Allen Pest Control

Allen Pest Control was called to our home located in a forested area outside of town to take care of a mice infestation. Various traps & poisons were placed in crawl space and other areas, apparently extremely toxic poisons as about a week later we experienced a strong odor coming from the crawl space, apparently of rotting mice cadavers! Allen Pest Control had assured us the mice would be removing themselves from the house and dying outside which was obviously not the case. The strong odor which permeated the house for quite some time to come was followed by a small fly infestation that ended up on our living room and kitchen windows; this lasted for several days, guessing a result of maggots hatching from poisoned and dying/rotting mice cadavers. Allen Pest Control came out once to check the crawl space however could not find any dead mice in traps or otherwise. End of story! When contacted again they remained unresponsive! This was a horrible experience and for any future rodent problems we will seek out a company that handles getting rid of rodents more humanely and/or in an eco-friendly manner!!

UPDATE: Well, we have been using Allen Pest control for 6 or so years -3X/yr., and have nothing but good things to say about their work: prompt, courteous and kind, thorough and professional! Prices reasonable in these dark times. We have had no issues since we started using this service. Thank you, Eric and CO. Dave, we enjoyed meeting you the other day. You were friendly, yet professional, and very thorough as far as we can tell. We look forward to a relatively pest-free winter and spring! I had been with a large pest control company that covered areas in Idaho and washington. Trying to get somebody on the phone was impossible. My mom had been using Allen Pest Control for years so I decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed! Allen Pest Control is a local family-owned business. Had a problem with voles and also wanted them to start a regular treatment for ants,spiders, and mice. They were very helpful in giving me pointers on how to deal with the voles myself. Always very professional and informative. Will use them regularly for our seasonal treatments of ants,spiders, and mice.

I really like their professional and caring service. They have eliminated an ant problem, and I haven't seen a spider in the house since they sprayed.

I had Eric come out to remove a bird nest in my microwave vent to the exterior wall. He was personable and efficient. Added a cover so they can't get back in. Had him come back and spray exterior of house to keep the hundreds of spiders from trying to get in. I haven't seen one since😁 highly recommend

Allen Pest Control is the only exterminator I have trusted with the care of my premises. They do spider sprays for me twice a year and took care of a flea infestation once. They always give me advice when needed. This is a family owned business and the technician who comes to my house is always very courteous. I have no reason to use anyone else.

Allen Pest Control came to our aid one day in late fall when we discovered that a rodent of some sort had moved into the engine compartment of our truck and made a nest and also one in our car which was parked next to the truck. We were not customers at the time but the service man was working across the street and we asked his advice on how to get rid of what later turned out to be a Marmot. He called his boss and they both made good suggestions and we were so pleased that we hired them on the spot to take care of other pests as well. All in all, an excellent experience.
