Robert is a terrific sprinkler technician. He was very knowledgeable about all kinds of systems. He checked our system thoroughly and made suggestions. We had him install a new system. He was incredibly thorough and professional. I recommend him without hesitation.
This was a wonderful experience. The father and son team cane to my house and redid the sprinkler system and changed the pump. They were so helpful and skillful in what they did. Both these guys were so trustworthy and reliable it was amazing. I just had alot of work done at my home and these two men Robert and his partner restored my faith in dealing with tradesmen. I asked them if they would now maintain my sprinkler system and they said yes. I trust them 100 percent. Job well done guys. !!!!!!!!!!!

hey do yall mind NOT ripping up all my pride flags and destroying any property of mine that is a pride flag. It’s actually really weird how you left everyone’s Christmas decorations untouched but all of my flags were scattered around my front lawn shredded to pieces. I had to throw so many others away because they were just BITS of plastic everywhere. It’s so dangerous to the environment as well….

Mike and his team... our arborists...do an amazing job here at Sabbia Beach condo. It starts out with simple and very reliable communication. Then the team arrives on time and creates miracles on our trees and shrubs. Mike orchestrates every saw, prune and trim on a large campus of flora. Then its over and cleaned up immaculately and they are on their merry way. I highly recommend the Ted Conner Tree Service for any commercial business.

If you want things done and done right, Ted Conner is the only way to go in South Florida!! We had a large project (our property is about 120K square feet) in Pompano Beach, which has one of the toughest requirements and inspectors. Our project required a new irrigation system, tree removal, tree planting, sod and shrub planting. To make things more difficult, our property had a lot of challenges such as large amounts stone in the ground, tree roots everywhere, and persistent truck traffic. Ted Conner was our savior! All of their employees behaved professionally, knew exactly what to do, and we never had to "hand-hold" them. They managed the whole project and worked very closely with the city inspectors. Jason, Jack and the rest of the team are absolutely amazing! Do NOT waste your time with anyone else in the area as there are many crooks in the area. Go Ted Conner!!
I had some severely overgrown and diseased hedges in the front and back yards that had to be completely removed and replaced. When I contacted the company, the owner, Jason, came out and reviewed the possibilities of what could be done. He discussed a number of possible replacement plants for each specific area. We decided on the plants and he sent me an itemized quote detailing all of the work that he thought should be done. The price was very good and Luc and his crew did an outstanding job! They were very thorough in removing the existing hedges and meticulous in their prep and planting of the new bushes. The areas look fantastic. I will definitely use them again for any landscaping in the future.

The entire team at Ted Connor did an incredible job with my landscaping design, installation, and irrigation. They even ran electric so I can do tree lighting down the road. The team went above and beyond and my yard looks incredible. Special shoutout to Stanley to came out and helped me with an irrigation line on very short notice. Highly reccomend!

I'm sure they do good work but their service trucks are constantly parking on pedestrian sidewalks. Constantly. It's incredible rude and super dangerous. Pompano is one of the worst cities in the nation for pedestrian deaths and this company's constant disregard for sidewalks is a huge problem.

We’re a Pompano-based business and have been servicing the area for over 45 years and we certainly don’t want to put anyone in harm’s way.<br>Your concern has not fallen on deaf ears as we will review our parking procedures, look for alternatives and discuss parking on site with the property manager to address this matter. A phone call to us would have garnered some attention as we are extremely focused on safety for our customers, employees and our community. <br>
Unfortunately we had to fire this company today. We've had 2 years of subpar work at our business. They didn't honor the contractual agreement to come out when they were supposed to, they avoid calls for weeks, and I had 6 different clients tell me over the years that whoever does our landscaping is doing a very poor job. Embarrassing! I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but enough is enough. Stay AWAY from this company!

I hear you have a great reputation in your industry, and you should feel good about your property. Of all the services we offer, landscape maintenance is by far the most challenging. There are so many variables to contend with and if anything goes wrong, the maintenance division gets the brunt of it. I understand that from the time we installed the landscaping 2 years ago, per the city approved plans, there have been several challenges along the way that we’ve done our best to communicate and work around. <br>I know we never met personally as your team worked directly with some of our team members and I regret not getting to know you or having the chance to speak as I’m sure we could have resolved any issues. We take our reputation seriously and, in most cases, do what it takes to resolve any concerns. The day I heard you were unhappy, and before I saw your review, I called your office in hopes of speaking to you to hear your concerns, correct any deficiencies, clarify any miscommunications, and discuss leaving your property in the best shape possible for the next contractor. <br>We thank you for your business and wish you nothing but the best in the future. <br>
Poor quality - repeatedly had to tell yard workers to clear sprinkler heads when mowing. Overcharged -multiple times the workers would be a the house for 10-15 minutes and write on charge ticket that they were working for 1-1.5 hrs. Overpriced - insisted on charging for 44 grass cuts per year. NOBODY gets there grass cut every week in the winter. Poor management - returned from being out of the country and found they had cancelled service due to a note on the door (maybe) about raising prices was not addressed. Then when you call the office to find out what is going on, nobody gets back to you Save your time and money- use someone else

Thank you for your feedback. Back in March we made the uncomfortable decision to raise customers while simultaneously modifying the frequency of our services to become more efficient and simplify our scheduling for several reasons. Fuel costs alone were a major factor in this decision.<br>To give clients plenty of time to review the information and see if the changes were a good fit for them, we mailed letters 30 days in advance of the effective date and asked clients to respond so we could follow up with those that didn’t. In your case, we didn’t hear from you, so I personally sent a follow-up email to you and a few others we didn't hear from, our office followed up with a phone call and a manager left a copy of the letter in your mailbox.<br>With no response after 30+ days and multiple attempts we made the decision to stop service. Unfortunately, from past experiences when we’ve continued services out of good faith, people refused to pay, which is why we provided the information so far in advance.<br>I see we provided landscape maintenance (30 visits per year) and fertilization and pest control, and you did not to use our monthly irrigation service. We started your property in April 2020 and charged a set monthly fee for these services, which was never raised until this attempt, so I’m not sure why you would report that we “overcharged” or logged time on tickets when your fees were fixed per month. Other than the initial clean-up services we did in April 2020 I don’t see any additional charges on your account.<br>We did change our model from 30 cuts per year to 44 per year for several reasons; however, the new program does not call for weekly service in the winter. This program provides weekly service from April through September (26 services) and then reduces to 3 times per month from October through March (18 services). We’ve learned that it’s easier to schedule properties weekly in the growing season and it’s better for the health of the turf since we don’t have to cut off as much of the grass blades between services. With our crews on the property more often we can keep properties looking better and more consistent throughout the year.<br>I’m sorry we couldn’t reach you and feel that if we had we could have resolved your concerns. We thank you for your business the past 2 years and wish you nothing but the best in the future.
Worst landscaping service I ever seen everything that I told him to do they did the opposite their trees their plants their flowers was all Dead when they arrived and not pretty they promised me to make my backyard look like Tropical and when I confronted and told them they yelled at me and he was very disrespectful very rude and inconsiderate definitely highly do not recommend Service and they start their work in the afternoon when they say they’re going to start in the morning beware of them they’re going to tell you fairytales and dreams but it’s all a lie

Hello Spencer,<br><br>I’m familiar with most of our client’s name and landscape installation projects and I don’t recognize your name. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of fake reviews out there to discredit hard working companies and several of your comments don’t line up with our normal operating procedures. If this is a legitimate review, I’d love to meet with you personally to address your concerns.<br><br>To touch upon a few of your comments. For landscape installation projects we spend as much time as is needed with clients to ensure we meet their objectives and we’re all on the same page before we collect any money or begin a project. Once we establish a plan we provide detailed line-item proposals so you know exactly what you’re getting and what each item will cost so there are no surprises. In most cases, we also provide pictures of the plants for clarity and for specialty items we provide pictures of the actual tree or palm you’re purchasing to ensure it’s exactly what you want. We do this to avoid anyone from saying “we did the opposite of everything you told us”.<br><br>Regarding the quality of the material. We purchase all our material from reputable sources, mostly FNGLA (FL Nursery Growers and Landscape Association) members and we’re proud of the material we provide. All the material we install is guaranteed to pass any landscape inspection as required by law. If we showed up with plants that “dead when they arrived” then we’d really be in trouble LOL. You don’t last in this industry for 44 years by supplying dead plants. Additionally, we provide detailed watering guidelines at the completion of every project to help you protect your landscape investment and ensure it gets the water it needs to establish, survive, and thrive.<br><br>Scheduling landscape projects in South Florida certainly has its challenges, especially during the rainy season so it is very possible a project that was slated for a morning was delayed to the afternoon. We like to complete one project before starting another we do our best to communicate with clients and work around their schedules to be as accommodating as possible.<br><br>I would encourage anyone reading this who is interested in landscape design and installation services to reach out to us and see how our process works for yourself. We don’t spend any money on advertising and have been providing quality landscape services for 44 years all based on word of mouth… not google reviews.
Don’t let them sell you a bill of goods!! I’d give them minus 5 stars if I could!!! Poor quality work! Poor value!! Unprofessional!! They park their trucks behind residents homes with any consideration for residents wanted to back in or out. There workers throw their trash from lunch along with their drink containers on the lawn. Weeds galore!! Workers don’t take pride in what they do!! Shame on Ted O’Connor and his shabby workmanship!! All his 5 star ratings much come from his cousins!! The work ethic starts at the top!! Beware of false promises in his interviews!!!
We used Ted Conner for tree trimming. Need to code trees planted, so we called them. 2 Green Buttonwoods have been sick since they planted them. Came once to spray. Would not do anything past that. These are the only 2 young GB I have ever seen look this bad. $2000 wasted.
By far the worst customer service. I'm not sure how many times I have called to get an estimate and have been told someone is coming to take a look, and never shows. When they did show up (2 weeks later, no joke) they gave a ridiculous price. The guy that came seemed very knowledgeable, but also was very rude. Also the woman on the phone is extremely unprofessional and seemed to have zero interest in helping us get an estimate. Just called Potters and they came out the next day and gave an estimate 1/10th the price! what! So if you want horrible customer service and to be spoken down to, then this is the company for you!
Very expensive, HORRIBLE SERVCE, my dogs could do a better job and are much more pleasant to deal with. It's too bad this company is still "in business ".
Tree experts? More like tree jerks! I have been waken up by their loud equipment and trucks very early in the morning on a Saturday. It's unnecessary and I don't appreciate it!
