Great customer service!
The guys were full of knowledge. Knowledge I contain zero of. Until now. Now I just have a little versus none.
I recently purchased a home that is 105 years old. I wanted to make sure that there wasn't 105 years of creatures occupying the space with me. Lindsey is the epitome of excellent customer service and Lorenzo did an inspection that was thorough and answered all of my questions. He also provided careful and excellent service when doing work at my home.
I was scheduled the next day, which was awesome. Jeremy was great! He was very thorough in his explanation of ant behavior and services offered. I didn't feel pressured to purchase something I felt I didn't need. Very good experience so far! Would highly recommend over the other well known companies.

I’m really disappointed about there service , I paid so far $600 and still they didn’t do anything , there team member guys just came walk around and leave and charge me. It’s almost 4 month and I didn’t see any improve.
Just had a gentleman come to exterminate my apartment. They really do a thorough job and are good people. Would definitely recommend them. Update: Called them again back in November 2024 for some mice that were in my fiancée’s place. Called them at least a half dozen times and they were never able to fix the situation. Even sent their manager Ethan out and thought things were good until a week later. Had to go with Target Pest Control instead. Hopefully they will be able to resolve our mouse problem. UPDATE: Target Pest Control was able to do what Town & County could not. Dave yourself the money and hassle and go with Target Pest Control instead.

Thank you David for this great feedback and 5-star review! So glad you called us so we can help you out.<br>Shawn S.
My wife and I were very disappointed with their service and pricing. In 2 months we spent just under 1k for 4 visits to deal with a moderate drain fly and light mouse activity in our rental. They were not very thorough in plugging holes like they said they would be, even after several requests we received excuses. Even as a layman, I could spot several points of entry and upon switching to Fox pest their tech found even more (old house 1930s)! As if that wasn't bad enough their tech did not use discretion (as we had requested) when dealing with a challenging tenant, they made incorrect assumptions about the plumbing system which aided the tenant in their complaint but was proved wrong by a licensed master plumber... Only after after that damage had been done. Sorry but sewer lines don't empty into the crock... Thanks for telling the tenant that! They did manage to curtail the fly issue with our diligence in following up on them with several phone conversations and with our own involvement, but during the whole processes they offered little guidance other than 'let's give it 3 weeks to see if those chemicals we sprayed worked'. Knowing what I know now I would have had fox come and do everything for ½ the cost and they would have done a better job.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with our service and want to clarify the details of our visits to your rental property.<br>We understand your frustration with the ongoing pest issues. During our initial inspection on August 19, we identified two primary sources for the problems you were experiencing. Our approach was to address the immediate symptoms while advising, inspecting, identifying, and helping you develop a long-term plan to address the root causes using the proper parties, such as contractors or experienced plumbers in this case. <br>Mice $549 plus 3 included visits(we came 4): Our inspection revealed a massive hole in the foundation, missing about 2.5 blocks. There are many other areas that are smaller and ongoing, given the age of the home, as you mentioned, and the continued crumbling of the foundation in some areas. This is why it is suggested that a mason was needed. Anything we outlined in our rodent program handout for how we can do repairs, this issue went far beyond what was offered and needed. Foam, metal excluder (steel wool-like), is only temporary and won't last in the long term. We documented the major issue with photos and explained that this was the main entry point for rodents. While we treated the active mouse population with baiting and trapping and sealed minor entry points, as hired and described in the service handout, we consistently found that a permanent solution would require a professional mason. <br>Sewer/Drain Flies $299 30 day warranty (we came 5xs): We identified that this was not a simple pest issue. Our initial inspection revealed standing water and severe larvae in the crock, a symptom of a significant plumbing problem, as this is not a common situation or level ever seen. We advised that an experienced plumber was needed to address the root cause, as no amount of pesticide would solve an issue of that nature. The fly treatments we provided were done well beyond our original service agreement, as a courtesy to help manage the situation while the underlying plumbing issue was figured out. <br><br>A misconception in pest and rodent control is that using pesticides or rodenticides is the solution to the problem. In very narrow situations, this is somewhat possible, such as when a yellow jacket nest builds inside a house; we can solve that issue right away by spraying, but even so, a hole/crack was actually the root cause and they will come back in the future if that is not sealed or they could have neen prevented had the hole been fixed prior. Pest control is also like treating an infection in a tooth; pain medication and antibiotics will give quick relief, but it's only a temporary solution until the root is removed or the actual cause of the infection is addressed, which goes beyond just the medication. If not, it will return, and it will often be worse than before. <br>We provided clear notes and photos on every visit, and we stuck to all agreed upon terms provided. We stand by our professional assessment and the detailed documentation provided to you. Our focus was on identifying and communicating the two major issues that were causing the most significant problems. Issues that were far beyond the scope of a pest control company to fix. Please let us know if you have any further questions, and we would be happy to connect with you in person or by phone.
Edited: I contacted the DEC to verify this information. They said that NWCOs are allowed to euthanize nuisance animals but also are allowed to relocate them within the county with landowner's permission and are NOT required to euthanize. The link T&C gave does not say they're required to euthanize, only that they are allowed to. I will choose a control solution that chooses relocation instead. "What This License Allows Taking, transporting and releasing, or euthanizing wildlife when such wildlife damages or destroys property or poses a threat to public safety." Original review: Their technician told us that they're required to euthanize raccoons etc but the state says that isn't true and they could relocate them within the county.
Response from Town & Country Pest Solutions inc
Hello J. Conley - and thanks for your feedback. <br><br>Unfortunately, it appears you are misinformed about how to manage a nuisance raccoon. You may not know this but all Licensed Wildlife Control experts are governed by the DEC (Department of Environmental Conservation), and if you review the link below from their website, you can clearly see what the DEC requires us euthanize nuisance raccoons.<br><br>https://dec.ny.gov/nature/animals-fish-plants/nuisance-wildlife-species/remove-take-legally<br><br>"Relocating an Animal<br>It is illegal for you to move or relocate an animal off your property. You cannot live trap an animal and release it in a park, on State land or anywhere other than on the property where it was captured. If you need a wild animal removed from your property, contact a Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator (NWCO). Relocating an animal can create problems for neighbors, can move diseases like rabies or Lyme, and can cause unnecessary stress to the animal. This task must be handled by a licensed professional."<br><br>Now based on sharing this accurate information with you, we would kindly ask that you remove this inaccurate review of our company. <br><br>Should you have any additional questions regarding this information, you can contact me directly at our office anytime that is convenient for you at 585-426-5024. 0/10 - Would not recommend this company at all. They came to our home when we were 2 hours away, and they sprayed unknown chemicals on our property without our permission. There was not a single person home to authorize this. There are multiple “No Trespassing” signs leading to our backyard where they sprayed. We are an ORGANIC HOUSEHOLD ONLY, and we eat from our gardens. We would never authorize a service like this. Our garden beds are now contaminated with whatever they took upon themselves to spray, after years of amending our soil. Not to mention, we have chickens and he sprayed anyways even though he could see them. Our dogs and cats are also at risk, as again, we have no idea what was sprayed on our property. They helped themselves into the backyard, and were spraying around the whole house with the windows wide open, so even though our cats stay inside, there’s a very real possibility they’ve been exposed to these unknown chemicals as well. What if our dogs were outside as he helped himself to the backyard? There are very clear “Beware of Dog” signs all over as well. Can’t miss them. When our neighbors mentioned to them they were probably at the wrong house (which he indeed was), she was told they would need to call the office to resolve the issue. If our lovely neighbors hadn’t told us this happened, we would never have known (aside from security footage); there’s not a door hanger, a sticker, a note on a windshield, or even something in our mailbox letting us know they were here and made some sort of error. I’m absolutely disgusted by the complete lack of care and attention, and respect for someone else’s property.

Hi Taylor,<br><br>I'm really sorry about what happened, and we want to address this immediately. Could you please give us a call or send an email so we can get in touch? We currently don't have your contact details, but we'll reach out as soon as we do.<br><br>Based on what you've shared, this situation is completely unacceptable on our part, and we need to gather more information to resolve it. I want to assure you that the products we use are designed with the lowest active dosage for insects and to be used where people and animals are, even in sensitive environments like schools, nursing homes, and hospitals. However, I fully understand that this doesn’t justify what happened without your permission at all and that is not an excuse, but since we have not spoken yet, I'm hoping to give you a small piece of mind hopefully for the night.<br><br>We will investigate this thoroughly and work with you to make it right as soon as possible. Again, I sincerely apologize for this situation. <br><br>If you would please email us your contact info at service@townandcountrysolutions.com
Schedule one time appointment on May 17 for interior and exterior for my rental. They proceeded to schedule appointments without notifying me therefore they are not able to treat the interior. Abbey tried to claim that she had in writing that I authorised the appointments but when I showed her this text she claims that they suggested the dates and I agreed even though I have it in writing to confirm the appointments as we get closer to those dates. Also they said I have signed up for monthly service which I never did. Horrible customer service and I basically wasted a $1,000 Update: my card got charged yesterday for the monthly service even though I asked multiple people to not sign me up for it!

Hello Ryan - and thanks so much for your follow up and feedback! <br><br>I’ve just called and left you a voicemail message to better understand and discuss your situation in more detail. Please call me at your earliest convenience as I can be reached at the office anytime at 585-426-5024, option 7.<br><br>Thank you Shawn S.
They scheduled me a week out to treat my rental building. I let tenants know and they prep for treatment. Which is emptying all kitchen cabinets and separating furniture from walls. They were supposed to show up between 12-4 and i called office at 4 to check if they still be coming. Michael said yes, that my place was their next stop, well they never show up. Unprofessional to waste tenants day of work and the time to prep for nothing. Never received a call back of what happened until I contacted them. Their response was “we can reschedule you”.

Hello Jose and thanks so much for taking my call moments ago! <br><br>I’m sorry that the technician missed you when he called on his way to your place yesterday. We called to let you know we were coming and could not find your home. I know he made efforts to get out of his vehicle and find the address but he was unsuccessful. <br><br>Nonetheless, please let me know if you have any additional details or if we can be of any further help. I’d be happy to make sure we get someone out to you and your tenants as soon as possible. <br><br>Thank you - Shawn S.
The whole point of getting a paid estimate was to determine if I had a bat issue and if so where they were coming in. Instead I received a generic response that wherever two unlike materials meet it could create a space for them to squeeze in. I then received an outrageous estimate to seal those areas up. Save your time with getting an estimate because every house has the same issues and you won’t get any value for paying for an estimate.
Response from Town & Country Pest Solutions inc
Hi David,<br>Thank you for taking my call the other day in regards to this review based on our bat inspection, the process of removing bats, and the overall understanding on exclusion processes. It was also great to hear your side and to better understand what your expectations were going into this inspection vs what what exactly is our process in helping you fully resolve your bat issue now and long-term. We look forward to helping you at some point soon. Please reach out to me or the office if you have any further issues. - Caleb
I was proposed a rate increase of over 80% for annual barrier treatments. I was told that the initial (discounted) rate was due to a one time discount that was never communicated to me via the email correspondence we exchanged to initially establish service. I asked for a manager to consider the situation, given astronomical price increase, and was promptly advised that after speaking with the manager, no consideration for my case will be made. But hey, they apologized for the miscommunication! So that’s something, I guess? This is not the first communication issue experienced with Town and Country pest control. A rodent call was offered in between quarterly treatments to help manage a trouble time, and I was charged for the call even though I’m a package customer (supposedly guaranteed services). That was refunded but only after a lengthy phone call. Sure, they kill bugs and mice… but communication and customer service is so critical.

Town and County are very rude, cause a mess after they leave. And cause tenant big convenience with bad accusations. Threatening tenant. Deliberately spraying tenant's pet. In response to Mr. Sloan, I did Town and Country to next day. I totally dismissed. The woman I spoke to,called me a liar. Your company should be ashamed to have employees such as that. I have been haunted by this for the past 5 yrs. I can't trust any pest control company that is on contract.
