Had our first monthly service today. Johnny and his crew were extremely personable and transparent. Johnny walked me around and showed me where rodent and mosquito traps were placed, and how they sprayed all around the base of the house, base of garages and base of exterior walls on the property. I’m very pleased with JS Pest Control and look forward to having a long relationship.

I called this morning to get information on potentially getting service started. I have a mosquito issue. I’ve seen the nest outside of my house in my dog room, where the water drains from the roof. There are quite a lot of baby mosquitoes flying around in that area. The lady that I spoke to this morning told me that there was nothing that they could do because mosquitoes are flying insects and she also told me that there are no issues with mosquitoes right now because it’s cold outside and their dormant. I know for a fact that mosquitoes SHOULD BE DORMANT this time of year, but unfortunately, for a lot of us in a lot of areas, they are not! The fact that she was resistant to receive the information that I was giving her so that I could potentially become a customer, really discouraged me. I told her I know for a fact that there is a mosquito issue and I’ve seen the nest outside my house. SHE WAS NO HELP AT ALL!! I hung up with her and called another company and the other company was very informative and will be sending someone out to my home tomorrow. I’m sorry JS Pest Control you lost a potential customer. Sometimes all we need is for someone to listen to the issue and at least be able to send someone out to check it out before discouraging us and turning us away during the first phone call😡😡 I am not the only one in the area that is still having problems with these so-called “no see-um’s” or little black monsters of mosquitoes. It’s really irritating and uncomfortable to say the least.

This company seemed ok. We had them come spray, after the second time they came they said they came but we have cameras and they didn't. We called the guy he came out. We hired them for pigeon control and had to keep calling because the pigeons were still there. They quoted out the job to keep the pigeons from roosting, etc. The pigeons were literally still sitting there, we called and they came out again and said I would have to pay another $1000 I don't understand how if I paid you to begin with to keep them off my window seals and eves, why I would have to pay you again when you failed to do the job I paid you for. Do the job correctly you were paid to do.i literally have a pigeon nest behind the barrier they installed. All I have asked is for you to make it right for what you promised and I paid for. That simple. So since this is STILL NOT RESOLVED. I would say find someone else for your pest control

Called about fruit fly infestation. An impolite lady on the phone said they could not help me. I’m a long term customer and consider fruit flies a pest. I don’t appreciate the uncaring attitude and non help.

I got ripped off twice. I’ve had the same book boxes in my garage since December and I still paid my $80. I called the company and told him that the tag did not change the boxes out. They did not come back. He came yesterday and he only put out two boxes and he still billing me for $80. I have a total of seven boxes in my garage. I keep getting ripped off by this company I called yesterday and he said someone will come out and replace them still nothing.

Your tech didn't seem interested in helping us. Had very low interest in the job at hand. This is Peter that is leaving the review. Kevin came out to give a estimate. But didn't sound like he wanted to do the job. So I won't be using there service.

Be aware of this company. I had them for over a year never once stop paying them for their service every month. When One of their regular technician quit and it went down hill from there. They were late on the appointments, they say they will be here at specific time never show up. After that technician left their company it wasn't the same anymore. Then the manager says one thing in the phone and it does completely opposite. The new technician that was coming in to my house did my front yard only and bill me for the month which the agreement was the whole house inside and backyard . And the manager and myself had an agreement to wait until February to start over , they wanted me to pay off the January bill. Even though the manager told me I won't pay a thing until February for all the inconvenience. Anyway be aware of these guys. Have them confirm any agreements by email otherwise you will have to cancel their service and move one with another way better company but they will send you to collections for it. Besides I rather paid the collector rather then this guys. Sent me to collection for $49 bucks when it was your mistake! Well this is honest review for y'all !

They came out a sprayed our warehouse. A bit after a month all Pest back. Called them and the refuse to respray. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. TERRIBLE spray! I paid $200 for nothing. I’m pretty bummed, I usually read reviews, has I done that I would have not used them in the first place. Before they even sprayed I could tell the company not organized. A very nice gentleman came out and gave us a quote. Said they’d be out that next Tuesday. Then the next day another guy came out to give quote, he was not so nice when we told him HIS company was already out. 🤯 then no one showed on Tuesday spray!! Called JS and had to reschedule. Completely disorganized. Their loss, I’m a lifer!! Give me great service and work, I’ll not only refer you to all, I’ll always use you. I’ll never use them again and be sure and let all know their sprays are worthless!

I canceled my service, after being a loyal customer at to different properties in the last 7 years or so. I wasn't a value customer to tell. I feel that my money was green enough. Time to move on to a better company that values their services to their customers

First off, this was my first experience with this company. I had a beehive grow in my backyard, inside of an irrigation box that’s in the ground. I called and set up an appointment, to my surprise, they said they could have someone there within the next 2-4 hours. Even better, they showed up in only 1 hour. I was impressed. The tech, Jorge, got set up and went to go check it out. First he told me a little about what was going to happen, definitely left some details out before he got started. Also, the dispatcher gave me no information about how it would be handled. So the tech thinks dispatch will explain everything and dispatch thinks the tech will. Terrible communication. The tech proceeds to make a big mess in the backyard while killing the bees. The hive was located in one corner of the yard and he takes the combs and dead bees halfway across the yard to dump it into rocks and leaving the honey drippings everywhere along the way. He takes off the top of the irrigation box off and bangs it against the wall to get any residuals off. He takes the combs, but leaves all the dead bees in the rocks. When I ask him about it, he tells me that he is not required to do any clean up, but he took care of the combs because he's a “nice guy.” Very unprofessional and somewhat condescending. So I called back to the dispatch to find out why none of that was explained to me, she put me on hold for like 10 minutes and had the service manager call me back to help. He got back to me pretty quickly and came to the house, and could not explain to me why he would walk across half the yard to make a big mess or why neither the tech nor the dispatch gave me more details on how this would be handled. Also, because he left honey drippings all over, the bees that were supposed to come back to the hive decided to go to the drippings and stay there. The good news is that the service manager tried to make it right by picking up the dead bees and having the tech come back out and finish the job. For all of this though, 14% off. I guess that's better than nothing but what a hassle. Never again guys. Terrible communication, terrible customer service.

Probably one of the worst experiences I've had with a Pest control company. I called to get rates and at the end of the call I was told a technician was going to call and schedule an appointment with me. NEVER got a call. I waited 2 days and called back. The lady said they didn't know why they didn't call but would find out and call me back with a scheduled appointment. NEVER got a call back. Then the next day they just showed up at my house without notice when we were trying to leave for my son's doctor appointment. I let them in and got the clear for all termites in the house. I still have the copy that there was nothing. The guy didn't spray or set up an appointment or anything just did the inspection. The next day, they showed up again without notice and told my husband (who wasn't home the first time) and I was gone that he needed to spray for termites. They sprayed. I asked my husband if the stuff was ok for kids as my son has been in and out of the hospital and the guy told him that he didn't know!!!! So not only are you going to show up to my house twice without notice, but you are putting my already immune deficient child at risk because you don't know if its safe for kids. Then I got an email stating that they don't have my phone number on record and to call to update my records. So they now said they don't have a number to contact me so you just show up and start spraying without any consent? Worst company. I would not recommend them at all.
