transported to a new location, with their hives. Justin repaired the soffit, leaving my house well tended. Thank you for such a positive experience.

We have had a wonderful experience with Rise! We had previously worked with a different local company to address our mouse issue, and it failed. On his first visit, Steve thoroughly explained his plan, implemented it, and it has been completely effective. We are so grateful! The customer service has been great too.

I had a honeybee swarm in a hole between the outer wall and chimney. Justin did an excellent job of removing the honeycomb and repairing the large hole. No more swarms and the house looks better. Also, they came when they said they would come, they explained things well and they were friendly and professional. I highly recommend this company.

We recently had a bird nest removed from our upstairs bathroom vent, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Steve was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. Customer service was great, communication was clear. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently. My wife and I hired Rise to remedy a situation with birds. The vent cover on an exhaust fan in our master bath had broken, allowing birds to enter the ventilation duct and build a nest. In addition, at least one of the birds had died, resulting in a fowl (pun intended) odor. I called Rise and left a message late in the day. Krissy returned my call promptly the next day. After I described the issue, she immediately dispatched someone. Within about an hour, Steve Nye, their lead wildlife technician, was at our door. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He expeditiously examined the situation and returned later with photos that showed that the vent hose itself had been damaged, enabling the birds to escape between the joists. Given the damaged vent hose, I opted to have him replace the entire hose. Since he needed to work both on the inside of the bathroom and the outside of the house, he spread out a tarp in the bathroom. He then replaced the vent hose, cleaned out the birds nest (along with the dead bird), and installed a new vent cover. After the job completion, he provided photos of the area between the floor joists after it had been cleaned. He also swept the bathroom floor. The experience was extremely professional from beginning to end, the price was reasonable, and the work was completed the same day I reported it. Great company!

Responsive, timely, knowledgeable, efficient and effective. Very professional. Excellent service. The removed a large bee hive from inside the structure of our house. We strongly recommend them. :)

I put an online inquiry in and they called me three days later. When I called back it was 3pm on a Monday. The lady was already home. She told me to text her and she would put me on the schedule for Wednesday. So I texted her and heard nothing back. Went with another company. When there is a small business I always want to support small but this time it failed I went to a bigger company for my needs. Update I got contacted today two days after this review was left. Chrissy tried to say that she never got the text message here’s proof it’s in the thread with the original message of me texting her like she asked me to.

After receiving a report from a tenant of critters in their attic, I contacted Rise Pest & Wildlife Management. Krissy Ross quickly dispatched a technician to set traps and cameras, and a family of squirrels was relocated within a couple of days. Additionally, the technician repaired the siding to prevent future intrusion. Will definitely call upon them again, if the need arises.

Great team! They did an excellent job safely removing and relocating a colony of bees that had settled at my house. Everything was handled professionally, and the area was left in perfect condition. I especially appreciated that they returned the next day to make sure the bees wouldn't come back. Their attention to detail and follow-up really stood out. Highly recommend!

This is a great company that truly wants to help with your issues. I thought I had squirrels in the attic but it turns out I had some mice over winter. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. This is the only company I will ever use!

Thank you! We appreciate you. Squirrel trapping and relocation from my Mom’s house and at a difficult time for the family. We appreciated Krissy’s very prompt and kind scheduling and assistance. We appreciated Steve coming back and forth with ladders and cameras and all the research they did to try to understand what we were seeing in the traps. We were worried about a mother squirrel and her one older baby and didn’t know what to do given we couldn’t be certain about more squirrels in a litter. We were advised with intelligence, research, and empathy as we struggled to know what to do. The end result is we were able to have the squirrel family gently and humanely relocated, and my Mom hasn’t had any activity in her attic since. They went above and beyond and they’ve got customers for life (although honestly, it’s always the hope that we can keep the wildlife out of course!). Thank you for all the help and time. Really grateful to have them be the ones who efficiently and swiftly managed the whole situation.

I met the owner a while back at the Ymca in Garner and suggested them to my wife. They are amazing people! I said I would leave a review and I forgot. Well I was reviewing the Garner Harbor Freight and giving them a 1 star and then I remembered I promised I would leave Rise a review. Sorry for being so late guys! They are bee friendly and really try to be ethical in their applications, which is great since we have an organic garden. Just a great family and company. Could not be happier.

I was really anxious thinking I might have a bug infestation, but Steve was calm, professional, and incredibly reassuring. He thoroughly inspected my home and confidently let me know there was no infestation—just a few bugs here and there. His honesty and kindness instantly put me at ease. This company is on the Rise! I recommend getting in with them sooner than later. Stephen really knows what he's talking about on a wide variety of home protection related topics. He was thorough and accurate. I was super impressed with his knowledge, skills, and abilities to diagnose pest related issues. Stephen also identified water intrusion and potential sources of mold, which can be a huge contributing factor to your indoor air quality. I felt like I received superior service!

Justin successfully located and dispatched a wasp nest in the outlet part of an exhaust fan in my bathroom. To win the day, he had to climb a ladder that was so tall that I nearly had a heart attack, but he was unfazed! He also identified another pesty issue in my attic that Rise will treat. Justin obviously realized that this 75-year old homeowner was anxious, so he spent another 20 minutes reassuring us all will be well. Pest control and therapy all in one visit is unique. Justin rocks, and so does Rise.

Rise Pest Management is top-notch in customer care and service! I called Stephen frantically a little after 12am. He was the 4th call I made to 24hr. services. There were what appeared to be bat wings hanging out of an air vent in my bedroom - bathroom and scurrying around in the ceiling. Stephan was knowledgeable about the laws of bats and that prohibited him in some cases. After taking the time and assuring me, he gave me a number to the 24-hr animal control hotline which to no avail, stopped servicing at 11pm. They dispatched the Raleigh-PD who were very nice, but not experts. I texted Stephen an update; he advised me to secure the bathroom til morning and assured me he would send his expert technician, Steve, first thing (8am) in the morning. Steve, was just like he was described, Ace in knowledge, customer service and care---just like Stephen said! Thank you, so much, Steve! You were Awesome and a tremendous help. Thank you, Stephen for taking the time to assure and ensure I was helped and comforted. I recommend you to anyone in need of rescue from a sleepless night of night-crawlers, of any kind. I am looking forward to working with you guys!

I can't say enough great things about Rise! I had a colony of honey bees that they helped move. They came out same day and made sure the bees were all safely relocated while also ensuring my property was respected and while educating us on honeybees! Professional and ethical pest control companies are definitely hard to come by these days but I am so grateful for finding both with Rise!!
