***BEWARE OF THE UPSELL FOR TERMITE TREATMENT*** We previously contracted petri for general pest control services and John was our technician. He was great. Then we developed a termite issue and Michael Sosa ended up as the sales person who came out. Not a technician, but a sales person. Rather than suggesting the accepted industry standard for subterranean termites, he tried to sell me on tenting the house for approximately $4,700 and installing bait stations in the ground (the correct treatment). The total was somewhere around $6,500. As soon as he left I started doing research through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and reference points through Univ. of FL. Petri's attempt to sell a house tenting was improper, contrary to accepted standards and practices but Michael persisted when questioned about the tenting and claimed it was the proper course of treatment in conjunction with bait stations. All services canceled with Petri.

I continue to recover from serious surgery. As I have become more aware of the lawn needs, I saw a Petri sign in the common area of our HOA. I called and Petri evaluated what was needed and the team immediately went to work. The team was awesome in explaining what they were applying and why. The price also was comfortable. Highly recommend the Petri team!

Great service...5 stars! 3/20/26 Mr. Barber did a very thorough inspection and treatment of our lawn and shrubbery. He does a terrific job of keeping our landscaping in tip-top condition. Very happy with the Petri service!

This company no longer delivers! Used to be excellent service for several years to my 2 properties until it recently changed ownership. Will not be using them!

Long review. please read. Be warned. ... On December 29th we found out that we had some bed bugs. We moved the bed to outside. Then we removed electrical face plates and put bedbug powder in the outlets. We then called our sales rep at Petri pest control She came out the next day , looked at furniture we put outside and confirmed we have bedbugs. She quoted $1,000.00 to treat 2 rooms ($500.00 each room) The rooms are approximately 12 feet by 10 feet each. The next day 2 "techs" arrived at our house. When they arrived there were no signs of bed bugs. (No infestation) They sprayed the base boards, dusted outlets... I had already removed face plates and dusted and they put a spray on carpet in 1 of the rooms. They were at my house 12 minutes. They did not have to move any furniture. The bed was already outside so they did not treat a bed. I called the sales rep and told her the techs were at my house for 12 minutes and basically just sprayed the base board. They did not have to move furniture or treat a bed So how was this different than monthly service. I told her I felt ripped off. Please justify the price. She said the GPS shows the techs being at my house more than 12 minutes. I sent her footage from security cameras of techs arriving, leaving and sitting in their truck for a while. She then had a manager call me. I told him for what was done, I feel ripped off. That I want his company to make money... but the bill should be discounted .. He did not care. The next Tuesday the techs came and did another super fast treatment. Fast forward to a week later. I get a call from a tech at 5 pm. The tech said he was outside to come in and do an inspection. I told him the company never called to make an appointment, that it is 5pm and we are leaving the house. I told him to have the company call me to schedule an appointment. 2 days later I get a report via email on the inspection that was NOT done. On the report it states that customer (me) told the tech to "FU". Not true !! So I texted the sales rep telling her this is not a true statement. I do not talk to any one that way. She texted back to please stop contacting her after hours and she would contact me the next day. I never heard from her. The point of this long review is that I found Petri to be the worse company I ever dealt with. I found them highly unprofessional. I found the treatment to be an absolute overpriced ripoff. Do not let any pest control company exploit your emotion about having bed bugs. Get a written agreement of exactly what they will do for their excessive fees. As a retired business owner and someone that helped train Fortune 500 companies, I can honestly say Petri is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Be aware!!! Been using Petri for sometime. In November they came out and killed some of our bushes and grass, and acknowledged doing so (I have pictures). We have about $3500 in damages, they offered $500. We will not accept that and offered them a substantial discount to resolve. We have yet to resolve!!!

No call no show no text, know what to expect when you hire these folks On Friday morning, I called the office and they confirmed I had an appointment between 2:00 and 4:00 last Friday. By 3:30 I hadn't heard anything and I called the office, they put me on hold for a few minutes and said well we can't get in touch with our technician. That was it. Looking for a new company.

This company used to be great. Now- I’m told it’s a 2 hour window. Does 7.30-10:00 sound like two hours? When questioned about the raise in price they reply we always raise the prices. It’s because you are on autopay that we don’t notify you. Now they have a sister company. It’s a disaster. I need a new company.

Petri used to be the best pest control. They were purchased by Rocket Pest Control and went as far south as you can go, at least in the experience of myself and my tenants. I called them for a rodent problem, they didn't even walk the perimiter of my house to look for entry points, not did they even go in the attic, they just said the problem was in the roof, NOT! I had 3 other individuals check and they clearly found the entrance from the outside of the house and roof was sealed. Petri/Rocket set a couple traps, only for 4 days of the week, they wouldn't let them stay active over the weekend (said the 3 day weekend was too many days, but the 4 day week wasn't - go figure?). Continually missed appointments, didn't call back, I continually got disconnected, they promised service that never happened, would say to call back cause they weren't able to cancel service at that time and the list goes on and on. It is now Oct and I am still waiting for call backs from months ago. I disputed their $400 charge and they wasted no time responding to the credit card company to get that money back in their hands, clearly their priority over customer service. I spoke with one representative who looked over the notes, said I was in the right, transferred me to the person who could make it right and he was very NON service oriented, would not make the service right nor would he refund my $$$. Considerable time passed where they did not provide adequate service, my rodents had plenty of time to multiply and I had no choice but to go with another company, Orkin (who by the way has been awesome). I still am so upset with the experience and CANNOT recommend this new Petri/Rocket company strongly enough.

STAY A WAY FROM THIS COMAPNY!!!! Extremely disappointed and frustrated with this company. I hired them for termite fumigation, and not only did they tent my home improperly, but they also caused significant damage to my roof and gutters in the process. After I brought the issue to their attention, they refused to take any responsibility or cover the damages. Their customer service has been unhelpful and dismissive throughout the entire ordeal. If you value your home and peace of mind, I will strongly recommend looking elsewhere for pest control services. This has been a costly and stressful experience, and I regret choosing this company

I have had a continuous indoor and outdoor pest control contract with this company for years. Now I am selling the property and I’m told that there is active termite activity. I’ve tried to call, but no manager was available to speak with me.Definitely do not recommend.

I’m convinced that nobody in South Florida knows anything about lawns. I have very specific issues in certain areas of my yard where the grass is stunted, yellow and not thriving. In the backyard I have large passes dying from what looks like pour drainage. Every company that I’ve had come out give me great promises how they are the best in taking care of lawns and then when their guys come out and spray they do the same thing, spray fertilizer and give generic Instructions about watering three times a day. This company is no different. If you just need somebody to show up and spray then you can pick any of the companies out there but if you have a real issue that you need to solve, don’t bother. I was promised they would send their “best guy“ with 25 years of experience. I also informed them that the yard had been sprayed with fertilizer for the last two months (Two other companies) And that it did not need any more fertilizer and that I had also sprayed fungicide. The Salesman agreed with me that it did not need fertilizer. The guy shows up and what does he do? Sprays fertilizer and fungicide and advises me to water three times a week. The salesman that comes out will promise you everything and they will deliver nothing.

Had service with Petri for more than two years, so I was shocked when I found my privacy hedges that I’d been growing for eight years were all burned. They came out twice to review finally admitted The mix of chemicals was too strong. Their response was they’ll grow back and Continue with the service and get two free sprays. Ask to speak with owner but no one returns my call. Stay away from Petri
