Would not recommend this company (formerly Bell’s Pest Control but now TruNorth—it was great back before the TruNorth buy-out) at all now for the middle Georgia area. Between shady business practices such as “treating” multiple times for the same pests with little to no improvement and then trying to upcharge for premium services for German roaches (that were not even the pests to be treated in the first place), using unethical treatment methods such as sticky traps throughout the residence without notice and causing other small animals to suffer, charging customer credit cards for more than triple the prior agreed upon treatment cost without notice and without explanation (and subsequently draining an account and leaving a customer without money on a weekend with no response to inquiry), showing up to customer homes unannounced and beginning to treat outside without prior contact or confirmation that the day/time is convenient and that the service is even wanted beforehand, and placing their own advertisement signs in yards without permission, this company is one headache after another. TruNorth clearly has a pattern of pushy business practices and subpar treatment methods that focus more on chasing the next dollar than adequately treating pests in a timely and financially reasonable manner. I would recommend finding business elsewhere if timely and effective treatment, communication, and integrity are important to you as a customer. Even if the treatments were effective immediately, it’s not worth the hassle and headache of dealing with everything else.

Bells Pest Control use to be great. They recently sold out to new owners, and they suck. They sprayed less than a month ago, and I was still seeing big roaches. I live in the woods, so seeing one every once and awhile isn’t unusual. I saw them way more than I should have considering that they just sprayed. The claimed that they switched to a new bug spray. This “new spray” only has to be sprayed outside, but they charge for the same price as spraying inside and outside. This spray obviously doesn’t work. I called to get them to come back out to spray, and they tried to tell me that it was German roaches, which is not covered under the regular spraying and requires a specialized treatment. They tried to claim the roaches “sounded like German roaches” because they come out at night and scurry when you turn the light on. News alert, that is any type of roach. I know for a fact that I don’t have German roaches, I don’t have an infestation, I have the big cockroaches that come in from living in the woods. They were trying to get out of doing the maintenance spraying in between my every three month spray. They came out to spray again, because obviously I don’t have German roaches, and they sprinkled stuff in the attic and put out sticky traps. I don’t believe in sticky traps because they are inhumane, and also something that I can buy on Amazon for $11 for a 6 pack. I threw the sticky traps away when all they caught were a lizard and three frogs. I am highly disappointed with Bells Pest Control as they use to be a great company with great results. I can only imagine how many people they are scamming now, claiming that their regular cockroaches are German roaches, which require a specialized treatment at an additional cost. I will not be using them again.

Their techs are super sweet and friendly. The office staff is a completely different story and they are why I canceled my service in addition to us still seeing problems with ants and such. There are lots of stray animals and we found 2 dead mice in the backyard. They sent Mr James out (I think that was his name) and I was sold just by the way he spoke to me. He didn’t try to get me by scaring me into business. He assured me there wasn’t activity inside and what we could do just in case. When the tech came he did the same and I loved it! A week later there was one a LOT closer, so of course I freaked. In addition, there were still ants all over the porch, in doorways, and a few in the bedrooms. I called the tech, who was super helpful to get me scheduled who then got me to office staff. She was rude, kept cutting me off and I tried brushing it off thinking maybe she had a hard day. Well, 3 weeks later I tried to call back for ants, and because of her attitude when trying to reschedule service, I just canceled altogether. I’m not going to allow anyone to make me feel like I’m an inconvenience to be a paying customer especially when what I’m requesting is within my contract.

Prices are fair and service personnel are friendly and professional. They treated the whole house for termites, but have had to come back several times for retreatment due to reinfestation. Only bad thing i can say about the company is I have a bond through them that covers retreament and is suppose to cover costs & labor of repairs due damage caused by reinfestation and they do not honor the damage repair portion of the bond contract and for this reason I do not recommend them.

We have our home serviced every 3 months and I am pleased with the results. Anytime something comes up like pesky ants, they'll come out before our next appointment and it's usually within a few days. Would recommend!

We bought our house a few months ago and it had a previous service agreement with Bell's Pest Control. I liked that they are a local small business so we decided to continue quarterly service etc with them. They seem to be very nice people and had good customer service when we had them out to spray for bugs. Unfortunately we noticed after a month or so in the house that we had some kind of rodent getting in from under the house through a kitchen cabinet. We called Bell's to come out and see the droppings and help us. They laid some mouse traps in the cabinet and told us to wait, but after 3 weeks didn't call back... And the mouse traps caught nothing though more droppings appeared in the cabinet. We called Bell's back asking if it could be chipmunks since the rodents weren't going for the mouse traps...and they told us to call someone else as they don't do wildlife. Fair enough, but we honestly had no idea what the rodents were at this point and Bell's just didn't seem interested in helping us investigate further. Called Arrow and they sent someone very quickly who actually went under our house to look, he could tell by the droppings and other evidence under the house that we had RATS. Yeah horrible, but Arrow was quick, kind, and professional about helping us quickly and posing solutions to our problem. We will be canceling our future quarterly service with Bell's and switching to Arrow pest control for all future needs.
