This is a must visit for any old home owner. Just had my first visit here for a plumbing issue in my 1925 home. I live across town and moving forward I will happily go out of my way to shop here every time I need to visit the hardware store. This is exactly how I remember the hardware store shopping experience growing up, with personal help and thorough explanations. I also expected to pay a markup for a local specialty shop, and was happy to do so, but the total came out far lower than any big box store would have for the same, if not higher quality items, and a better customer experience.
Solid group of guys, always have what I need.

This place has really gone downhill. They've seemed to have force what their business model and the reason people went there in the first place and paid their RIDICULOUSLY inflated prices: A higher level of service and knowledge. NOT ANYMORE. Absolutely NO REASON to go there unless you absolutely have to. AVOID.

I left this place upset. I went there yesterday morning for some basic parts, not advice or instructions… I just needed to find the items in the store. An elderly employee helped me, but his attitude was terrible! I shrugged it off and contributed it to old age or the guy was just having a bad morning.

Tried to go get a key made sat in there for 25 minutes waiting for them while they sit and diagnose another clients issue which no problem. There was 12 ppl in line and only two people got service while I was there. Do t shop here.

Fantastic selection and an outstanding and knowledgeable staff. From locks to plaster and from plumbing to electrical, these guys know their stuff. If they’re busy, just take a number and they’ll help you just like an old school deli. They come up with solid solutions for nearly every repair. It’s like having a whole store full of pros from the show “This Old House”. If you ever had a handyman who knew how to fix everything, he probably learned it from the staff at Crown. This is the last of the full service hardware stores. While not the cheapest, they’re the best and I’m making sure my son and everyone I can from the next generation of skilled tradesmen and DIY’ers alike know that you definitely get what you pay for and, while not expensive, these guys are the best.

OMG do not go there take me 20 minutes to get a guy to wait on me the guy did not know what he was talking about and this is supposed to be the place to go for plumbing and hardware do not go there the guy treated me like it was my fault I didn't know what plumbing was

Very friendly and helpful. Crown hardware and plumbing isn’t a big place but they carry specialty products that most other hardware stores don’t. They had what I was looking for. A very nice experience.

I have never been so blown away by amazing customer service and knowledge. A job that I have been spending weeks and $100’s at chain stores could’ve been solved in 1 day with the help of the staff here. I will forever be coming here for any plumbing or strange handyman needs. 10 out of 5 stars so highly recommend.

The guy at the front desk is rude. I’m already having a hard time and this man was like the straw that broke the camels back and I couldn’t even hide my tears. I just needed a cap to cap off a gas line behind my stove. I don’t know what’s it’s called and he got angry with me to the point where the customer next to me saw my frustration and tried to help. He is mean and should not be working the desk if he thinks he’s so much better than us. I have been here quite a few times and everyone else has been helpful and I didn’t even get everything I wanted because of his poor attitude. I am insulted and disgusted.

On two separate trips both an employee and I were met with poor attitudes and agressive opinions from desk staff and given incorrect information. Left without buying anything and sourced parts online instead. I'd love to love this store and prefer to buy parts in person but bad experiences and very rude staff have me just planning ahead better and buying online for speciality parts.

There were 12 people waiting for help. The lady behind the will call desk has enough time to have racist conversations with customers about "how she don't trust the white man" and talking about Jesus. Another customer walked out after being annoyed and she asked to talk politics with him. Bliffert hardware down the road does not bring politics or racial issues into prices so I'd suggest shopping there

They had the American Standard parts I needed but I didn't appreciate the price gouging (e.g. Faucet Cartridge 023529-0070A RRP $26 Crown Price $47! ) my wife picked them up for me so possibly a man might have had a different price

Store hours need to be updated!!!! Drove 20 mins on Saturday just to find out they are closed on Saturday & Sunday. Google show they are open for Saturday until 2pm.

They have an older guy is an a-hole. Great selection, but I will never come back there. Better be ready to be hassled if you need something.

Called them looking for a part and the girl that answered was beyond unprofessional and flat out hood. She answered and put me on hold twice but with the worst attitude ever. Then the guy that answered also was rude, short and in need of customer service training. I will never ever call or shop here.
