Don't use Aptive. They charge you and don't service your home. I have called several times complaining. After a year, I wanted to cancel. They charged me another $199 for canceling. This company doesn't stand behind their sevices.

Beware of Aptive. They force you into a contract. I cancelled early after one year, and it was a ridiculous process. And of course I was charged $199, my bad. I accept the consequences.

Terrible. I hired them to address a very specific problem and they sent a technician with no clue about that problem. They keep auto-scheduling appointments with no input from me. After multiple appointments ($$) with them they still have not solved the problem and still ask each time what I need (hub??), send someone clueless, and my singular problem I asked them to solve persists. I reiterate- Terrible!

Absolutely brutal experience. They text you before arriving for appointments. I noted twice to not ring the doorbell as kids are sleeping and both time the door bell was rang. I then proceeded to cancel my service and after having to repeat my desire to cancel 4,789 times they finally did so. Afterwards I was charged an additional $89.99 for a monthly service that I did not receive and was told no luck on being reimbursed as this is how their billing cycle works, even through I did not receive this month. Terrible experience. I would rather have the bugs than have to deal with this company ever again.

We’ve been using Aptive for years. They always come when they say they’re going to come and do a great job of treating our yard for pests. We especially love that with our membership, they will come out to do touchups for free if we see anything going on (e.g. ants or a wasp nest) we are very pleased!

A sales rep knocked on my door, even though I had a no solicitation sign. The sales person said he ignored the sign because I had done bussiness with Aptive before when I had not. Also having done bussiness with a customer is not an exemption to ignore a no solicitation sign in Colorado. The only exceptions include fundraising for non-profits or political campaigns.

I own a brand new home. I have had Aptive service my home 10 times. The chemicals they used on my home is deteriorating my concrete foundation. I filed a complaint with this company and they denied any wrong doing. Do not use this company!

I felt misled during the sales process the representative emphasized that I’d “just pay $50 today” without clearly explaining the full terms of the contract or future payments. It gave the impression of a bait-and-switch, which was disappointing. That said, the contract did allow for cancellation within three days without penalty, and I appreciated how easy and hassle-free that process was. Customer support was courteous and professional throughout the cancellation.

Extremely difficult to cancel. I'm trying to cancel on behalf of family with Alzheimer's who is unable to do this themselves and has tried prior to moving. Service is now happening at the new home owners house without there permission. They refuse to cancel service or even stop spraying at the house that somebody else owns (and may not want chemicals sprayed) without the person with alzheimers doing it from their phone. Customer service wait time is at least 20 minutes which is a long time to ask someone with Alzheimer's to wait on the phone. This is unethical.

While I was happy enough with the pest control that I had, do to some financial challenges I had to cancel my membership till I get in better shape after some home repairs. The process was a nightmare, I can't cancel my services ahead of time without canceling what I already had signed up for. This feels like a predatory attempt to get me accidentally subscribed to their services. I read online they are known for having predatory sales and after this it makes sense. Will certainly need more bug services but will be taking my business other places after this. Canceling your services shouldn't be this hard.

Extremely upset and disappointed with the service from Aptive. I got pressured into signing up for a trial service for 6 months, which I take accountability for. The salesperson insisted that since his “truck was in the neighborhood and needed to fill in one more spot” that he’d give me a deal. I went ahead and signed up as I did truly need a pest control service. They salesperson persons proceeded to drive off in his Mercedes and scheduled my service for the next day. While I was at work the next day my wife called me and told me that she was getting pressured into signing a 1 year contract with escalating prices for each month. This truly upset me as they tried to pressure my wife after taking advantage of me by lying about their pricing and services. I strongly recommend going with another company, I’ve never felt to humiliated and taken advantage of. Beware of their bait and switch.

I am furious with your company..I rescheduled my appointment yesterday which I received email confirmation for I have proof..you still sent someone out and no one was home so you went ahead and did a service without my consent. You let my dogs escape from the yard causing me to be late for work since you didn't lock the gate and now he has a rash all over his body for some reason I'm guessing from the chemicals. I rescheduled because I wasn't going to be home it was for a specific reason. I want to cancel my service immediately and I want a refund for the service yesterday and a phone call from your customer service as soon as possible to get an explanation for what happened yesterday. Unbelievable nonsense

Signed the contract with Aptive in July 2024. Poor service - I had little wasp nests at the porch that I was unable to remove myself because they were very high. I asked the team during the first treatment to remove them, not done; asked again during the second treatment, not done. The sales rep during the contract signing confirmed I would be able to reschedule the appointments so I don't have them done during the winter, now when I tried to do so, they say it's not an option per my contract (they will be coming every 50 days and I have to pay $170 each time). Now terminating the contract so that I don't have to pay them for coming to my house during the winter in CO when it snows to do wasp/spider treatments in my backyard. Very unethical company. Stay away

Polite and professional gentleman came to door. After first service it was a nightmare trying to cancel. I was promised an optional service fee and was charged full price. I called and said the could keep the amount I was charged and I just wanted to cancel. Supervisor said they had to charge me an additional fee to cancel. Don’t be fooled by this company.

I had a very disappointing experience with Aptive. The sales process was extremely pushy; even after I said no several times, the salesperson kept reducing the price until I reluctantly agreed. In hindsight, the "discount" didn't matter since I ended up having to pay it back when I canceled the service early. The service itself didn't deliver the results I was promised, and despite the frequent treatments, there was little improvement in the pest situation. The contract terms were not clearly explained, and I was surprised by the cancellation fees. I would not recommend this company due to the high-pressure sales tactics and lack of transparency.
