Wow wow wow... James was a miracle worker earlier this morning. We had a bit of a complicated situation we found ourselves in and needed service ASAP. We had a dead rodent that was stinking up our home and multiple events and bdays planned for the next couple of days. Most companies were charging an arm and a leg for a one-time service or they required us to be on a monthly subscription with them. Eastside Exterminators were able to not only do a one-time rodent removal but also schedule a follow up inspection without us being on a subscription AND they were able to do it TODAY AND they did it all at a fraction of the cost that everyone else was quoting us. Cannot express how grateful I am to James and Zach and the rest of the crew for moving heaven and earth to make sure we were taken care of. Thank YOU!!!!!!

The sales agent is misleading and introduced services I don't need. and they blamed customers for not paying attention. First, they said no charges on first visit, and then they send another technician doing different work (without communication) on first visit and charges me $219. and they argued they did the work (even this is not the service I needed). They threatened they will put you on billings collection if you don't pay the service (why should I pay the service I don't want). Very baaaaaaad customer communication. I would rate zero if system allows.

Here goes my very first one-star review. BEWARE: They charged me over $200 for a basic inspection and a few traps — something I later learned many companies do for free. After they found out I signed with another company, they tried to charge me another $150 just to come pick up their traps (which already had dead rats on them). This was never mentioned upfront. Felt like a bait-and-switch. Get other quotes first — plenty of companies will do the inspection and bid at no cost.

Each is performed by a licensed professional who documents pest activity, damage, and insulation quality in detail. Because of the time and expertise involved, we do charge for the inspection itself, but the cost is waived if you move forward with the recommended work or with one of our SMART pest packages, low-obligation service plans which have no fees for cancellation.<br><br>We reviewed the initial scheduling call to ensure expectations were clear and confirmed that the inspection fee and policy were discussed at that time. We do this regularly when concerns arise to make sure our communication meets our own standards.<br><br>The traps left after your inspection were provided as a courtesy to help manage any immediate activity, and there is no charge for leaving them in place.<br><br>We never want anyone to feel surprised or misled, and I would be happy to talk through any lingering concerns directly. They give no notice and don’t let us know when they are at our home prior to spraying. We like to play outside a lot and the technician was unconcerned for my children’s safety. He also tapped on the glass of our slider at our dog while we were eating dinner, and we didn’t even know he was at our home!

We pay for year round service. The amount they charge every other month when they come out is Alot. Yesterday when the service tech was here. He spent only 7 minutes total with treatments for our home. The usual ones. The other 20 plus minutes he spent sitting in his truck before he left. It was not a thorough job, ad we have cameras for proof. It normally takes them at least twice that amount of time for the techs that do a "good job". I also noted that he was not our usual tech. I am extremely disappointed with our service today. But the company doesn't give back any refunds of any kind when service is poor. This used to be a good company. They have expanded more in the Tacoma area. But they usually have the "not good techs" serve this area. Yesterday's service was a prime example of this. I will be speaking to his supervisor today. Not going to keep paying that price for POOR service!

I had such a wretched experience with Eastside Exterminators that I now post my first negative review of a company. I found Eastside Exterminators incompetent, deceitful, arrogant, and insanely expensive. I had an infestation of moth flies that were laying larvae in a rug. I called Eastside. They said they would complete a full extermination for $420. If I had any problems after their first visit, they would return and fix the problem at no charge. I made an appointment and prepaid them in full. When the exterminator arrived, he sprayed the carpet and floorboards, set up a few traps and left after 45 minutes. The Moth Flies did not leave. I decided to do some research on the internet. I quickly learned that these flies were also named Drain Flies because they bred in drains. I inspected my drains and found two seldom used ones had become Moth Fly reproductive centers. Though his hourly charge exceeded that of a Wall Street lawyer, the supposed expert exterminator from Eastside never said a word about drains and Drain Flies. I called Eastside today to speak to the manager. The manager replied that my $420 paid only for the flies in the rug. Drains, being a different category of service, were not included. Therefore, they would not return to fix my problem, nor would they offer a me a rebate. Clearly, they early do not want my business. You might regret giving them your business.

Absolutely horrible company and horrendous customer service. We used this company for over 4 years for general pest control, both inside and outside of our home. During our last visit, the person said that they had sprayed multiple wasp nests developing under the eaves of our house. When we continued to see wasps in those nests, we called to confirm that they had actually been sprayed. It took them 3 weeks to return our phone calls requesting to have someone come back out to actually spray those nests. During that time, we canceled our service, since we were effectively paying them for not doing their job. Once a manager did finally call us back, they informed us that because we canceled our service, it "negated our warranty", and they would have to charge us to come back out. Absolutely ridiculous. Between that, not actually inspecting our attic (beyond the 10 feet they could see from the entrance), and poisoning our dog because they dropped a rat poison block in our yard, we're happy to be rid of this company for good!

Just a big scam. I used Eastside exterminators on multiple properties. I thought they were very capable and had a good program going at first. They told me to suspend the system when I no longer seen the pest problems and to give them a call back if the pest problems returned. Well when you call them back to say your problem has returned. They give you a whole lot of who shot John about how you cancelled and now they have to recharge you more fees to come back to your property. It's a scam game. Then they tried telling me I had no business contracts. When I tried to explain, that I did have a contract, because I meet them at the site. They just argued that I did not have a contract and that I cancelled with them. Just a big scammer that's all they are.

Hello, this is Alex Altizer the owner of Eastside Exterminators. <br>This customer hired us on 7-15-2021 for Odorous House ants (Sugar Ants). We performed the initial and on 9-22-2021 we did a preventive maintenance service to help stop reinfestation. <br>On 10-26-2021 customer called in at 3:20 pm wanting to put her service on hold, we told her we don't put accounts on hold and could cancel her account and service. No decision was made by the customer.<br>On 10-29-2021 at 3:54pm customer called in and said she "no longer needs service". We canceled her account. <br>on 4-10-2-23 (a year and a half later) she called in wanting to restart her maintenance service with no initial charged and keeping the price the same as 2021.<br>We never told her to suspend her service.<br>We do not have long term contracts with our customers and customers may stop their service at any time which she chose to do. <br>This consumer has unrealistic expectations. Be careful. We had an inspection which didn't lead to a problem, so we ended up only having to pay a consultation. However, over a month later they randomly charged our credit card over $4k and provided no explanation. It took 4+ days to get our money back and they treated us like we were lying before eventually returning the funds. Luckily I had notifications set on my phone for sums like this, but I can only imagine how much this would have led to overages and an unusable card for someone paying via debit card. They still provided no explanation or apology. Would not use them again.

Stay away!! I called them to help with possible rodents going into the house from the vents. They came up with an extensive list of what they’re going to patch, and marketed their work as very professional. To my surprise, they ended up stapling mesh all over the house in a very messy way and billed me 10k for it!!! If I had known they’d be stapling mesh, I would have gotten any handy man to do it for much cheaper. Total scam and not trust worthy! I called and sent emails to complain and all they did is give me 800$ out of 10k back!!! Check out the picture!
