I had some trees removed this spring. Left some new bare areas , and the equipment damaged much of the remaining lawn. Last.month had the entire back power seeded . Result were amazing! Already lawn is dense and filled in nicely. Looking forward to next spring to enjoy the beautiful new look ! Thanks

We are very pleased with the service we received from Lawn doctor. They treat our lawn and also treat us for mosquitoes and ticks. Never have an issue. I would highly recommend them. and if there is an issue they are quick to resolve it

I have used Lawn Doctor for the past few years. There have been a few occasions where after they treated the lawn with an application of whatever they were using within 2-3 days the grass would not look as green or healthy as it did prior to their visit. It wood turn beige and looked like it was dying. When I called them they said it was nothing they did and perhaps I wasn't watering the lawn right! I have a sprinkler system on my property..front back and sides. So it's always our fault. The last application I believe was in October. Shortly after that application my grass on my front lawn turned dark brown and is dead. It will look like that for the whole winter..unsightly! I didn't call right away but after looking at the lawn and the shape it is in I called them.A Manager came out to see the lawn today, at my request, and told me it was not due to their application but the change in Weather!!!! Seriously! I pay for this service and my property looks terrible. This is not the first time but shame on me for continuing to use this company! No more!! I advise anyone who is considering using Lawn Doctor to check into other lawn maintenance companies.

I have used Lawn Doctor for less than one year. The improvement in our lawn is significant. The grass is thicker and darker green, weeds are minimized, and I haven't noticed any annoying infestations of bugs. My only complaint is that I'm working too hard to keep up with mowing! I highly recommend Lawn Doctor!

I have cameras on every side of the houseI had a scheduled service. Company has been doing my yard for years. The crew showed up , one person inquired to other about fence being locked. Next thing is I see is that the guy never unlocked fence , just turned around and went back to truck.they knew where key is, they been serving me for many years. Called to discuss with office, they don’t believe me. Like i decided to make up a story with video cameras and edited my film over my back yard not being serviced. I can not tolerate idiotic behaviors.

Seems I have weeds they can't get rid of. Very disappointed.

I contracted Lawn Doctor for weed control. I prepaid for the season. They came a couple weeks after contracting and sprayed my first application. 6 weeks later I contacted them and was told they would be here for the 2nd within a week. We’ll two weeks later I emailed again and expressed disdain. I mentioned in my email that I was considering cancellation of our agreement due to poor service. I received an email basically saying; if you want to cancel we can cancel you right now. So I did I cancelled due to lack of response and unprofessionalism from the company.

They did weed , grub control and fertilized my lawn all summer. They had the fall application to do yet.My lawn looks so bad I stop them. When I talk to them on the phone they said OK will send you your money we owe you never asked why or what we can do to help you . That’s not a company I want to deal with .I had to Reseed my entire lawn. I would never recommend them.

very unsatisfied with this company. They have sub-standard service and are not responsive. I have been a customer for 9 years and my lawn has become progressively worse over the past 4 years. After calling several times for an evaluation, they suggested power seeding, which I do every year. I received and invoice for power seeding and paid it only to be told they cannot provide the service they recommended. Would not do business with this organization.

Left a message on their website to call me back after seeing their website advertising a greener and nicer lawn customized to my needs. Received a phone call back from an extremely rude woman who didn't give me even a moment to ask what I am looking for or why I contacted them. I hung up mid conversation I was so disgusted with their service and tone of voice. Stay away.

Called for an estimate, the guy came out to my house. Never got out of his truck to look around the yard, never went to the backyard. I watched on my cameras. Left estimate on the porch. He doubled the size of my yard’s size in the estimate. I called the office to ask some questions. The woman who answered, was extremely rude, short, and dismissive. Said she couldn’t answer any questions and the guy would call me back to address questions I had. Never received a call back. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend, I’ve since hired another company that I’m very happy with.

Started using Lawn Doctor when i purchased my home in 2017 and soon after contracting with them, they changed owners. I noticed a difference in customer service immediately. It got progressively worse as time went on, specifically when speaking with Sandy, who claims to be one of the owners. This past summer, i had a seeding done while travelling on business, and came home to a flood in my backyard; the technician broke a sprinkler head and water was running for days. When i called to advise, i was met with resistance and told it was my problem to fix it. I was persistent and they sent their son to fix it; needless to say, the sprinkler head is now sticking out of the ground and will be broken when my regular grass cutter does the first cut. The owners son was always very pleasant and nice and whoever has answered the phones, besides Sandy. I mentioned the nasty woman I spoke to and he wasn't surprised. I also contracted with Lawn Doctor to do tick and mosquito spraying, everytime they came it was raining and the service was not effective. The tech did say that if it rained excessively immediately after the service might not be as effective but just call us and we will do a respray. According to Sandy, that's not true. I had my soil tested by Lawn Doctor, since one of their techs was pretty convincing that i should have that done to determine what my lawn is lacking since it looked awful. Low an behold it was lacking nutrients, SHOCKER! I scheduled a lime and potassium treatment and was adamant that it had to be done during the week when i would be travelling and my dog would be at his sitter and not need to be on the lawn. Again i was met with an argument from Sandy that they could not accommodate my request. My parents use Lawn Doctor for tick and mosquito treatments as well and have called the office on one or two occasions and stated Sandy isn't the most pleasant person to speak with. Long story short, i called Lawn Doctor last week to inquire about this years maintenance for treatments. I was advised that my service was cancelled by Sandy. I asked to speak to the owner who never returned my call. When i called this morning, I was told by Sandy that we are "just not a good match". Lawn Doctor never contacted me to advise that she cancelled my service. Sandy, do you think it is wise to be turning away business given the current state of affairs in our world? Good luck! P.S. Your website says the franchise owners are Dave and Dawn.....not Sandy.

I signed up in the spring and was told it was to late for this seasons lawn, and I would have to wait for the Fall. In the interim they sold me a bunch of weed applications. Now it is time for seeding and they informed me they were done seeding for the season. How can they be done seeding for the season, if my lawn is not yet seeded? Now I have more weeds than when I started and no seed for next year. Because I worked so hard to buy a house a now want to take pride in its appearance, they lawn is a really big deal for me. The Toms River Lawn Doctor really let me down.
