AA-Beekeeper | Live Bee Removal & Relocation

Seth and his AA Beekeeper employees took on a very challenging task. A beehive was established in my owl box that was towered on a metal pole 30' in the air. The hive was easily near 100 lbs and there wasn't even a tree branch nearby to rig a pulley to help lower the hive. They were undeterred and figured a way to cantilever the pole and retrieve the hive.

These guys have been great to deal with and I have been using them for at least several years. Both to remove hives and even to relocate them on our property to a more desirable place,

Our bee removal in Jamul went very smooth. We had a hive under our roof and another high up a tree in a birdhouse. Both hives were removed in about 3 hours. Scheduled a bee removal on a Saturday, the tech arrived and promptly performed the work quickly. He explained the process of the removal. We got several quotes for bee relocation from an old owl box and a carport, and AA was by far the most affordable. They also seemed the most knowledgeable and confident about the job. Reynau came out and carefully removed an owl box that was partially detached and completely overflowing with bees. He successfully transferred the colony into one of our bee boxes. He then opened up a wall in our carport and discovered two separate hives inside. Since we didn't have enough bee boxes prepared for all the bees, he relocated one of the hives himself. Throughout the process, Reynau was incredibly kind and patient. He allowed my husband and me to help and learn while he worked, which made the experience even more rewarding. His expertise and willingness to share his knowledge were greatly appreciated. Excellent service from start to finish, and money very well spent. We highly recommend AA for anyone needing bee relocation services.

I ended up after 38 years in this house finding a swarm of bees up by my second story by the fireplace. So I called AA Beekeeper and they came out a few hours later. I could not even believe what they found inside the wall up on the second story! The amount of bees they took out was mind-blowing and there were four honeycombs also. The guy said they had only been there a month. I was in shock. They had to cut the roof away, take tiles off, etc. But they did a wonderful job.

I came home after a long day of work and a swarm of bees decided that my chimney was the perfect home for their growing colony. It was 6 PM on a weekday and after calling so many supposed “24/7 Emergency” Bee companies, AA Beekeeper was the only team to come to our rescue. Ashley, in the office, did everything she could to coordinate with her team and get someone over as quickly as possible. Sergio, the lead technician showed up, diverted the bees that were already in the house, and sealed off the opening of our chimney. I thought we were going to have to spend a few nights in a hotel, but AA Beekeepers came that same evening. They came again the next day to further assess, rehomed the rest of the swarm safely, and provided peace of mind to our family. AA Beekeeper were amazing to work with. I let them know we had a swarm forming and where I last saw them. AA Beekeeper came out the same day and found the swarm. They predicted where the bees might end up and arrived the next morning and caught the queeen and relocated the colony to one of our properties that had tangerine orchards on site. Easy to work with, professional and the end result could not have been better!
