Affordable Termite and Pest Control

I’ve requested for the Owner to call me twice before and now a third time because of my poor service to get scheduled, and the service. I called June 22 and complained of spider webs all over my house after they just treated my house a few weeks ago. I always need to call them to reschedule or they call me and say no one’s home when they just randomly stop by. Today the guy gets out of his car grabs a sprayer out of his trunk. Walks around the house in about a minute, throws the sprayer in his trunk, I believe he notices my camera, pops his trunk back open and spays directly on my cameras, throws the sprayer back in his trunk and leaves. The reason I called was due to spiders on my covered front porch and door and my screened porch on the back plus raccoons had destroyed two pest bait traps and needed replaced. No bait was added to the other existing traps or the two destroyed were not replaced. I’m ready to change pest companies. I’m hoping the owner calls me, because his business is being ran in the ground by the office scheduler and employees that just don’t care. The technician called me after I called the office and told me he didn’t have any notes as to what he was supposed to spray. He said he baited the trap by the shed that had been opened by the raccoons, all he had was his sprayer, I guess he had poison in his pockets? I’m betting he closed the trap, it was just an open box with no guts, the other trap was completely gone. I tied a large trash bag and a wooden stake to the corner of the house with the words written on the stake bait trap.

I ordered hornet removal service and the company did not remove the cone, did not remove the live nest left on the ground near my garage door, and then did not answer my calls or voicemail asking them to fix it. When I charged back the service the owner Andrew Zogorski berated me via email about how I was lying. I honestly didn't know service could be this bad from a local company. This was a very sad experienace and I suggest you use any other company. I didn't want to write this review, but the way Andrew emailed me after I explained the situation made me feel the need to warn people.

They came out and gave me an estimate. I called and scheduled service. They never came out at scheduled time. I called left a message, with no response. Called again and left another message, with no response. To this point they have not contacted me, and service was scheduled a week ago.

I had a yellowjacket nest in the walls of my house preventing a contractor from doing some work. Austin came out in minutes and took care of the problem very quickly. I was very impressed. Thank you

Afforable Pest Control is always very responsive to my needs. In the past, I had a ton of ants in my pantry. Yuck. I wanted that solved immediately. A different company told me how to clean it myself and that they couldn’t come out to address the problem for several weeks. Not what I want in a pest company. Affordable pest control would never do that. They respond immediately. Their employees are kind and respectful. They always call when they are in route and take care of my pest needs! I am grateful for them.

I am very happy with this company’s service! Rates are very reasonable, customer service is excellent and Austin is fantastic. He walked around the entire exterior of our property to troubleshoot and show me specifically where and what type of pests could gain access and cause damage. I cannot recommend this company more highly. My husband had just been hospitalized with a rare and dangerous heart infection. Our little dog went to stay at the home of our daughter, her husband and kids. I thought “At least I don’t have to worry about the dog.” I know they love that little doggie, too. And then … the groomer discovered fleas on our dog. I did not dare vent to my husband. He was too sick. I sat in my car and sobbed. Luckily, we knew of Affordable Termite and Pest Control. They were able to work both our houses in for flea fumigation the next day. And their guy was kind, efficient and reassuring. I got teary-eyed again, this time from relief and gratitude. Sometimes a company is MORE than a business. Sometimes it’s the nice guy helping out, the neighbor we all want to have. (My husband is improving, the dog is flea-less. And I am so grateful.) Look no further! This company has served us over the past couple years with our country home, which has needed a fair amount of pest support (spiders, rodents, carpenter bees, wasps, termite prevention). We couldn't be happier with their service. The techs are knowledgable, friendly, and professional, particularly a tech they call Skippy, who has been our tech on more than one occasion and has taken the extra time to educate us about our situation. Pest damage can be stressful and tricky, and these guys not only do a great job, but they actually care about their customers. To top it off, their rates actually are affordable (unlike some bigger companies). We have had a handful of experiences with other contractors that were not ideal, and it's so relieving to know that this area is covered by people we can trust.

Amazing service

I (used) to live in the nastiest, most roach infested dive in Bloomington. Until they hired Affordable Termite and Pest. Before, I couldn't walk down the hall without stepping on fifty baby roaches per step. Now... "Roaches? What roaches?"! Thanks guys!

Great explanation in layman terms

This crew can fight bugs better than the Men in black. I got lucky and had Courtney as my tech she was on time made the elderly residents comfortable. Cracked a few dad jokes, and answered everyone's questions. She emitted professionalism and knowledge in here field and was fun to have around.
