When I originally started using this service they were very helpful with my pest problem. After my original 1 year contract was up I was told that I would be charged a per visit charge of service. They then only came every 2 months to spray but I was still charged every month until I canceled their service. When I called to inquire about the extra charges they said because I had terminated my service with them that there was nothing they would do about the extra charges.
The absolutely worst. Don't waste your time or money. They were great in the beginning, but after that everything went downhill. You can rarely get anyone to answer the phone, if you select the option for existing customer. Now and then you get someone to pick up when you select the New Customer option. Out of the last 6 appointments, 3 of them no one showed up for. They never contacted us to let us know this, and to reschedule. WE called them and let them know the service never took place and THEN they offered to reschedule. They have an automated message calling you on the weekend prior to the appointment to let you know they will be there, to leave gates unlocked, keep animals inside, and tells you that you don't need to be present. However, apparently the technicians don't report to anyone when they are a no show (or they say they performed the service and it's never confirmed by the home owners), and unless you are actually home and see them show up, you would never know they weren't there, as they don't leave any notes on the door or in the mailbox that the service was done. You get an email at some point, but I'm sure that is also automated and not based on a actual service report. When it comes to this business, at the least, the manager, or someone needs to make a followup call behind to confirm that the appointment took place.
We have being billed consistently for 3 months with absolutely no service at our home. We have to no avail for months Reporting to bbb this week I am absolutely disgusted We have ants and mosquitoes. When they did provide services, it was consistently a different person even though they said that there would be the same people and this is complete. Terrible customer service and complete terrible professionalism. We have had this service for two years. They sprayed our inside of our house two times who knows if they even came and sprayed the outside of our house while we weren’t here because so it’s supposed to be every other month we have no clue if you guys have even done anything
It was absolutely superb service. Beginning with Kyle to start my Insight Pest contract. Then no more than an hour later Sajarvious was here doing the pest control job. He took care in every room ( including the garage), corners, window sills, appropriate cabinets, and then went outside for the perimeter of the house, yard, driveway and sidewalk cracks. Did I mention the best part of dusting high up on both the front and back porches, and in the garage to get cobwebs! Fantastic service! If I see bugs I am to call and they will be back. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Very disappointed. This company was supposed to service our home every month, but one month they didn’t show up at all. Despite that, they tried to charge us a cancellation fee and also overcharged us. They wanted to offer us a settlement amount of 40% off the cancellation fee.(We wouldn't cancel if we felt like they were doing a good job.) Then they overcharged us that amount! Then they said they would issue a refund — but instead of refunding the correct amount, they sent only $0.63. Then they closed our account and told us they’d have to reopen it to process the proper refund. Extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend.
Service was fast , friendly and immediate. I haven't seen any fire ants or wasps since they sprayed the yard.
We had them out for our first treatment and were very impressed. The technician was professional, thorough, and explained everything clearly. It’s too early to comment on results, but they were very adamant about calling them immediately if we see any issues or bugs, which gave us confidence that they stand behind their work. Great first experience. We will update with info as service progresses!

Save yourself the trouble and do not use them. The only good service appointment we’ve had with them was the first one. The technician was amazing. After that it’s been downhill. We’ve had to complain to them three different times about three different issues. Do not recommend them, will never recommend them and will not be renewing our service when it ends. Also they do not listen to the customers concerns we’ve had to repeat ourselves several times about the same issue. I don’t know if they’re just not notating the account. We will be looking for another pest control company for the yard.
They do an amazing job. The technicians have all been extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. But I won’t be renewing my services with them solely because of them making you have 1-3 year contracts that you can’t get out of unless you pay an astronomical amount where it’s just better to struggle and make the payment each month. I have 6 months left and the fee I would have to pay covers 5 months of service. I recently had an emergency come up and needed to cut back on expenses. I’m a single mom of two so every penny counts. This company only wants their money at the end of the day. So after the contract is up they won’t see a dime of mine anymore. Which is crazy because if I were to have been allowed to pause services or cancel and come back when I could they would have had a life long customer. But some people never learn that choosing greed only makes you lose in the end.
This is likely one of the worst companies that I've ever done business with. They come out right when they set you up and actually do what appears to be a decent job, but then, after that, everything is like pulling teeth with them. I'm frequently calling after their "treatments" to come back out and perform another one because we continue to find active ant beds just days after they've treated. It once took about 3-weeks for them to treat a wasp/hornet nest in our front yard. However, none of that tops what we just went through with them concerning their "annual rodent inspection". They sent a guy out late morning on a Friday to crawl around in the attic and look around. Much to anyone's surprise, he comes back down and advises me that we've got a rodent infestation that must be remediated immediately. He immediately starts going into how there's dozens of identifiable burrows, and active running ways, and how if they don't deal with it THAT weekend that I'm going to be completely over run with rodents that will require us to tent the house, remove walls, etc.... As I start getting cagy about what's going on, that's when the inspector really started pouring it on, telling me that I really need to do this because we've got a baby in the house, and this is going to be a major health issue, etc. They sold the problem and the solution.... They worked up a $24,000 quote to fix everything, and then worked it down to $14,000 if I signed all the paperwork, agreed to have the work performed no later than Sunday morning (just 2 days away and a timeline that likely prevents most people from being able to get additional opinions), and signed up for their financing option by telling their loan broker that "work has been completed" (this is a big no-no with the loan broker because it disburses the funds even though the work was never started). Now, since this was the first time I've ever dealt with anything like this, and they were leveraging the health of my family to push me into this, I ended up agreeing. The only saving graces was the back out clauses and the other great pest control companies in the area. I was very fortunate that I was able to get a couple of other inspectors from different companies out that Friday for second opinions and confirm that I did NOT have a rodent infestation. All that was left was to cancel the agreement, and pray that all the money went back to the correct hands with minimal trouble. After calling the inspector not but 3-4 hours after leaving my house to cancel, he had the unmitigated gall to ask me: "Now just to be sure, before I cancel your work agreement, I want to hear you say that you're ok with the dead bodies in your walls and ceilings, and you're ok with the health risk your putting on your family." This is a completely unacceptable way to talk to people. After confirming with with the inspector that I intend to cancel the work agreement, It took nearly 3-weeks of calling/emailing what felt like every other day, the loan broker contacting them multiple times on my behalf during that time, and contacting the corporate office for all of the money to shuffle back around into the proper accounts. anytime you try and contact their office to discus anything, a service call rep will simply tell you "we'll contact the service manager, and they'll contact you." I've been with insight the better part of this year, and I've never been contacted by anyone outside of this service rep, and I don't believe they've ever returned an email. I've completely lost all trust for this company, and we no longer feel comfortable with them sending people to our house for the reasons above.
⚠️ Insight Pest Solutions – Very Disappointing Experience I would never recommend Insight Pest Solutions to anyone. This company is all about contracts and excuses, not results. They charge an outrageous $299 just to cancel, claiming it’s because the “initial service cost them too much.” That’s absurd considering the so-called “initial service” was nothing more than a quick 30-minute spray around the house — not at all the thorough, professional pest control they advertise. Months later, I’m still dealing with the exact same pests: wasps, hornets, ants, spiders, fruit flies — you name it. It’s like they never treated the property at all. Each time I tried to cancel, they pressured me to keep the service, promising to “respray” and “guarantee results or refund my money.” Those promises turned out to be empty lies. Just recently, I had to kill a spider crawling in my bed, so clearly their treatments don’t work. To make things worse, I thought my account was cancelled since I stopped getting email invoices — but then a paper bill showed up out of nowhere. Completely unprofessional. This company is a waste of money and time. Their treatments are ineffective, their sales tactics are misleading, and their “guarantee” means nothing. I’m done with Insight Pest Solutions. I’ll stick with Pestie DIY, which costs far less and actually delivers results.
They just ask for good reviews in the first time service cause they know they are going to have bad reviews from the same people by months. I’m also getting charged by Insight Pest Solutions for something I never received. They keep trying to bill me between $350 and $900 for a “term fee” even though no service was ever done at my house. When I called to ask why, they said it was a “contract termination fee,” which makes no sense because I never approved any service in the first place. This company is taking advantage of people — be careful before giving them your information. Definitely not recommended.
Beware!!!! This company is as predatory as they come. They start out with great service however as time goes on the trouble begins. I started paying closer attention to the technician and the service they provided and it wasn’t what was promised. They would take a duster of some sorts and skim under the soffits then barely spread some granular chemicals over the yard. First few times out they spent 20 min or so by the time I had enough they would be gone in 5-10 min max. Every technician that comes out was different and would tell my wife and I that the last guy out (their own technician) didn’t do the job correctly but he would do it right every time. When I called to cancel my service because they failed to provide the services they said would be done they began to try and strong arm me into keeping the contract. They began to threaten to turn me over to collections for $320 for a cancellation fee. If you decide to hire them you will be throwing your money in the trash. I truly hope this saves someone else from the issues I had and am dealing with now.
I originally signed a contract with insight to handle a pest situation on my property in the interior of the home. They agreed and acknowledged where the issue was and provided a plan to treat and prevent future infestations. After several months of treatment no improvement was apparent. I had communicated with the exterminator each visit to inform them of the continued issue. After 8 months of frustrated lack of service I tried to cancel the service. Their main offices indicated they never received any knowledge of the services not working. The technicians would add in their notes that the job was complete with no additional comments. This was smart because the contract says you have to pay a cancellation fee if you cancel before the end date or after you’ve raised concerns and additional treatment hasn’t resolved the issue. Be aware if treatment doesn’t work the technicians will report no concerns in order to protect themselves from dissatisfied customers. Forcing you to pay for services that have provide no benefit to you as the customer. I just hope this review finds people before they commit to a 12 month contract like I did.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They send sales people to your door that tell you one thing - and then they change everything and add all sorts of fees & penalties. I specifically asked the gentleman that sold me the service what the cancellation fee/penalty would be if I was not happy with the service and he said there would be nothing but a 30 day notice requirement. LIES. I have been trying to cancel my contract since June and have everything in writing – They keep playing stupid and passing me off on other people and continue to take money out of my account. Highly do not recommend this shady excuse for a pest control company.
They talked my elderly mom into signing a year contract. The 1st quarter was good. The second they rescheduled only once. The the 3rd showed up literally over a month late for their service with multiple cancellations. This quarter they are again a month late. Our contract is up so I called requesting a refund for the quarter no one showed. They said we have to give 30 days notice. She has called 4 times in the past month reminding them they forgot her. You talk to someone with poor English to schedule, then no one shows on that date and they do an automated call with a different date for no one to show.
