On the MGM I-95 on-ramp, a marked company vehicle sped up to prevent other cars from merging from a turn-only lane into the onward lane. Fortunately, the driver in front of the truck waved us in. The truck had plenty of time to move into the correct lane but stayed alongside our vehicle through the turn and merged abruptly right in front of us into a very tight 2-foot gap, forcing us, traffic behind, and traffic in his lane to slam on their brakes. The full length of the truck bed came extremely close to our front fender, pushing us toward the curb. This behavior is unsafe, unprofessional, and raises serious concerns about trusting this driver to safely handle equipment, chemicals, or any work inside a home.
