I had a great experience with Pure Defense Pest Solutions, especially working with Jason. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly before getting started. You can tell he really knows what he’s doing and cares about doing the job right. Jason was also very respectful of my home, worked efficiently, and made sure all my concerns were addressed. Tec was very polite and answered my questions. My only negative comment is Theran stayed on the phone the whole time , very unprofessional and should put all focus on the job at hand. A neighbor wanted to speak with him but gave up since he never got off the phone (a lost customer).
Mario Campos went above and beyond inspecting for termites and doing a thorough job in the quarterly pest control in my house in Atlanta. He is very knowledgeable and inspires trust.

Horrible service, I would never recommend this company. They treat you good the first visit then, after that, they come and they blow your house off with a blower, get in the car and leave. I called customer service asked for retreat because there were still spider Webs on my house did the same thing never touched the spider webs.And then when I canceled because of the horrible service, they charged me four hundred sixty dollars plus the eighty nine dollars For the horrible service. Very disappointed

This is a fake review. I can tell for many different reasons: We do not have a customer by the name of Ben Willingham and we do not charge that amount if someone wants to cancel. I checked the past two months and there have been NO cancellation fees charged. Here at PureDefense, we work things out with our customers—if they are not happy and if we cannot work something out we absolutely would not charge them. We also don’t use blowers to treat houses. If there is a call back, we send a lead technician to find out what is wrong. That is our protocol. If you are a current customer, and this did not happen for some reason please call in and provide the name your account is under and we will provide a refund. This just doesn’t sound right.
UPDATE as of July 23, 2025: I dont know what happened since last time but their service went straight downhill. Today, they were supposed to come bet. 8-10am as I got email and phone call twice to confirm. Well its 1:30pm and nothing. I even called the office at 1130am and they said my house was next. That's now over 2 hrs ago. No calls or follow up. No apology on delay. Nothing. There service went to the crapper now. And I dont know why. Thinking of moving on to another company as I can't trust them anymore. And this happened twice now. Tim, think you need to speak to your team about providing better customer service and being ontime. UPDATE: THEY DO GREAT SERVICE. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. (Not anymore thye aren't) Service was great and very professional. Once they spray the mosquito spray. Next day big reduction. But time of season so they back but not as much. We started contract around a month ago. Seeing spiders inside home again. Asked for revisit and respray. Seeing how they respond and what can be done about it. So far not much more than this but will update in few months to see overall service. UPDATE: they came back and resprayed as they said they would but had to followup with them on appointment status. But they did good work once arrived. I am satisfied. My tech guy was thorough.

Told Pure Defense about squirrels in our attic once again after having an independent contractor so call fix the problem. They went over almost all the details, but wrote a quote for $3k. After looking up online the square footage of our attic, they quoted us a whopping $5k! We still used them, due to them being the cheapest. But CHEAPEST DOESN’T EQUAL BEST WORK. It took multiple attempts for them to lay traps, replace the insulation and cover the holes from the inside and outside or our house. We chose to finance (with GreenSky) the remaining balance through a finance company they personally worked with. Weeks later, Pure Defense charged my AMEX credit card instead of financing. We called to remove the charge. They apologized. While paying our monthly payment, Green Sky charged us a finance charge every month. We called Pure Defense to find out they no longer used GreenSky as their financing company right before they finished the squirrel extermination. They were inconsistent, uninformed about their line of work, rude, and unprofessional. I wouldn’t suggest ANYONE to EVER use their for pest control. Pay the extra money and work with some reputable people, unlike them!

I apologize that Greensky decided to drop all pest control companies--we found that out when we brought on our new finance company who told us that we are one of hundreds finding a new finance company to work with. Unfortunately we weren't able to keep them. All of our recorded phone calls with you were reviewed and it sounds like you were happy with our services. We explained clearly that there would be multiple trap checks which is normal for this type of work. I did not hear any of our recorded phone calls displaying rude conversation. I apologize if anyone was rude and would love to hear where that took place so that we can provide training. I do know from my interviews that you were mostly irritated that we could not answer your questions about concerns you had with Greensky and fees they charged you. This is the reason we always recommend reviewing all details of the plans customers select. If there is anything more that I can do for you, please don't hesitate to reach out. My roaches were much worse using this company compared to when I sprayed my own house with Pestie for 1/3 the cost. They kept telling me that it would take time to get it under control because the bugs have to go through their life cycle and its hard to kill the eggs. Well they never got it under control. I went back to spraying my self and its MUCH better after the first spray I did. Further more their exterminators arrived 2-4 hours later than the time frame they told me 2 times in a row. I couldn't get a hold of the office one time and the other time they told me "they would be there very soon" multiple times. After I told them I was no longer interested in their services (I had bought a recurring plan because Jake is an amazing salesman, best part of the whole experience but I wish he was selling something valuable) They sent people to my house 4 more times over the next few weeks. i had to turn them away. Then they sent Tristan while I wasn't home, he sprayed and charged me for it! I called and complained and they kept telling me their supervisor would reach out to me about it. No one ever did. I have never seen a company so disorganized and bad a what they do. They are very nice and do extra things like knock down spiderwebs, but that doesn't make up for the extermination not working, their employees being very late with no communication and them insisting on sending people and charging me after I canceled.

I am out of contract and have been trying to cancel my service for the past 2 weeks - I have called and emailed - they keep telling me a manager will call me back - hasn’t happened yet - disappointed in this level of customer service

Pure defense service was awful. No keep appointment time and I received invoice again even if I paid it in advance. No recommendation to use this service.

According to the notes in the system the service was done as promised and our manager returned to resolve your complaint. Your service did not include sealing all of the gaps and holes on the outside of your home. As homes naturally age shifting of the structure cause gaps to form like the gaps around your garage where the brick is deteriorating. I was able to view pictures of the area. This type of service is not part of what PureDefense provides but is more in line with what a brick mason would provide. The manager who came out to your home to reinspect could not find any insects, spider webs or anything else that we promised we would eliminate. We are sorry if you felt like our services should have fixed the brick work. Besides this, I do understand that your main concern is with a payment and we are happy to work with you to resolve this. I made the worst decision to use this company. Very bad service. They told me to switch from baiting station to liquid solution without any charge and technician will contact me for the details, but after no communication for one year, they now told me they have to charge me more than $1000 for the liquid solution!!!! Never, Never, Never use this company!!!

Our notes and email correspondence show that we gave you a promotional price on March 29, 2017—we would feel badly if we put you off for a year. A second email follow up was also sent. As for the price: the 4 hour minimum liquid treatment that gives you complete protection would never be free especially when your home has so much wood-to-earth contact like yours does. Your home has many conditions conducive to termite activity making it a big liability. We are sorry but these factors were taken into account to price your treatment. Techs are great and their in field service is good, but they cannot seem to get the billing and backoffice correct. Has been a disaster in this area, forcing us to look for another provider

It has been 5 years since the particular office assistant who we (not long following your post) let go. Unfortunately with state unemployment insurance regulations if you want to terminate an employee you need to give them a chance to correct their habits and when you find out something isn’t going right you have to give them a chance. Unfortunately she had a few conversations with you regarding a mistake she made and you helped us see she wasn’t a good fit. We did end up letting her go shortly thereafter. Currently, we have an absolute wonderful billing specialist in her place and software improvements that resolve all issues she was having with your account. I see that you have been a customer still 5 years later and I do not see any issues in the notes on your account indicating there have been any problems. Could you reconsider your review regarding this now resolved issue? I would greatly appreciate it. Such an horrible company, beware... I had service three years back for 6 service in 1 year and I paid $300 in advance for all services. I was not satisfied so I didn't continue. After that there was no communication, ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION. and two month back I got a call from collection agency that there is $120 past due balance and they are collection on behalf of pure defense. When I asked detail they have no idea, keep insisting to pay. I asked them to send me info whatever you have and also sent two certified letter requesting the same but didn't hear any thing. I am just worried what they are going to do with my credit. Firstly of all , there was no unpaid balance, if this is case then I am just wondering why puredefence didnt contact me directly? why they took so long why collection agency not providing me detail what happens if my phone got changed. There are lot of other why and what question. So I suggest you to stay away with such fraud company and still if you have reason to go with this then don't change your phone # they can come behind you at any time and impact your credit in a min which you have build up in years.
