**⭐ 1 star** I scheduled a consultation in South Jersey with **Tru Tech** for a pest issue I’d recently encountered. I was upfront with the representative: I couldn't commit to the most expensive package. I asked respectfully if there were more economical or tiered service options available. Instead of engaging in a real conversation, the rep seemed disinterested from the start—rushing through the visit, brushing off my questions, and offering only the highest-priced option with no willingness to discuss alternatives. He didn’t inspect the perimeter or interior of the property, didn’t offer a proper diagnostic, and only agreed—reluctantly—to send a quote based on a half-hearted, incomplete assessment. I had to *push* just to get that. He even complained about his commute, as if my time and effort to be present didn’t matter. I told him plainly: I’m not calling you back for another quote—I made time for this visit so we could have a productive conversation and move forward when I’m ready. Instead, I was met with defensiveness, disinterest, and what felt like bias. To make matters worse, the representative appeared more uncomfortable around the pest issue than I was—which is ironic, considering he was the professional being considered for hire to address it. If someone is that uneasy about the job, perhaps they’re in the wrong line of work. He even referenced past customer complaints about his work not being effective, which he used to justify pushing an all-or-nothing package. That defensiveness felt projected onto me, even though I was calm, honest, and simply asking for clarity. For the record, my property is equipped with security cameras, and footage of this visit—as well as all others—is available should Tru Tech wish to review the interaction for training or accountability purposes. If this is the caliber of service Tru Tech sends out, I’d rather skip the overhead and find a local company that treats people with respect—regardless of their budget. I wouldn’t trust anyone to service my home who can’t even offer basic courtesy, let alone a full explanation of services. I won’t be calling them again, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. **Yes, the estimate was free—but you get what you pay for in professionalism and caliber.**

I contacted David about identifying a snake via its shed skin. Within 2 hours he had responded with the type of snake and the fact that it was harmless! A city slicker like me appreciates this type of help any day! Thanks a ton David!

I had a tech name Zach come and he was very professional. Punctual with time and he explained everythg and what to expect. I pray the issue with snakes is a thing of my past now.
