1st American Pest Control

I have never been treated as rudely as I was by this company’s owner, Billy Jo. I was extremely disappointed when not once, but twice I tried to talk with her about a billing question and each time she quickly escalated and cut me off. I even told her I was calmly trying to talk with her. And this was shortly after I had just referred another customer to this company. Our technician, Sam was wonderful, this review is not against her at all. I just believe if I am paying a company, give them a referral, and have been their paying customer for over two years I should be treated courteously, not rudely. As a result, we have hired with another pest control company.

I cannot say enough positive things about this company. They are very professional, courteous, and super responsive! Billy Jo, Barry, Samantha and Steve are the best people! I will and always will refer them to everyone!

UPDATE: we are still with 1st American Pest Control three years later. They are just as good today as when we had our first treatment. Sam continues to be thorough and adjust each visit to focus on problem issues - and when replacing some mouse traps she kept in mind that we have a young puppy and placed them carefully in the path of mice but out of the path of our young and inquisitive pup - also she very thoroughly investigated spider and wasp issues - I really can’t say enough positive things about Sam herself, and this company. If you need help with a wide variety of pest control - you couldn’t find a better local company - they are reliable, prompt, efficient, friendly, and they are very competitively priced. Thank you guys! Barry LARock - the boss - is very friendly and straightforward about pricing and services. After our initial phone call I sent an email requesting service and they got back to me right away. Sam, who is one of the folks at 1st American Pest Control, was the one who then set up a time for her to come to my house. She got me in within the week - which is awesome - she understood my desire for a rapid response. Sam arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and was friendly and ready to get to work. She asked questions to verify what services were needed (very thorough to make sure nothing was missed) - she toured the house and looked for problem areas - then she did an excellent job of treating all of the problems - and finally she wrote everything down for me so I can keep track of of what was done. I can not recommend Sam enough!!! She was patient and answered all of my questions! She was knowledgeable about the products she was using and their application - and there were NO surprise fees/up-charges!!! The total bill was exactly what Barry quoted - and I really appreciate that as well. Thank you for being an honest and caring small business - with excellent employees. I would highly recommend!!!

Just wanted to leave a review for 1st American Pest control. I've been using this company at my home and office for at least the last 8 years and have had nothing but Professional Service with always outstanding results. I've even had the same technician this entire time who knows our home knows what to do and gets it done always with the same price. Never any up charge never any issues whatsoever. I will also say at the end of last summer we had flying insects that we could not get rid of and this really affects your life because when I called 1st American Pest Control to come out and take care of it and coming back to zero insects was really gratifying because we had put up with it so long having them completely gone and being back to normal was heavenly. It turns out the woodpeckers had pecked a hole in our wood siding and that's where they were getting in. These were flying little moths, beatles as well as flies. Of course these things can drive you nuts when you're trying to go about your day so thanks a lot 1st American Pest Control! We appreciate your years of service and consistency! We've been doing business with this company for many years now. Not only are they great on good quality, good value, professional, responsive and on time, but they are really great on communication--letting us know what they have done and what they've found after their service call.

Sam was excellent. We had a bad ground hornet problem with 2 large nests. She described the problem, what she was going to do and, best of all, she was SO effective! She came back twice to check results and the cost was VERY reasonable. Very happy customers!
