This is an update to my last review, below. We have had Greenwise install our outdoor Christmas decor this past year and again this year. They did a terrific job, as always. A shout out particularly to Juan Carlos and Houston, who were efficient and courteous, and responsive to our couple of questions. Really professional and nice guys to boot. From 2023: We had The Green Team - now partnered with Greenwise Organic (an outfit out of Chicago) - out last week for a Spring clean-up of our backyard and front bushes area. The team - Amanda, Gerardo and Ren - were on time, courteous, efficient and thorough. Our patio space and yard looks tidy and neat, ready for Spring flowering and sitting in the sun. We always appreciated The Green Team's practice of prompt reply to queries, provided with evident expertise. Greenwise continues this and has even improved on it, with notice well in advance of scheduled services, which gives us the opportunity to be present with questions and/or concerns. And commitment to environmentally conscious policies remains part of this premium-standard lawn and yard-care service.

Greenwise team removed an old, unattractive retaining wall and replaced it with a beautiful new wall with some nice landscaping. The project, no small undertaken, was completed in a week and was done very professionally and efficiently. Great job!

We use Greenwise annual maintenance program and our yard & lawn have never looked better. It’s a great price for all the services included in their roughly 7 month package. Their team was awesome. Lynn did a fantastic job coming up with a beautiful design for our front yard. She was so knowledgeable, and we had the utmost confidence that anything she picked out was the right choice. She communicated if there was a change and was super responsive if we had a question. The installers were super professional. Just a great experience overall.

I was very pleased with my experience working with greenwise. Diana helped me make decisions about plants use. I was surprised when they came to do the work that I was asked to join them before they started to rim the tree.asked which branches to cut so the tree looked natural and even. They made edges with gracefully curves rather than strait lines.I asked them to remove shrub and tree stumps that other companies told me they couldn't do because they couldn't get their machines up the hill.I was surprised that they did all the work by hand no machines were used even to mix compost into the soil. I had asked if they could plant in the spot where they were going to remove several shrub roots.She said they would probably just cut them off and treat them but they removed them and planted flowers I was very happy with that. They did some extra things so I thought the final payment might be higher but it wasn't. I recommend this company to anyone who asks for a great job.

Great company to deal with. Lynn was fantastic and a joy to work with; showed through drawings what the project would look like, then delivered. She oversaw the project start to finish. Easy invoicing and payment on line. If you have a landscape project I would recommend this company.

I have been working with them for years. They just built a new patio, that I am very happy with and cleared out my weeds.

I have been using Green Team of WI and now Greenwise for many years - perhaps their very first year. When the garden beds start becoming overgrown, they provide recommendations and reasonable quotes for thinning and changing out plants. In addition to weed and garden maintenance, we added in lawn cutting and mosquito/wasp control this year and are even happier than before. Everyone on the team does an excellent job. I hope and look forward to having snow removal services available in the MKE area soon! Thanks to Greenwise for making our yard look nice and our summers more fun.

We had a great experience with Greenwise’s landscaping team! We own an older home that had established landscaping in the front and side yard. We liked some of it, but a lot was mismatched and had grown together awkwardly. Kristi was very consultative and was able to keep, move, or split the existing elements that we liked and incorporated them into a new design. She really listened to us and made thoughtful adjustments based on our feedback. The team who executed was very efficient and professional. We look forward to working with Greenwise again in the future to design our back yard!

Greenwise is outstanding! Highly recommend this local company that treats you like a valued partner and takes pride in providing genuinely wonderful landscaping services. After doing a GREAT job over the last few years with fall- and spring-clean-ups as well as summer maintenance, Greenwise completely overhauled my large, hillside corner lot. From designing, weeding, prepping, planting and mulching, they have done an amazing job and have been awesome to work with. Especially, Kristi. I’m not very botanically literate and was super grateful to have Kristi walk me through everything. She is very knowledgeable, informative, patient, and communicative. My property had a lot of overgrowth with invasive plants taking root. I wanted to turn it into a natural-looking habitat, organically (NO pesticides) with native/semi-native plants that attract pollinators. It felt overwhelming. Kristi designed a wonderful layout of diverse plants that not only looks fantastic, it started attracting pollinators right away. Their team also laid out all the hoses for irrigation and coached me through watering schedules. Seamless. What a delight it was to see huge, beautiful bumble bees visiting the hill this summer ❤️ Greenwise stands by their work, too. In the heat of summer, a few plants didn’t survive and Greenwise has since replaced them with new ones. I couldn’t be happier with Greenwise and recommend them to everyone! If you care about your land, the environment, and want pesticide-free landscaping, Greenwise is your best bet. My neighbor hired them after seeing their great work. You should, too!

Update 2025: Once again, exceptional work by Greenwise! This year Jax and Jorge tackled the wildly overgrown areas of my garden, with thick growths of invasive weeds averaging 4-5 feet tall, and successfully removed all the overgrowth and installed a weed suppression system. In addition, they cleared up the less wild areas of my garden, and planted a bunch more native plants! It was all topped off with a beautiful layer of wood chips. I continue to be extremely impressed by the quality of work carried out by everyone from Greenwise, and I wish it were possible to give more than 5 stars! 2024 review: Greenwise designed and installed a native plant pollinator garden for me. It is absolutely beautiful! They took all my preferences (and budget) into account, to give me exactly what I wanted! The work was completed quickly and professionally. All-in-all a great experience, and I highly recommend them!

We used Greenwise to design and install a large patio to replace an old deck. The project involved deck demolition and removal, regrading, retaining walls, patio design and installation, and design and installation of nearby planting areas. The large project was completed on-time and in-budget. The end result is exactly what we were hoping for. Communication throughout the project was excellent.

Greenwise reinvisioned my urban front yard and parkway! It transformed from a few non-unified plantings and grass to a fully-fledged city perennial garden! It has been a few months since the initial install and the plants are thriving! Loving the result! Looking forward to seeing the plantings fill in as they grow!

They did a great job with my plantings. The crew was very respectful and did a wonderful job all around!

We consulted with Greenwise for a complete front lawn renovation at our home. After discussing what we wanted and hearing the suggestions from Greenwise, they were able to create a plan for us from their landscape architect. Our project was delayed a few times due to rain but Greenwise kept us informed about the projected start date frequently. Once the project started it only took a few days to complete. The landscapers were excellent-always on-time and worked hard all day. Lynn and Heather were great too! They were always checking in with us to see what we thought and give us any updates on the progress. We really appreciated that. We were impressed with the quality of the materials used-stone blocks, new plantings and fresh sod. The project turned out absolutely beautiful and were are so pleased with the whole process! I would highly recommend Greenwise for landscaping projects.

Lawn care is very expensive and all I have asked that they call ahead before coming for a service. I have kids (hence why I’m interested in organic lawn care) and they leave toys and stuff in yard that if it’s not picked up before they come they either spray it with compost/fertilizer or miss that part of my yard. They have been completely unable to call ahead , instead just showing up. And then after two services of me asking if they could call, I get an email saying they will charge me a fee each time they “have to call” and then…. They still didn’t call and just showed up and scared my nanny who is watching my kids while I’m at work. I’m very disappointed as I love this organic lawn care but they have very poor customer service for the price. .
