Insight Pest has been a great company to work with. They are professional and friendly, and also very responsive to our concerns.

Brandon who works for Insight, indignantly decided to ignore the massive sign on my door that says No Soliciting (have it all on camera my guy) and acted like he pretended he couldn’t hear me clear as day on my Ring camera talking to him. After I opened my door, and pointed to my sign - posted here for reference - he talked over me with his trash rehearsed sales pitch even when I said “No Soliciting” and pointed to our VERY clear sign (which he had already looked at). Love that this company completely ignores personal property law and then willfully ignores a home owner telling them not to solicit. Not the type of place I’d be paying to do any business with. Teach this kid how laws work.

Austin did a very nice job! Timely, thorough and professional, exactly what you would hope for!

Echoing all the reviews of people who had a salesperson come to their door, I was sickened by one. Making it like I was signing up for their service (thereby trying to guilt me into buying), he made me tell him 3 times 3 different reasons why I was in fact NOT signing up for their service. And, verbatim, "this is how we do business" disgusted me even further when he continued on as to how I should have been comfortable giving him my credit card information!

Horrible soliciting model. They were in our neighborhood soliciting after 7:30pm tonight. After review of the town of Perinton peddlers permits this company was found not to have one with the town. Town will be notified of violation. Residential soliciting is getting out of hand in the Perinton/Penfield area.

Don’t send your people door to door after 8pm trying to solicit business without a permit. Nobody likes it.

A door-to-door salesman approached me in my driveway and was extremely rude. I asked what he was selling and he was taken aback and mumbled something. He told me my neighbors had already signed up for the pest service, but I later confirmed that wasn’t true. Every time I tried to ask a question, he was rude back to me. I was actually a little interested in getting pest control services, but when I asked for a business card or phone number, he said “never mind” and sped off on his hoverboard. It was a very strange and unprofessional interaction. Honestly, after this experience, I don’t believe any of the 5-star reviews. I would never go with this company since what came to my door/driveway was a representation of them. Is this how Gen Z attempts to close sales?

Came to my door a little too aggressive and then had the audacity to ask for a bottle of water in trade for taking back his laminated poster. It’s 2025, maybe let’s skip the door to door

Austin did a very good job with Insight’s area of contractor responsibility per my contract. Austin as an individual was knowledgeable, polite and answered all of our questions.

I am very happy with the response of the Insight company. I called Thursday afternoon regarding a bee hive to be removed. Austin came at 8:00 Friday morning to remove it.

We just switched pest control companies to Insight because of the many extra services they provide including my yard and gardens. Our technician was Orion and he was friendly and informative. While applying granular pest control in my gardens he came across two snakes and asked if I wanted them removed. He would capture them and release them somewhere in the woods. I was sooooo grateful! Now the wood bees are gone and the carpenter ants are less and less each day. I’m very pleased with Insight and Orion for their service and highly recommend them!

Orion Vandemark completed my first Insight service. He was on time, knowledgeable, polite, and thorough. I appreciate all he did.

My experience with them has been awesome. The salesman, Cody, I believe, was extremely knowledgeable & kind. Austin Hoffman came out to service our home, he sent a text to let me know he was coming, which is so helpful! He was very thorough, provided some information about our landscape/pests in the area, and let me know when he was finished. I’m super impressed with Insight & their employees/service!

This is my 1st time using a "pest" company. It was wonderful! Austin Hoffman sent a text with his arrival time which was unexpected & so nice. I could put my dogs in the house ahead of time. He was professional & when done told me what he did, what to look for, etc. He answered a my questions which was great to gain some knowledge! He was easy to talk to. Not rushed. Austin, Hoffman came to my house. He was very pleasant. He called me before he came. And it was wonderful. Gave me some time to get some stuff done in the house. I hope he killed one of those ants I told him ha . He was very professional and had a great personality. I asked him to do a little extra spray near my garage And special corners in the house where I seen those ants. I sure hope this helps the problem and thank you so much for your great service. The technician was great. His name is Austin Hoffman and he did an excellent job of explaining the services the company offers. He was very personable and professional. Had to change appointment due to rain. Look forward to him coming back next week.
