I switched companies after 5 years with another company. The services at Cook’s are a little more expensive than the previous pest control place but the service is worth paying a little extra. It’s been top tier communication for me personally. I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with Regina who was so wonderful and super informative getting me started with them, and since then it’s been Lisa and Krystina and they have both been super easy to deal with and quick to getting me situated. Chris has been an awesome tech and is quick to getting the little ants that decide to show up in the most random of places 😆 alongside quarterly indoor and outdoor and monthly mosquito treatment. I also opted for their termite protection as well and was happy with that service too.

Cooks in Daphne AL was wonderful. Cooks in Pensacola has been terrible. Every single quarter has been an issue with something. I asked repeatedly when I was working from home that the technician NOT ring my doorbell because my dog would bark when the bell rang. I ended up talking to the manager and finally that was resolved after the 3rd time. They constantly schedule me for the next day without confirming ahead of time. I've asked them several times to please let me know more than a day in advance. Today I was told that "we cannot call each customer and schedule individually, but would be more than happy to try to accommodate you." Accommodating me would be to schedule more than a day in advance. When I called to cancel my quarterly pest control account and was asked the reason why, Lisa (I think was her name) started arguing and saying she's looking at the messages and I didn't have to say anything except "tomorrow doesn't work for me." Rescheduling every time with a load of text messages is irritating to me. The pest control is fine, but I prefer kindness and "accommodation" that isn't just lip service. I was so irritated that I told the lady that this is the exact reason I'm cancelling. Thankfully there is a local pest control company who does schedule your pest control ahead of time and thankfully I signed a contract with them today.
