Alfa J Services is dishonest and does not stand by its promises or recommendations regarding treatment plans. Alfa J Services was hired to do an inspection for dry wood termites. Several areas in my unit and another unit within my 16-unit condo building were found to have ACTIVE dry wood termites. The technician that came to inspect my unit and the others in my building stated at the time that he could spot treat for termites but that the level of infestation warranted the building being tented to properly treat the infestation. However, as one of the unit owners is friends with Alfa J Services owner, and that unit owner doesn’t want/have the money to properly tent he was able to have the Alfa J Services representative change his recommendation to spot treatment. Yet almost two years later several units still have termites. The latest recommendation from Alfa J Services was to continue spot treatment even though the infestation has grown and moved into other units.

At Alfa J Services, we value all customer feedback, whether positive or negative, as it gives us the opportunity to address concerns and clarify our recommendations.<br><br>We are disappointed to hear that you feel we were dishonest or failed to stand behind our work, as that is not an accurate reflection of how we conduct business. In this case, our original recommendation was for a full-structure tent fumigation because it is the most effective method for eliminating widespread drywood termite activity. However, the treatment option selected was localized spot treatments by the board members. We made it clear that spot treatments are designed to eliminate termites only in the areas treated and do not guarantee elimination of all drywood termites throughout the structure.<br><br>We stand behind every treatment we perform, not only because it is the right thing to do, but because it is required by law. Over the past two years, we have returned to perform additional treatments to this unit as needed under the terms of our warranty.<br><br>Most recently, a certified pest control operator inspected the property and found evidence consisting of dead termites, wings, and frass, but no live termite activity. The recommendation was to continue monitoring for any new evidence of active infestation. Should new activity be observed, the available options remain localized spot treatments or a complete tent fumigation.<br><br>Our responsibility is to provide honest inspections, explain the available treatment options, and make professional recommendations. The final decision regarding which treatment is authorized for a condominium property rests with the condominium association or its designated representatives, who determine the approved scope of work.<br><br>We remain committed to providing honest advice, quality service, and standing behind the work we perform.<br><br><br><br>

Used their services for pest control and fire retardant for my tiki hut. Jerry is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. The first time they sprayed it rained later that day and Jerry made it a priority to have the tiki hut resprayed for fire retardant again. He kept in touch regularly until there was no rain and made sure this was completed free of charge. Most notably, he was going through a serious medical crisis with his wife and still kept in touch. What amazing customer service! Thank you for great service and thank you Jerry for your service to our country!

Great service. Jerry and his crew were great. We have a large tiki hut that needed to be sprayed for insects and fireproofing. The first time they came, it was too windy to spray the fireproofing so they had to come back. Jerry followed up with me almost daily asking about the wind conditions. They came back and sprayed without a problem.

Jerry and his employees were very thorough and professional. We have a very large tiki that was sprayed for termites. We had to close our business down for 5 days to make sure that everything was sprayed very well. They were on time and on schedule, so that we could open our doors back up on our set date. The jobsite was always kept clean and safe. Jerry was always here with his employees to make sure that the job was going as planned. I would definitely recommend their services.

You need to tell your salesmen to STOP calling when we let them know we do not want your services. I had a friendly conversation with a gentleman about our Tiki roofs and pest control, but I let him know I am not the decision maker for your services. When our general manager emailed back letting him know that we do not want Alfa J's services, the phonecalls DID NOT STOP! I had to block your number on the executive phones, and then our front desk started to get inundated with calls and voicemails. I'm sure you have a nice service, but the gentleman that kept calling every day (6 calls in one day on my phone alone) just makes your business look desperate. Additional** if you read my complaint, it says we did in fact email you. We never received a response. At this point in time, we now had a contractor sub you. Very bad experience.

Hello Sir, We have no idea who you are, and I could not find you as a customer. But the fact that you came on here and never once emailed or called us directly to say please stop. Says a lot about the person !<br>In regards to your review,All are sales personel are trained to call and do follow ups. If the customer does not directly say, please stop calling us, they won't. And the reason why is many times our customers have busy lives, and we have heard many times that they were grateful that we didn't forgot to call them back, and follow up. Especially our commercial clients that have multiple properties with tiki huts. They are required by law to protect their tiki huts and coordinate with a Fire Marshall to get the certification. So don't confuse being proactive with desperation. I am so grateful to have employees that go the extra mile even if to others it triggers them.
